I wanted to ask if you’ve ever considered integrating the Stripe payment natively into your theme, as well as enabling the “Maintenance” status feature (at the theme level) with the option to insert an image and customizable text.

For the native Stripe integration, the (heavy) WooCommerce plugin would be eliminated, and in my case, the Stripe integration plugin as well. For “maintenance,” it would be another unnecessary plugin, for a total of three fewer plugins, which would streamline the process and make it easier to troubleshoot issues that always arise when integrating third-party plugins.

I activated the countries on the homepage but they are not displayed so no one can register (when they choose the country it says no country found) and if I deactivate them on the homepage it’s the same!

I’m having trouble disabling the countries on my homepage! I thought it was a cache issue, but it’s not… I’ve disabled everything in the admin panel.

PAGICK, as user MihailovRA already pointed out before me, clicking CUSTOMIZE from the backend returns an error (I tested on staging this time). The page it returns is the following:

It looks like the $instance variable in the Featured Profile widget form() method is sometimes a string instead of an array, and PHP 8.1+ throws a fatal error when accessing offsets on a string.

Could you please update the plugin/theme to make it compatible with PHP 8.1+ / 8.3 and fix this widget? For example, making sure $instance is always treated as an array before accessing offsets (e.g. using (array) $instance with wp_parse_args) would prevent this error.

Previously, the default template for regular site pages included a sidebar, footer, and header. This option is no longer available! Could you tell me how to restore this template? Please do so; I’ve already contacted you. Is it really that difficult?

Site crashed – recoverable only via full backup – I would like to know if this is normal for you.

While configuring the DateBook plugin, I changed the custom field “Gender Identity” (slug: gender) from “select” to “Button”. After saving, the site crashed with the following error:

Uncaught TypeError: implode(): Argument #1 ($array) must be of type array, string given in /datebook-variables.php:1243

After investigating, I found that:

Changing the field type did not properly save the field items (field_items_en_US, field_items_slugs, field_items_icons) in the database for the gender field.

As a result, in the file /definitions/datebook-variables.php, variables like $datebookGenderStrings remain undefined.

At line 1243, implode() tries to use them and throws a fatal error.

Solution found:

The only way to recover was to restore a full site backup from before the change, where those items were correctly saved. Manual fixes (database edits or code patches) were too complex and risky.

Request:

I’m reporting this bug because changing a field type should not delete or alter existing data. Also, a more robust error handling (e.g. if (is_array($var)) checks before implode()) would prevent crashes in similar situations.

I would also like to know if slugs should be added to the other fields as well, or only to the fields referring to the gender field?

I was able to perform the update, but I’ve noticed a few issues:

1- I want to remove some countries; I delete Algeria and deactivate Albania, but nothing happens! These countries are still listed on the homepage.

2- The pages are displaying incorrectly (only text, no images, etc.). For example: https://seules.fr/rencontre-paris/

3- My site is in French, but the homepage still shows “woman man” in the search results.

4- The country count has stopped; everything is OK, but despite numerous French registrations, my counter is stuck at 3490!

I had 12 fields in “gender identity” that were selectable in both the search form and the registration form.

Now, with the new update, only 3 appear, even though they’re present in the reference field in the backend.

When will we fix the other things, like the drop-down menu in the gender selection on the search page for those with more than two genders? The last release was January 15th, and now we’re on March 4th, and the update has been very minimal.

I wonder if you on the Pagick team know that AI now exists, helping programmers complete tasks in days that previously took months.

We could have other features or optimize the current ones to make the theme more beautiful and appealing (like the TOP profile area, which seems static and multi-line—horrible on mobile, for example). We’d also need to add a button on the same line to add the status itself…

TODAY we have AI, which is truly powerful and can really catapult us forward quickly, but I see we prefer not to use it, I think.

Is it possible to create a (Staff Panel) to manage users — such as activating, deactivating, or deleting profiles — similar to a management control panel?

This would help us avoid giving full admin dashboard access to our office staff while they are working.

Most matchmaking platforms have a separate staff panel for daily operations. It would be very helpful if our team could handle routine tasks without accessing the main Datebook dashboard.

Users cannot browse category pages properly

I tried to fix this using WordPress rewrite rules and paginate_links filters, but it does nothing, which means Datebook is generating pagination with a custom function, not WordPress native taxonomy pagination. So my question is:

Where exactly in Datebook is the pagination base URL generated for classifieds taxonomy pages?

I need to know:

The file and function responsible for building pagination links for classifiedcats

Or how to override the base URL so it keeps the taxonomy slug

Example:

From:

/ads-meetings/page/2/

To:

/annunturi-antalniri/{category-slug}/page/2/

This is critical for a dating classifieds site. Please help me
