My experience is the opposite of mauricehason. The template is responsive in web version of gmail, and gmail app on both iOS and Android. But it is not responsive in the native iOS mail app.
Note that version of iOS/Android/Gmail now must be quite different from a year ago.
The problem in displaying properly in IOS mail app (iOS 7 and
is quite serious for me, and I’m trying to troubleshoot it.
The design is nice, though I purchased this template for functionality (save my developer time of coding) because we already have a great design for our emails, and there are many responsiveness problems.
Works great on iPhone Mail, but this is as far as it goes in terms of responsive. It is not responsive in the GMail app, neither on iPhone or Android.
Tried also to check my Gmail with Safari on iPhone and with the default Android browser + Dolphin. No responsiveness on these either.
I suspect the reason for this is because all the responsive CSS code resides in the head section and not as inline styles. iPhone Mail knows how to deal with this but other apps and browsers don’t.
I think you should be aware of these issues and provide an updated version of your template that works cross-platform and cross-browser. Cross-browser/platform compatibility is very important, especially for emails that are seen on so many devices and apps.
