Users cannot browse category pages properly

I tried to fix this using WordPress rewrite rules and paginate_links filters, but it does nothing, which means Datebook is generating pagination with a custom function, not WordPress native taxonomy pagination. So my question is:

Where exactly in Datebook is the pagination base URL generated for classifieds taxonomy pages?

I need to know:

The file and function responsible for building pagination links for classifiedcats

Or how to override the base URL so it keeps the taxonomy slug

Example:

From:

/ads-meetings/page/2/

To:

/annunturi-antalniri/{category-slug}/page/2/

This is critical for a dating classifieds site. Please help me

I investigated the pagination issue for classifieds categories and it seems the problem is not in the pagination function itself, but in the query that loads the classifieds list.

Currently the classifieds listing is generated with a custom WP_Query, but the paged parameter is not passed, so WordPress cannot recognize URLs like:

/anunturi-matrimoniale/page/2/ /anunturi-matrimoniale/barbat-cauta-femeie/page/2/

Because of this, WordPress returns a 404 page.

The query that loads classifieds needs to include the paged parameter, for example:

```php $paged = max(1, get_query_var(‘paged’));

$query = new WP_Query(array( ‘post_type’ => DATEBOOK_CLASSIFIEDS_TYPE, ‘paged’ => $paged )); ```

Without passing the paged variable to WP_Query, pagination links generated by paginate_links() will not work.

Could you please check the classifieds listing query (the file where WP_Query for classifieds is created) and add the paged parameter so pagination works correctly?

I second it, the question from HermanRoos. I already asked the same. It would be nice if an admin has an account as well and where users can see it is the admin, so they can ask questions en send messages as well. It helps interacting with the users.

Hello. I installed the datebook theme on my website. I can not change the color of the main text/typography on my site. The text is white, and the background on white. Therefore the text can not be read. I was able to change the color of the heading text. But all text in a paragraph is staying white. Examples: 1) Welcome message on home page 2) Countries list on bottom of home page 3) text on registration form 4) text on profile page

I am having 2 minor problems. 1) after a user registers, they receive this message on their profile. “Profile is pending approval! Your profile is not active yet and awaiting moderator approval.” I changed my setting to automatically approve profiles. How do I change/edit this message?

2) on my classified page, how do I change the text and background of the classified ads? Right now the background is white, and the font/text is white. The classified ads can not be read.

Hi Pagick, you really need to load a feature where admins can directly message members on their profiles and they need to be able to reply for free. Admins must have their own profile automatically where members can send us direct messages and then receive messages in return without subscriptions. This will improve engagement with our members and help with new signups

Also admins must be able to override all settings automatically when making changes to profiles.

For eg: members often choose the wrong gender when they sign up, now I must go and enable the ‘allow users to change genders’ setting, then save, then go to the profile, change gender myself on their profile because I can’t message the profile directly, then save, then go back to dashboard, disable ‘allow users to change genders’ then save. It’s time consuming.

Admins must have full control not only in the dashboard but on website to make changes.

And for months now if you select ‘force users to complete profile’ then you can’t post a classified ad, it says you don’t have permission. These 2 settings are in conflict.

Also members must be able to delete a message in the message box when they make a mistake, this is very important also I think, gives a better user experience.

When we are online using the Datebook theme and searching for profiles, we notice that when we click the back button on mobile, an error appears.

It shows a message like this:

“Confirm Form Resubmission This web page requires data that you entered earlier in order to be properly displayed. Press the reload button to resubmit the data needed to load the page. ERR_CACHE_MISS”

Could you please check why this is happening and advise on how to fix it?

Also, is it possible to implement a Back button on the profile search page so users can return to the search results without getting this error?

Hi, good day thevarajah22. This error does not exist in the theme. I have never seen that error neither on our demo websites nor on our customers websites. Neither on mobile devices nor on desktop.

That error relates to your browser. Try to use another browser.

Also, perhaps, if your website is located on some cloud server, then that cloud may affect your website.

There is nothing to fix in the theme related to that error.

Can you please make 4.9.9 available via API (Envator Market Plugin)? I contacted Envato yesterday thinking it’s missing on their end but they said you need to do something to make it available I guess.

Ça fait trois semaines aujourd’hui mon site est en ligne et ne fonctionne pas.

Je vous ai écrit plusieurs fois concernant mon problème d’activation de fonctionnalités après paiement mais je n’ai eu aucun retour. Je vous ai expliqué clairement mon problème : Avec le système de paiement intégré ( PayPal)après paiement les fonctionnalités ne sont pas automatiquement attribué à l’acheteur. Le paiement a et reste en attente. Du côté de PayPal je reçois normalement le paiement mais sur le thème aucun signal.

J’ai.eu le même problème avec le mode de paiement woocommerce et j’ai.du le desinstallé pour utiliser le mode intégré au thème. Il y’a aussi le panneau d’outils woocommerce qui apparaît en mode visiteur et cela prête la confusion aux visiteurs. En vous remerciant d’avance.

The DateBook theme accepts payments correctly through WooCommerce.

But there may be several problems on your side:

1) some payment plugins in WooCommerce may work incorrectly. In this case, you can try another payment plugin.

2) Very often, users cannot correctly configure the account on PayPal and their payment plugins. You must know how to configure the payment plugin and your PayPal account.

Advice: personally, I prefer Stripe. It is very easy to configure.

This demo website uses WooCommerce, and PayPal and Stripe payment plugins. They all work and accept payments.

You should correctly configure your PayPal account and payment plugin. That’s it.

Actuellement PAYPAL marche bien mais ce qui me gène il faut créer un compte pour procéder au paiement. je n’ai pas encore testé le mode par banque. En me renseignant sur internet je constate que paystack ne fonctionnera pas sur mon site que faire s’il vous plaît? Aussi le panneau de matchmaking en pourcentage n’apparaît pas sous le profil que faire? devrais-je ajouter ce shorTcode sur la page profil?

As I remember, in your account on PayPal, you can select to allow users to pay directly to you, without creating an account. Here is a guide how to do it:

  1. Log in to your PayPal Business account. https://www.paypal.com/us/cshelp/article/how-do-i-accept-cards-with-checkout-using-the-guest-checkout-option--help307
  2. Navigate to Account Settings.
  3. Click Website payments on the left menu.
  4. Click Update next to Website preferences.
  5. Switch “PayPal Account Optional” to On.

2) Regarding the percentage matchmaking panel. The panel is not displayed when you are logged in as administrator. Try to login as a normal user, the panel will appear at the bottom of profile.

Hi Pagick, in the new version 4.9.9 I saw in the blog the rwd issues, the images can’t working properly. Also on the manual active (green button on the profile – admin manage) user button doesn’t work the first time. Bonjour paggick, Pouvez vous m’aider pour mon problème d’activation des fonctionnalités après un paiement et le problème le message qui reste affiché vous devez sélectionner un plan d’abonnement même après avoir payé l’abonnement. Impossible de rédiger les annonces après paiement également et le message vous n’avez pas l’autorisation de publier d’annonces vous devez sélectionner un plan d’abonnement.

Good day. First, we (you and me) must solve the issue about the orders in WooCommerce. If WooCommerce or payment plugins do not receive payments and do not change the status of orders from “Pending payment” to “Completed”, then there is nothing to do with the theme and classified ads.

The problem is that WooCommerce, or payment plugin does not receive the response from payment servers (from PayPal server or other payment servers).

Perhaps, you should correctly setup the payment settings in your PayPal account (the account that is on the PayPal website).

At the moment, we are checking the issue with payments. Sometimes, it is better to try different payment plugins.

Je reviens vers vous concernant mon problème d’activation de fonctionnalités datebook qui ne sont pas automatiquement actionneés après le paiement . Paypal fonctionne bien car lorsqu’on fait des tests les paiements sont reçus mais les fonctionnalités ne sont pas activées.et le message vous devez sélectionner un plan d’abonnement apparaît toujours. Au niveau des annonces le message :vous ne pouvez pas passer d’annonces vous devez sélectionner un plan d’abonnement affiche pourtant l’abonnement à été payé. J’ai essayé de passer par woocommerce avec d’autres passerelles de paiement j’ai eu le même problème ou les fonctionnalités ne s’activaient pas après paiement. Du coup j’ai opté pour le mode de paiement intégré datebook ( PayPal) et la encore après paiement les fonctionnalités ne s’activaient pas.

Par la même occasion je voudrais savoir si c’est obligé d’utiliser toutes les pages et options du thèmes? Possible d’éliminer certaines pages? Et le pourcentage matchmaking ne s’affiche toujours pas . Pouvez vous régler ce problème please

Je vous contacte car je rencontre un problème avec les paiements sur mon site WordPress.

J’ai effectué un test de paiement afin de vérifier le bon fonctionnement du système. Le paiement est bien passé du côté de SumUp (visible sur mon compte SumUp), mais dans WooCommerce, la commande est restée avec le statut « en cours ». De ce fait, les fonctionnalités associées au paiement (accès, options ou activation prévues par le thème) n’ont pas été activées.

À titre d’information :

- J’utilise actuellement SumUp Payment pour WooCommerce. - J’ai également installé PayPal Payments WooCommerce, mais je n’ai pas encore testé les paiements via PayPal. - Le test de paiement a été réalisé avec un autre compte utilisateur créé spécialement pour les tests (et non le compte administrateur).

Pouvez-vous m’aider à comprendre pourquoi la commande ne passe pas au statut terminée et pourquoi les fonctionnalités ne s’activent pas après un paiement validé côté SumUp ?

Bonjour paggick , J’ai bien reçu votre message mais ,j’ai désactivé woocommerce et paypal payement. J’utilise le mode de paiement datebook intégré et lorsque j’ai fait le test la commande n’apparaît pas terminé .j’ai du activer le bouton terminé pour faire fonctionner les fonctionnalités et là encore aucune fonctionnalité n’est activé après paiement . Mais je reçois bien le paiement sur mon compte paypal. Il y’a aussi le message vous devez sélectionner un plan d’abonnement qui reste figé pourtant l’abonnement à été payé. Pareil pour la page d’annonces aucune possibilité d’y passer les annonces après paiement. Le vrai problème , la commande ne va pas automatiquement à terminé et les fonctionnalités ne s’activent pas.

Something not right with my settings

1: When you select ‘User must complete his profile before using the website’ you then can’t post a classified ad because it says you don’t have permission. This issue has been on going since I bought this plugin and you still haven’t fixed it.

2: Mobile numbers and website links when selected show on profile without subscription?

3: Images publish without approval.

4: The matching tab says ‘this profile matches you 100%’ when one profile has info and other profile has no info. Serious bug in the matching section.

After login it redirects to random profile, not home page or selected redirect page
