Sure, you may create a new shortcode using RokCandy or you may open the file: templates\vg_simplekey\html\com_rokcandy\default.ini and modify in line: 27 the height value (default is 350).

wich version of the quickstart are you using?

hey htmgarcia, im using quickstart v 1.2.3-RECOMMENDED.

I noticed a few things that seem to be kinda crazy, but am having good results with some $.ready() and some css tweaks.

1) the my_isotope mod seems a little broken on touch devices, (testing on android 2.3, and emulated iPhone 4/5 and iPad 2/3), obviously there is no hover, (hover links to ajax load of content DO work correctly, but non-ajax links are completely broken) and touching the images always results in opening the url in the parent window, not via ajax. Problem is, those urls don’t show the article content, as ajax does, so to the user, seems broken. idunno, but maybe one-page or no-component css class is not right?

2) recent twitter worked after i applied diff from updates folder included in quickstart package, but out of the box, is broken.

3) rokcandy/shortcodes ?? what happened? there is a “shortcodes” article but the readmore link at #shortcodes doesn’t link there, and the article in the quickstart has been stripped?!

The rokcandy button for the admin wysiwyg is almost useless w/o a better explanation of how to escape/urlencode stuff, and seems completely broken in some aspects. although properly escaped/non-escaped code has worked in most cases.

I finally resorted to getting an older quckstart version which includes an example in a “shortcodes” article of some nice, working functionality, namely tabs, toggle, skills, and buttons, but the toggle js was really completely broken, I have some changes that work that I would be glad to contribute.

I have implemented some mb_extruder menus on my dev site and have excellent results by creating a new module position and using it with a custom html module and some few additions to the scripts and css links in the head.

I am finding myself adding many hidden menu items for alias purposes, and am very confused as to why new menu items that are children of a main menu root item seem to inherit some date/time/revision info in the resultant menu item url alias.

In general, I find joomla 3.x versions to be strangely difficult to amend and manage vs joomla 1.5, =-(.

Overall, a superior template, with loads of nice features, and a mostly better responsive/mobile experience than most.

please give some advice on issues above, and if you want I will send you my proposed changes for toggle.js.

You need to update (as Twitter updated his API). Please, read download updates from ThemeForest and edit again the module of Twitter (reading previous new documentation about it)

As final thoughts, Joomla have huge potential to manage and configured a lot of aspects of a website for J3.1 version. This features are not only for our template, are part of Joomla core.

Also, Joomla provide URL in SEF mode (like: /index.php/portfolio/14-audio/11-post-example) and Non-SEF mode (like:/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=11&catid=14&Itemid=137) Both are part of Joomla.

To do this, please duplicate the Template Style in Extensions > Template Manager > vg_simplekey – Default. In the new Template Style (the duplicated one) in Advanced Options > Menu Type add a menu type name (like helpmenu). And Do the menu assigment to the Menu Items where you don’t need to display the one page modules.
