As far it goes for me, this seems to be the best responsive out there yet. Even titles of blog entries goes smoothly when screen resolution is smaller. Very well done. Need to test and lurk more but i do believe this is all good

I love the theme. I’m hosting on Hostgator and I can’t get the contact form to send e-mails. www.mediateq.ca/ and the contact page. Any ideas why? It says success and I put my email in the PHP. Thanks!
Please check if you have a folder called “php-mailer” in the php folder, if you don’t, please download the zip file again and start to use the updated contact-form.php, let me know if it works.
Yes I have that folder. My MailChimp plugin works but contact form does not. I can’t figure it out
I just sent a test mail using your website and it says success indeed, I think you might have to contact your host provider to see what is going on.
I found it. For all HostGator users you must use this:

The id=”” must be deleted too. Only difference is we have to make it forward to a thank you page instead. Oh well. Great theme!!!

The flip circle is not working as intended for me. I have only 2 images and the flip effect works only when the image is appearing, when the image is disappearing it doesnt do the flip effect, it just disappears.

Hi, you probably are using Safari, right? The latest version of Safari seems not to work well with the “cubic-bezier” transition, so I changed to “ease-out” and it’s working now. Go to the file vendor/circle-flip-slideshow/js/jquery.flipshow.js in the line number 153 and change to easing : ‘ease-out’ – Let me know if it works for you, thanks.

Hi, did you find a solution to this? I just checked the demo again and the toggle delay still happens. Also on Android, I’ve discovered that a tapped toggle opens immediately if a neighboring toggle is tapped. Looking forward to this issue being resolved and to buying the template. Thanks! PS Does the template download include the php file for the contact form?
Sorry, couldn’t find the answer for it yet, I’ll take a look more carefully this week in order to fix that issue and let you know. About your question, yes, the template comes with the PHP files for the contact form.
Hi, Noticed that the template has been updated so I eagerly browsed to the FAQs page to discover… that it still has an issue on Android… but a different one! The toggle now opens immediately on clicking/tapping but the text flows behind the other FAQs (I’d be glad to email you a screenshot if it’d help)

Just seen your reply – thanks! I looked at the post and then browsed to the FAQ on the demo. I see the behavior has changed again. On android, upon clicking an FAQ it doesn’t expand or contract unless another point on the screen is tapped.

Problem! The contact form script is VERY insecure. It doesn’t do any sanitization of the form variables. Anyone can use a site running Porto theme to send spam by sending contact form variables that modify the email headers.
Hello, Porto template uses PHPMailer to send the emails, I think it prevent injections but I’m not sure about that, so I’ll make some tests and update Porto improving that part of the code. Thanks for the information.
Porto does not use phpmailer. It uses the mail() function in contact-form.php on line 42.
You might purchased the first version of this template, if you download it again you will see that it’s using PHPMailer, thanks!

Hi, the width of the logo area is not fixed, it’s defined in the image, so if the image has 300px you don’t have to change anything.

I think i fixed it but i have another question… when i added my api key for mailchimp to the php file. i get this error when i try to test the newsletter field… Invalid Mailchimp API Key: 5c90bf7267556af1de1e062a40060203-us4 . You are accessing the wrong datacenter – your client library may not properly support our datacenter mapping scheme.
In the file newsletter-subscribe.php you’re going to find this:
$submit_url = “http://us2.api.mailchimp.com/1.3/?method=listSubscribe”;
Replace us2 with your actual datacenter – Log into your account on Mailchimp and look at the top of your browser. The first part of the URL identifies your datacenter.. – http://status.mailchimp.com/#find-your-datacenter
