hi thanks for putting out 1.1. There is a problem though. Instead of listing jobs from most recent to oldest, it is posting oldest first. How can I fix that. Before it was posting most recent > older
We will fix this issue ASAP. The resume sorting will be the same in printing and site version (from most recent job to the older.)
So, I tried to modify line 30 in template-blog.php file to switch the name position around, but it didn’t seem to work.

So, in the right section of profile will be displayed your firstname than lastname.
Excellent! That worked. I was also wondering about the last update 1.1. Did you change the version # in the style-sheet or do I need to just look at the modified date of the files? Just wanted to make sure I installed the latest version. Thanks for all your help and development on an amazing theme.

In Shift CV, version 1.1 we have added:
1. An option to add a result link in the Portfolio post, or add video
2. An option for a user to add the title for each secton on homepage
3. Translation files
4. The support for hieroglyphs is improved
5. An option to create posts in Resume section without indicating the period
6. An option to choose the sidebar and its location (left or right) for each of the categories and its posts
7. We have fixed a few not very significant erorrs in the theme options as well
When creating or editing the post in Portfolio section, you can add the link to the video or the results of your work in the field “Portfolio link url”.
If you added the link to the video, when clicking on the image in the Porfolio section, lightbox that plays the video is opening.
In the section Section titles, in Theme Options, you yourself can edit the titles of the sections on homepage. On the page of category’s edition or creation, you can choose the sidebar and its location (right or left). This option will be applied for category page. There you will also be able to select corresponding options for the category’s posts as well.
PLease, update the archive with the theme.

Hi, really nice and webfriendly theme. I dowloaded it today and changed the language. But, i cannot find how to change the language in Contacts. “lets keep in touch” address etc etc. Thanks for your support! Kind regards Saskia
Thanks! We will fix this ASAP. Please, change the title manualy, open template-resume.php and in line 343 (version 1.1) change the text ‘Lets keep in touch’, in such way you can edit all titles from contact section (line 318, 321, 324, 327, 330)
Okay, i will change it. A very very stupif question..probably. But I installed 1.0 yesterdag. Do i need to download and reinstall the CV theme for 1.1? I cannot find an update button in themes of Wordpress. I dowloaded it again, but i get 1.0 version. So what am I overlooking? Or am I thinking to complicated? thanks regards, Saskia saskiaweijman.nl
Version 1.1.1 is available! In this version transalation issue was fixed, so download it, unzip and replace files in the folder with your theme. To be sure the site content will not be lost, export it using admin panel before replacement.

2 questions: 1. When you add updated Theme, can I upgrade through Wordpress, or do I need to reinstall/back-up content? 2. My last name is long, 13 characters, and on the website via web browser, it cuts off the last letter of my last name. How do I extend the viewing of the last name next to the profile picture? 1. You do not need to reinstall the content, but if You are afraid of something goes wrong, open Tools in Admin panel and export the content using export function, so you will have a backup of your site content. 2. Go to Theme Options/Editor, serch for ‘h1#profile_title’ and font size to 23px, so the whole your last name will be visible. We will fix the issue in the next release.

Just bought this for my site www.omondi.co.ke, however i am having a difficulty breaking text in posts into small chunks of paragraphs… please assist… awesome temp though… especially on Retina iPad and Macbook.
Please add to the and of style.css file ‘article .text p {margin-bottom: 15px;}’ it will make dividing the text into paragraphs much easier.
Looks nice! Is this theme suitable for team blogging? I can’t imagine how it could handle multiple users’ profile pages link and brief profile head message on the blog page in each user’s post. If you could, please show me up in your live demo.

Is it possible to replce the font with one that support Cyrillic – like OpenSans or Ubuntu (Google fonts)? Also, I’d like the subcategories in theportfolio to be like on the home page (thumbnails), instead of looking like a blog. Thanks! Yes, it is possible, you should go to file functions.php and edit line 173. For portfolio subcategory sorting we are using isotope gallery and its modification is not available.

In version 1.1 open functions.php and in line 208 ‘wp_enqueue_style(‘lato’, ‘http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Lato:400,700', false);’ change the font.
Change it to: wp_enqueue_style (‘open sans’, ‘http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Open+Sans:400, 700’, false); but nothing changes. Lest I need to change something in the css file, or to download font.

Yes, you can. Go to Appearance/Editor in your admin panel, search for h3.category_title and enter hex code of the color you wont near the word background.

Sorry for all the questions. But on the right side of the profile where it has name – birthdate, etc. The name is listed Last Name then First Name. Is there way way to list it First Name then Last Name?

Thanks for all the help. I have another question. Can I change the portfolio label to something else other than PORTFOLIO. Also I would like to be able to add hobbies and interests in the resume but it doesn’t make sense to have a date associated with that and I can’t figure out how to create a resume category without the date criteria. I would like to make a resume category Hobbies and Interests. Is that possible without the date?
Yes, you can! Just open template-resume.php and in the end of the row 212 change the word portfolio to the lable you wont. Unfortunaly, there is no ability to create portfolio item without date associated, we will meet your wish in the next release. As for now you can add hobbies and interests to the profile section of your resume (Theme options/Profile/Description)
Wowza! This is unlike any theme I have ever seen. Wonderful job. I have one question before purchase. I am doing a site for my daughter and she wanted to know if you can put (embed) video (youtube) in the Portfolio section? I saw the video in the Blog section, but not the Portfolio section. Unfortunaly, the option to put video using URL (youtube, vimeo) is available only on blog page.
