Have installed the theme, but am having a number of issues where it isn’t able to access files. I have reuploaded the theme, and have verified the permissions settings. Still, the theme is not displaying properly and I have persistent errors such as this one:

Hi, I am VERY new to WordPress. I recently purchased a theme that showed up totally empty with very poor documentation… assuming much more WP knowledge on my part than I have. Will this theme show up already populated with sample material that I can replace or will it be blank? What sort of support documentation comes with it. Now I have one question. I made a project some time ago to lunch a new on-line magazine. Sincerely, I wanted to change the theme, but after a long time searching I did not find something to match the features of Megazine. Anyway I am thinking to buy anothre licence, but, I want to ask you something first.
Do you plan some update in the near future?Some new features like front-end login & registration, new sliders, some new shortcodes, newsletter integration, something for SEO already integrated? The theme have already, as I told before, A LOT of nice and powerfull features, but these are missing.

BTW, we’re really sorry as we don’t have any plans to add some more featured yet :/ mostly will be bugs fixed. But in the future, we might create a new magazine theme that’s has some featured that you mentioned. Right now, you may need to use external plugins first :/
(for SEO and newsletter, we’re not going to add it, even in the future too because we see that there’re many plugin that’s so powerful. It’s good enough to use those plugin )
Hello i have one question. When i edit something in custom-css, if i do a change via megazine panel like change background or change color or font all my changes there are overwritten.
How can i fix this?

You need to place the css in style.css instead or just create a child theme. Every time you save the panel, it’ll override the file style-custom.css

Is it a good solution to move css rulings into style.css and delete style-custom.css?
no no, don’t delete style-custom.css . just go to admin panel and save it again. Then it should be fine.
about style.css, yep, you may put the change at the end of style.css

Can you set featured media ? if so more than one featured image it would work as a slideshow i guess. So when i translate it to a another language does pictures gets moved to the second language post as well ?
You have to set featured image twice, this is pretty common :/
BTW, you can click duplicated post so you don’t need to set it again
Honestly I have downloaded and extensively tried about 15 themes all for different purposes, and this one is by far my favorite. It is easy to use and does everything intuitively and nicely. Thanks guys!

Pls allow me to ask a bit more before my purchase as I have been disappointed by other theme before.
1. For the rating in Megazine, does it support different sub categories rating/overall rating (like screen shot) or it is just 1 overall rating?
2. For your “Recent Post” widget, when I have one post (with 3 different translated post in WPML), will it displayed as one post (in the language the user picked) or it displayed as multiple post with all different languages listed?
3. I saw there is a “News feed” (under below the search box). Similar to question 2, will it display only one language post (in the language the user picked) ?

well, the functional of Woocommerce should be okay but you may need to customize css to suit your need. Because we haven’t created stylesheet on Woocommerce for this theme. It might look a bit awkward.

Hello, I’m using your beautiful theme with “wordpress-multisite”. I can not seem to run the TOP SLIDER TYPE with the Post-slider, the home page of my site. Works, instead, the Nivo-slider. Hello, I find your themes very great. I would like to know if this Megazine theme and too the Modernize theme can have a homepage with both sidebar ? I think the pages blog and portfolios can have two sidebars, but for the homepage, I don’t know.

2. Regarding question No.1 above, are all the feature images shown in Blog Grid 1/2 layout being cropped, or are they uncropped by default?

5. You may need to put in theme code directly. IE put it in footer.php
6. Actually you can put any as you like put if it’s overflow the container, it will go to the second line. So this is depends on how you manage it.

How do you add a drop down menu for your pages? I have six child pages for each page (about 7). I can’t figure out how to present the child pages as a drop down. In a related question, how can you make your posts in a specific page, or is that the function of categories. Sorry, new to this!
