Great theme, couple errors though. Nothing that seemed to be affecting performance, missing file: > GET http://www.spiralpixelthemes.co.uk/flati/blue/js/sorting.js 404 (Not Found) portfolio_2columns.html:250
> Uncaught ReferenceError: fade is not defined portfolio_2columns.html:274
Whoops! Thanks for pointing this out, it was left in during development. You can simply remove the link for it and it won’t affect anything. I’ll make an update.
Update made
Can I build a page with this theme that extends the full width of the page on large monitors (1200px, 1600px, etc)?
I suppose you could if you know what you’re doing but this theme has been built using Bootstrap giving it a max width of 1170px.I t probably wouldn’t be worth it as it will take a lot of re-coding.
Really awesome, I love it. I did however notice that you use some code from Codrops, in particular the Timeline. As a developer myself I find it frustrating when work is used without any attribution, so I just wanted to check that you have some form of attribution in there?
Yes all credits and links are given to their specific author in the read me pdf file. Mary Lou allows usage of her scripts and the Blueprints section is specifically for that. I too find it frustrating so I understand
Hi
I have a problem with the Portfolio. When i load in the Portfolio for the first time in Firefox and Chrome then half of the image is missing and item link + item description is also missing. When i hit F5 to reload the portfolio then it all works fine. I have also testet with Internet Explorer and it works fine.

Hummm, it works fine for me me in both Firefox and Chrome. Have you optomized your images for faster loading?
Sorry that I took your time. I found out that I forgot a small piece of the script when i copied the code to my CMS system.
That’s ok, please don’t forget to give it a star rating if you have enjoyed customizing the theme.
First off, thank you for an awesome template with very well documented css, js, and html files. That rarely comes from templates I use.
But I do have an issue.
The Nerve Slider in index.html is generating a “top:-210px” from somewhere, and I cannot figure out where. It is chopping 210px off of all my pictures, and resizing them obviously doesn’t matter, because of margin widths and the screen resizing.
I figured this was to facilitate the menu bar, but can’t seem to find a reason why the menu bar is cutting it off and why this was implemented. I want the slider to display all of my images! Any help would be awesome.

I think that this is set within the js for the NerveSlider, if you are confident editing js then you could tinker with it, but this may affect your site if and when I make updates. I am sure that it is coded to its best to accommodate its responsive ability. I haven’t set any extra css for it. If it really bothers you, I would contact the creator of the plugin, link in documentation.
I have but sadly the .js is minimized so it’s almost impossible. Did you tinker with the original NerveSlider .js file at all? If not I’ll just replace it with the non-minimized version and see what I can do.
No, I haven’t.
Awesome! I’ll take a stab at it and keep you updated. Has this problem occurred with anyone else?
No, nobody
By the way, the demo doesn’t lose 210px.
Actually… every slide in the demo is. Notice the “top:-210px” on each slide image. You can also see that the original picture has 210 pixels to go on the top. Also, if you check the box model on inspect element it clearly shows it.
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/92547155/Screen%20Shot%202013-06-04%20at%2010.51.46%20AM.pngHacked at it for a little bit; it’s the js that doing it, depending if “slideImageScaleMode” is set to fill or stretch etc. I’ll just have to use different pictures or re-position the slider.
Yes you can set it to fill or stretch in the js. Take a look at the settings on the plugin author’s site.
Yeah that’s what I found out. Thanks for the help and the quick responses!
s’ok:)
Thanks for your quick response. How can I add a class to the mobile menu in order to get rid of the border radius and the gloss style that it has in order to make it square and flat?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Where I showed you in the last comment..
Great theme! Just a small question, I cant seem to find where I can style the select bar when it the menu goes mobile. I have looked everywhere. I want to remove the gradients and style it myself.
Thanks four your anticipated cooperation.
Many thanks, you can find it in theme.css > menu > main_menu select
hello author….
recently purchase your template. In the “Work” section. Under 2-columns, how is it possible for me to embed youtube/Vimeo videos? important to display videos showcase for my business.
Answered by email.
hi it is really astonished beautiful design and works! I do want to buy this … can I ask you really really simple and maybe stupid question? as a basic line…
Usually… this non-wordpress simple theme…. how the blog section… I mean blog parts gonna plan for working??
I am not the programmer… and kinda new to web field… so…
If I purchased this theme today… how can I use “blog” part ?? it is supposed to use for word press? (or even is it possible?) if I know and have enough knowledge… I can use and link to my Wordpress blog ? as a theme? (does this html theme’s “blog” parts supposed to use like that?) or.. how the major people who buy this theme use the “blog” parts without database?? just simply… use as html.. and each time contents increase… the .html page will increase????? hummm
I am kinda confused… how to use “blog” section… other parts… I got! and I know how to take advantage of this beautiful theme…
yet.. only blog parts… if you have ideas and hits… give me a line…pls
Thank you so much!! after I got an answer.. I will defiantly do buy this theme !!
The blog section are for design examples only as are all of the html themes here on ThemeForest. You would have to create your own database and then implement the design.
Any answer? If you don’t know how to solve, just let me know.
?
You have the wrong abbreviation for your language:
http://www.w3schools.com/tags/ref_language_codes.asp
That is why its messing the website up, the browser is trying to read your language to see what version it needs to give the user.
The decoding for the html charset is not even in existence I don’t think:
http://www.w3schools.com/tags/ref_charactersets.aspMost people just set it to utf-8.
Hope this helps.

But there is a sticking point in the navigation, the navigation is does not always go well, and sometimes missing or not visible. Very slow if bad connection. whether to use pure CSS3 ?
Is there a boxed style for the blog page ?
And the timeline not fully responsive for example in 320px device,
https://quirktools.com/screenfly/#u=http%3A//www.spiralpixelthemes.co.uk/flati/red/timeline.html&w=320&h=480&a=33&s=1
Btw Great Job !!!
Any website will have bad rendering if you have a poor connection. I haven’t had a problem with the navigation, it’s a script that’s used by thousands of themes. There’s two options for the blog, all of which fit with the theme’s framework. The timeline is responsive also.
Ok fine
it’s just a suggestion https://quirktools.com/screenfly/#u=http%3A//tympanus.net/Blueprints/VerticalTimeline/&w=320&h=480&a=33&s=1
Thanks for that, the media queries weren’t included when I first added it. I’ll make an update tomorrow.
Just bought this theme. The top menu has a that blue background box with the rounded corners that highlights the page your on. how would i go about removing the round corners on the blue background box. I hope that question makes sense.
theme.css > menu > .menu_wrap .nav > li.active > a, .menu_wrap .nav > li.active and remove the border-radius. Hope this helps.
Perfect, thank you!
S’ok
i LOVE this theme! i was about to buy it, but then tested it on my iphone and it’s not responsive. it’s just the regular website made really small on the iphone
Could you send me an email when this theme is responsive? I’d love to buy it! thanks!
Hi, it is responsive! It may be the ThemeForest iframe affecting it. You can see it here: http://spiralpixelthemes.co.uk/flati
Yes it IS responsive! You are correct, the ThemeForest iframe is affecting it. I opened your link above on my iphone and it works great! Thank you! And I apologize, I should’ve asked you offline before I posted the complaint. Awesome theme. I’m definitely going to buy it now! thank you
Thank you
Hi,
Its not letting me install this theme as there is no style.css (also i dont have FTP access?)
Are you trying to install on Wordpress? Is it won’t as it’s a html theme.
Hi Bud,
Can you tell me where you found the slider graphic for the page and magnifying glass icons on the http://themes.spiralpixelthemes.co.uk/?theme=Flati page please
Or did you draw it yourself, I would really love a copy but in .ai, or .psd if you have it please.
Cheers bud Rich
Sorry, which page?
On the alternative homepage bud, the green slider graphic with the yellow page and magnifying glass on
Oh I see! I can’t help you there sorry. It’s an image kindly provided by Justin Mezzell and is only available for use on the demo.
services page – can i replace the png with paragraph? next can i make our wonderful partners ( company logos) scrollable side ways?
I’m sure that you can but I haven’t included this in the theme. You could try creating a div where the png should be and add line breaks to each line. Or create a div, add your paragraph and style with css. For your logos, why not add them to the carousel?
Fonts are not displayed in the menu when viewing it from iPad.
? They do on mine…
Bought this last night for my personal project, really awesome theme, I love it!
Thanks so much.
Hi,
I just bought the theme and would appreciate it if you can walk me though on how to make the site up and running.
Thank you, Ome
I hope that you’ve got it running now?
Beautiful template. Actually, I’m customizing now but there is one question. I changed something as below <!DOCTYPE html> <html lang=”kr”> <head> <meta charset=”euc-kr”> for some reason. Then, the selection, menu, and other boxes were not aligned in center properly. Please let me know.
