Thanks for quick replay and no i didn’t add any module . I am just trying to define “permission” for user and administrator then suddenly it happened. My forum is a new forum so i have nothing to loss( except 2 hours work ) , i am going to reinstall the phpbb again,

I’ve one mor issue, there is no UTF-8 compatibility within the prefooter-blocks.html. If i post for german language ü/ö/ä and so on (in the right container), i’ve receive only ”?”. other parts of the page are ok.

One question: which parts within the CSS i have to change, that the sidebar will be a width of 300px instead of 252px? if i change it in the css files by the sidebar infos, the sidebar not change his width?

hi, i resolved the problem by myself, so you do not have any task by this question, i’ve not changed the sizes by the responsive grid css.

On the index page (I have renamed it), in the sub header menu, the icons show up even when I am working on a big screen. So I have the 5 icons and the text link appearing at the same time for each elements of the list.

I am using firefox mozilla and I am working on my pc (local)
At the begining when I installed the style on my web site everything was running good. Then I have created new pages (with new sidebars and 2 different overall_header) and rename the original index.php in forum.php. One of the new pages has been renamned in index.php.
I do not understand because I am working on the new pages which use overall_header2 
I checked with IE and chrome, and that is working ! What is going on with mozilla ?

I’m experimenting with a slider feature in the header instead of the logo, so multiple slides feature content with in the forum etc.
I’ve got it work successfully, the only problem I’m finding is on the tablet/iPads/phone versions. Because I’m having to define a width to the slides, it is not condensing properly when the tablets/iPhones switch from landscape to portrait, so the header extends out whilst everything else condenses.
My question is, can be be done so everything condenses correctly which ever way it is viewed? Or is it something that can’t be done? Are there specific rules that shouldn’t be messed with?
I personally only use a Desktop which works, but know others will use the new fangled pads and phones, so would be nice to have it working everywhere.
I am learning this as I go along, probably will Get there eventually, but thought I’d check Incase it’s futile.
Any help would be grateful.

Yes, the width of the main block is depending on the browser window width (so it’s responsive). You can find all the rules in the responsive.css template of your theme. Just add your slider width inside rules like this -
@media only screen and (min-width: 960px) and (max-width: 1199px) {
...
}
Is there a way to change topic icon?
Nevermind, it was a problem with the settings.
I noticed that on an iPad 3 it is not using the theme icons for Bold, italic, underline etc when creating or editing a new post, same goes for save draft, preview and submit buttons. Everything else looks Metro like.
I have login details for a new site I am testing this on if you wish to take a look. Brand new 3.0.11 install with Metro blue theme.
I see the same behavior on an iPad mini and an iPhone 5. This theme was installed using instructions provided. Even the login button on the login window when creating a new post on the iPhone 5 does not use the Metro theme. Both are using safari browser.

Hello, I just installed and added your theme to my forum, www.prestoforums.com. I didn’t make it default and only made it an option for myself to test. After working for two minutes or so, the forum began to experience an error: “Error 508. Resource Limit Is Reached.” Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As far as I understand you just exceeded the resources assigned to your host. So you should contact your hosting provider to solve it.
I’m talking to them right now, and they said “As I can see the new theme you have installed is causing great resource usage in your account. I would suggest you disabling this theme.” The number of entry processes (PHP scripts running simultaneously) became too high (20 processes) when I started using Metro Blue. Do you have any idea why your theme may have caused this?
They’re talking nonsense. The theme is build upon the default vBulletin 4 theme. It doesn’t add any additional queries and doesn’t have any php-code inside it that can start any additional processes. Your problem has nothing to do with the Metro theme. I think you should just change your hosting provider.
By the way, vBulletin is not a light forum engine, it can easily cause server overload on light hosting plans. So you you should consider buying a better hosting plan.
First off, we’re using this theme for phpBB, not vBulletin. I’m testing it again now, and, while it works initially, after some time after clicking on any post, the number of PHP processes gradually increases until it reaches the limit (20 for us) and crashes the site. This issue never occurred with the default phpBB theme (prosilver) and only started occurring when we installed Metro Blue, so it seems fairly clear that there is some issue with this theme that suddenly causes PHP scripts to begin executing uncontrollably.

Sorry, I didn’t notice the version. But in this case the theme cannot be the reason at all. Because it doesn’t have any modification inside it except css- and html-changes and a piece of js-code for the login-popup. phpBB themes – are just piece of plain html and css, so if you didn’t add any mods to the theme it must work as the default one.
I’m not sure why this issue is only occurring for us and not for any of your other customers, but the theme is clearly unusable for us. Given this, I would like to request a refund.

No, the font size is similar in all the modern browsers. It seems you decreased font size in Firefox. Try to press ‘Ctrl+0’ on your keyboared

As I said, we are having problems to make the prefooter blocks appear. We’ve followed the documentation about it (adding the line of code just under another and completing/removing the column info and social links) but they just don’t appear, even after having refreshed the FTP files multiple times.

Just wanted to praise you guys on your excellent theme and top notch customer support. You guys are a great group!
Now, of course I have a question.
How can I remove the minimized icon for the “FAQ” and “Members” blocks when the them is reduced in size from window scaling? The white square icon/link overlaps my banner and I would rather just not have it displayed.
Ideally, I would like it to move down to the “view forum” menu area but that’s not a necessity.
