1. I am still waiting for the styles “black”, “cartographer”, etc that I have requested per email.

2. I am still waiting to hear on ideas as to why the quality of my logo is bad when I cut the size to the max 158 pixel wide. I am currently using about double the size or it looks poor.

3. I have a new question regarding the full width slider and the aspect ration of the photos. You are suggesting using 1600×1200 pixels (I have shrunk all my photos to this). No matter what I do, I get heads or other parts of the photos cut off (even if I unclick center for the photos). The ipad has an aspect ration of 4:3 like your suggestion. However, many computer screens have aspect ratios of 16:9 or 16:10. It seems to me that no matter what we do, our photos will never show properly (unless it is an ipad). Is there a solution for this?

Great looking theme, with much customization possibilities!! I have a quick question on operation of the theme and setting it up before purchase.

I am assuming you would choose one portfolio view, and then upon choosing a “gallery” from the page, you would be taken to a gallery page showing the series of photos from a particular gallery.

I would like to have a few galleries, styled like the portfolio->visible titles, and then land on a page that looks like gallery->super smooth slider to showcase the resulting photos in the gallery. Does this sound possible and correct?

I am trying to get close to the Cargo site example http://www.sivanaskayo.com with of course a standalone WordPress setup.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as your theme seems to suit the bill!

I too spent 30 min looking through the admin tool and the help files looking to change the style to ‘black’ – now i learn we have to email you for this – even though it is clearly shown in the live demo?

Regardless – what do I need to do to get the black theme.

Hello. I am very interested in buying either Skylab or Heat, but I have some pre-sales questions for MegaThemes:

1. SKYLAB: The demo doesn’t say what Column Shortcodes are included. Does Skylab have the same set of Column Shortcodes as Heat? If not what types of column shortcodes are incuded with Skylab? 2. SKYLAB: Is it possible to rearrange the navigation bar so that it is horizontal in the head section, just like Heat? I am competent to edit the HTML and CSS if you can tell me what to do. 3. SKYLAB and HEAT: I am experiencing the same problem with scrolling the navigation on mobile touchscreen as reported on 28th May 2013 by your purchaser, abd7200. When I use a vertical swipe to scroll down (after tapping the Menu button), the page interprets the swipe as a TAP. This causes the nearest menu item to be opened instead of scrolling. This makes scrolling the menu impossible on a mobile. The only difference is that I am using an Android mobile. There is no fault with the phone as I am able to scroll other Retina ready themes on Themeforest, but not yours. Have this problem been resolved? If not, what do I have to do to resolve it? 4. SKYLAB and HEAT: Are there areas where widgets can be added, such as a Twitter feed? If so, where are these located and on which pages? 5. HEAT: The demo does not have an Isotope Portfolio gallery, therefore I assume that this is not included. Is it possible to add the premium plugin “Isotope Gallery” as a Portfolio Gallery. It’s available from CodeCanyon: http://riaextended.com/isotope-gallery/ 6. HEAT: Is it possible to increase the height of the “head” section? or, conversely, to lower the position of the “page” section to give the “head” more height? Is ‘yes’ in either case, can you please tell me what I will need to do?

Hi. I can’t figure out as how to display a caption within the photo. You answered a similar question way back (page 2 here in the comments) with yes and even having some styling possibilities and referred to your demo (first slide on http://demo.megathe.me/skylab/full-width-of-window-slider/ ). However, when putting in the caption via Wordpress Media > Edit media it does not appear.

I would like to ask you, where in package I can find presets as you present them in demo.

I am Interested in to use a style “Cartographer” from your demo, but I did not find it. I have tried also make it as a custom design, but I was not able to change some backgrounds and colors of text in blog, headlines etc…

I presume, that I need to use custom CCS, however I can not write a code and I do not understand programing and code. I would appreciate to use “Cartographer” style from your demo.

hi – i would like to use the portfolio categories to sort my portfolios into different indexes, with the categories as sub-menu items in the main navigation. i was able to get the main index of portfolios into my navigation by creating a page and setting its template as ‘portfolio’. how can i create sub-pages with portfolios indexed by category?

when i click “add to gallery” using the page gallery metabox nothing happens. I am using this as a company intranet site, could this be a permissions issue?

Hi! I seem to be having a similar issue that morganica is having.

However, that is only part of the picture. The actual full picture looks like this:

As you can see, part of the picture is being lost.

Is there a specific size/aspect ratio that we should use to get the entire picture into the slider?

Hello. Purchased and very much like your theme but have a couple of questions:

I’m using full-wdth galleries and the galleries list to display my images, but having trouble finding the right size photo to display. Is there a way to get the images to automatically scale to the correct height?

I notice I can do that in other image displays but i can’t find the commands to do it with full-width gallery. Any help you can offer would be most appreciated.

I can’t quite understand where my message went that I posted a couple of days ago. I had also sent you an email through the Maga Theme page that had the same information and that not not been answered as well. I had sent my log in information for my site per your request several days ago where you said you would log on and help me. Not sure what has happened but I am trying one more time…

I am having issues with: 1. Contact page-does not look right, shows the code versus how your page looks. I have followed the directions on the documentation precisely several times. However, I have no idea how to fix this. 2. I have never received the style sheet that I have requested. 3. I have pasted the code you provided to make the fonts look bigger but it did nothing. (I see comments from others that perhaps the CSS is being overridden?) 4. I see the baby blue square on the smooth slider like someone else mentioned and want to change the color to white to match my BK color so you can’t see it. I did not see a response on that question so please let me know what to do. 5. I have tried to shrink my logo to the 158 pixel max for the width that you recommend and the quality of the image becomes poor. I set it larger and it looks better. Is this a problem as you keep mentioning a maximum? 6. I have been having terrible issues with the social plug in. I have installed and reinstalled several times and reread the documentation provided (which is not detailed enough for this). I have emailed you and you said you could not see the plugin. I have checked and double checked and I certainly see the plugin and shows activated. In your documentation you say “Once installed, navigate to the plugin settings page (Settings > AddThis Share) and choose “Custom button” radio button. Then add these lines of code to the textarea under “Custom button” radio button: Share”. I can’t find the custom area to add this. Please help me by log in to mysite (I have provided the url, username, and password several times via email) and fixing this for me.
