I want to have 5 different Archive Blogs on navigation menu. Every one has different content, different posts, but opens in the same window.

Example. One is Cars, the other is Horses. And when You click on the horses Blog Archive opens where are all the Horses Posts but not the Car posts

You should edit php.ini on your server, this is your servier problem, not the theme problem, so php.ini is not included in theme folder, do you understand? All that you should do is just enable function mb_strlen(), if you don’t know how to do that, you can ask your hosting provider, they should provide your support for your server.

First of all, If you want to show a certain page content on front page, you must add it to navigation with page type, but I found you have add the portfolio link with custom link. Check attachment.

And the important is I found you want to display a certain portfolio content on the front page?? That’s impossible, you can only display the page content on the front page.

1. I have added this font, Download this file http://d.pr/f/G4Dv, upzip it and upload the van-options.php file to “vanPanel” folder which is in the “simplekey” directory, override the old file.

2. That’s because [soundclound] shortcode is not intergrated in the simplekey theme, I will think about add this shortcode.

That looks perfect, but when I shrink the page, the font actually gets larger. Is there are a ways to avoid that?

The font size option is only for the desktop version, so you should also change the font size for iPad, for example, put the following CSS into “Simplekey options > Additionals > Addtional code”

You can replace the font size value to your own value, you can use em or px.

You can change the permission with FLASHXP software, just click the right key of your mouse, you will see the property or permission item, just click it, then change it.

Or use SSH command to change the permission. Acutally, you can search it on google, it’s a basic knowledge, I think there are many answers.

Just as a hopefully productive comment:

I think the background image should be addressed sooner or differently in the documentation. Most users are going to try and address this in the Homepage settings or in the general theme settings, and wouldnt have looked in the slider initially. The homepage also offers options for customised background – maybe I dont understand that difference from the landing page and the homepage?

In my experience with WP themes sliders are created; then are an option to be added in a “page” ie:fixed image, set featured image or use slider. I also felt the notes next to the “add your background image http://xxx.com/bg.jpg" threw me, as usually you have the option of selecting a image directly from your media library instead you need the url path, and I used the wrong one (permalink- then attachment # from media library) and neither worked so I thought it needed a externally hosted path.- but again- I was trying to customise the background image in the Homepage, when all you need to do is address it in the slider area. All in all I bounced around trying to change this background image for about 3 hours.

Possibly because this is a one page theme it just works differently? It took a while for me to really figure out that the entire background image of the landing page (#top) is the slider.

The retina js is only for the images which you have inserted into the content, not include the CSS background image.

For CSS background image, you should add the 2x image with CSS, for example,
