I am currently using the Boxcar – Automotive & Car Dealer WordPress Theme in a live project, and overall the structure is quite promising.

However, during implementation I noticed a few differences between what is shown in the documentation/demo and the actual behavior of the theme in production.

For example:

- Some mentioned features (such as Listing Print) do not appear to be available.

- Custom section labels (Description, Car Overview, Features, etc.) do not seem to reflect correctly on the frontend.

- Certain sections are displayed even when no data is entered.

- It is not immediately clear how to properly remove elements like the map or the Financing Calculator.

- Mileage unit management (miles/KM) on the vehicle detail page is not entirely intuitive.

It may simply be a configuration aspect that I am still verifying, but for clarity I have already opened a support ticket to investigate further.

Sharing this here in case it may also be relevant for other users currently evaluating or implementing the theme.

I’m contacting you because on my website once a user logs in as a dealer, the Hapus Header User Info icon disappears and it is no longer possible to access the pages in the related menu (profile, favourites, password).

In addition to the Hapus Header User Info icon disappearing, the window that allows users to edit their profile settings is also not visible; this window is currently only visible when logged in as administrators. We kindly ask you to help us resolve it.

Subscription and automatic access: Does the theme fully support subscription plans (for example, monthly or yearly packages) where a user — such as a car dealer or seller — can purchase a plan and automatically gain access to the related features (like publishing cars) once the payment is completed? In other words, is the payment and activation process completely automated, without requiring manual approval from the admin?

Monetization with Google AdSense: Does the theme support integration with Google AdSense (or similar ad systems) for displaying ads and monetizing the platform?

Layout and content spacing: Is it possible to adjust the margins or inner spacing of the content areas? I noticed in the demo that the content seems quite close to the edges, and I’d like to know if this can be adjusted from the theme options or if it would require custom code modifications.

Hello there! I’m intended in purchasing your theme for my second hand car website but I have a few questions.

I would like to add and customize new fields to appear at frontend but also appears in the Submit listing when creating new car, I suppose and additional programming will be required for the second part, it’s that correct?

Additionally, I will like to know if with the same purchase I can install locally the theme for development/staging purposes and also for production environment is it possible or should I buy two licenses? And do I need to have/buy license for Elementor Page Builder, WP CarDealer, WP Private Message and any other additional plugin included on the theme?

Hello, I have developed a custom plugin add-on for your theme, where it makes the listing packages work based on active listings, meaning that if a user removes a listing they will have that slot back in that package to post another listing. Also this package can be set to expire within the specified time when assigning it through the WP-Admin. When assigning the package, the listing limit, listing type (featured or not), package duration and package names can be set by the admin. Please let me know if you are interested in acquiring this plugin for your future developments or potential upgrades. Waiting to hear back from you.
