Hello. Great theme. I just have a quick question. 1. What is the shortcode to embed one recipe into a blog post. I see there is a list shortcode but I just want to embed one recipe.

Seems that the shortcode will still show a list of recipes. Is there a shortcode or way that I can show just one specific recipe?
its strange, i try on demo site and its working just display 1 recipe, for specific recipe sorry we don’t provide that shorcode.
Is there any way you can include that shortcode in the next update. I’m pretty sure a lot of people are going to want the ability to show one specific recipe on a page.

What kind of slider do you use? revolution slider or flexislider?
Just the regular slider. Did not install Revolution slider.

Sure. I think I just need to know how to get the last 3 blog posts in like you did on the bottom of version 2 and how to get different recipe categories to feed into another row. I’ve got my short codes in, just not sure how to get the rest done. Thanks for your great assistance!

Hi, Just wondering what is the best size to make the logo/header so that it goes all the way across the top of the page? And how do I reduce the padding around it? I’ve uploaded a logo at 1001 px x 209. It does go all the way across but even when I reduce the padding to: /* 2.3 Header */ #header { padding: 0px 0 0px; by adding that to the custom CSS It still has white around it on the top and sides (it did create a smaller border once I set it to 0, but it is still there). I would like the logo to just fill the top of the page without a border. Thanks for this wonderful theme!

you can look at your custom.css I put some code in it, to go there go to your admin panel -> themes -> editor -> select dropdown to your theme -> scroll to down until you find custom.css. yes it will stay groovy as long as the image width more than 960 it will be fine, your welcome.

Go to your admin panel -> contact pages on -> Maps, and insert some Map Callout Text.

Like your theme very much. How difficult would it be for me to customize it if I wanted to create another page and User Submission form that is similar to what you have for Recipe Submissions, but tailor it for a restaurant listing description (i.e. description, location, photos, videos etc.) I would use both of them on my website. If not, I can probably create it manually, but I would like to have the end user submit the data.

that possible many tutorial are open on the net, the difficulty on eg: post type, taxonomy, and submit and unfortunately you can do it manually.

maybe you want to create 4 teaser image recipe and linking to categories eg: recipe type categories . that possible in this theme

absolutely yes that bar can be hidden or you just dont install woocommerce until your store is ready

header logo can be positioned to the left and banner ads on right is automatic that feature can be found on theme options

We are in the process of translating this theme in to swedish, but for some reason we can’t find the .po file to edit. Could you please point us in the right direction?
Also, when we change the bg color in ” General Styling” nothing happens. We want to be able to change the bg color of the entire page without using boxed layout.

you can’t find .po because we didn’t provide for this theme but you can create folder “lang” on theme folder.
unfortunately “bgcolor” only works on boxed-layout.. but you can change on custom css

In my understanding you have to create a .po file for the theme to translate it. The link that you enclose above talks about translating Wordpress and not the theme. I’ve read several developer tips how to create a .pot file, but i’m afraid my experience is limited in this area.
Will you provide .po files in the future? Do you know of anyone that can help us if we pay? We really need the all the functions in the recipes to be in swedish.

Yes, we’re sorry for missing information on documentation, we will update our documentation. to use revolution slider you can just go to your pages -> your pages. scroll to bottom until you found revolution slider drop down and use slider that you want.
I still have issues about the homepage? I want to make it look like in your demo (default) where the all recipes and blog are columned. There’s no guidance on the documentation.

remember for homepage you need to change to template “homepage” on edit page and use shortcode for recipe grid and blog
Revolution slider is not working for me. Im using your theme’s default sliders, can I know what size should I use? Because my images always get enlarged thus the image getting blur.

I want to make this theme to a cafe/restaurant website. How can I disable the wooCommerce and create other custom pages other than recipes and blog? Such as menu, products, classes. But I will use the wooCommerce in the future because we will expand the restaurant with online order and delivery service.
