I`m about to purchase this very nice theme for my photography.
I have three questions:
1. Can the square on the bottom on HOME page be hidden?
2. When I click on Portfolio and then on circle, can I have subcategories?
(For example Portfolio – People – another circle with Portrait, Kids etc)
3. When I open above circle can I have full width without sidebar?

- The text area is displayed only if text is inputted – so you’ll be able to hide the box, yes
- There is no built in support for that, but you can create those pages manually if necessary
- Full-width layout can be selected and a slider will display instead of the current images displayed one after another

some short questions about SEO and seo-friendly URLs. My self defined permalink structure is: /blog/category/postname.html So each portfolio item gets the URL: /blog/portfolio-items/my-item- Is it possible to eliminate /blog/ in URL, without changing permalink structure?
- My portfolio-item is in a category called “categoryXYZ”. To my mind a nice URL for this item would be: /portfolio/categoryXYZ/my-item instead of /portfolio-items/my-item because the overview for the items is the URL /portfolio/ and not /portfolio-items. How can I get this?

Hi, you can use a rewrite plugin to remove/modify WordPress URL structure – this is not exactly theme specific.
Thank you. What is my advantage to appropriate a portfolio-item to a portfolio-category? When I look at the demo (http://themes.liviucerchez.com/modelish/portfolio/) the overview shows all items. In the URL I can’t find the category as well. So what is my benefit for that?

Hi, there is no category display for portfolio posts, only for simple blog posts. The comment form can be enabled/disabled from admin panel – it is a WordPress standard feature. Edit the page and uncheck the comments checkbox in the discussion section.

Hi, you can set the homepage to either be a video or a supersized gallery – the theme supports only one of those options currently. You can make the setting in the Theme Options > Home Page Homepage Type.

Hi, there is no support for listing portfolio items this way. You can create multiple portfolio pages with unique categories for each one though.

Hello, thank you for your purchase and for contacting me. The theme does not support filterable portfolios – but you can have multiple portfolio pages, each one having it’s own “base category” – use the Additional Properties in each page that has the portfolio template selected. You can add the share widget from the Theme Options > Portfolio or Journal sections – just paste a snippet like this in the Extra Information box to get started: http://d.pr/n/Mk3h

The categories of the post are the same portfolio? When you access the journal appears categories of portfolio. Its does not appear?
The date can be hidden with the option in the Portfolio Page section of the Theme Options. The categories are WordPress based and not portfolio specific – if they show up in any sidebar widget this is because they are WP categories as well

I’m still having a few issues; 1) I can’t get the detailed page options to show up on the homepage 2) My accordion widget seems to start fully open rather then nicely shut 3) Feature-wise, is there anyway to have staff member profiles be featured on different pages or to edit the contact other default/template pages to display other shortcodes or other theme features?

Please set the homepage type in the Theme Options – you have a select box to choose from. Remove the opened parameter on the accordion to make all the items collapsed by default. Currently there is no shortcode for displaying staff members in other pages then the template provided for such matter. The contact page supports additional information text with shortcodes – use the Theme Options to manage it.

I emailed you via contact form 5 or 6 days ago and haven’t heard back; I had a few other questions.
1) I can’t seem to remove the clients portion from the homepage no matter what I do (delete all slides, turn off the client section etc.) any ideas here? 2) I have installed a job manager plugin and it displays the job posting in the testimonials widget, is there any way to fix this? 3) Is there any way to get the map to display full width and only 300 or 350px height—the map plugin doesn’t seem to allow this no matter how much I customize it, it either displays across the entire screen or not at all. 4) I seem unable to get the the dropcaps to display the colored format.

Hi, the menu is configurable of course – you can remove the social link from the right side and have more space for as many menu items it will fit in.

The answer is yes to both questions, the theme supports the built-in WordPress [gallery] feature extending each image in a lightbox. It also has options to rewrite all the custom post URLs, including the portfolio-items segment.

I am having difficulties with the installation of your theme. Once installed, all I see is blank page with some general text. I have gone into your settings panel and tried setting everything up… but no luck. I have tried deleting and re-installing the theme several times. Plus, I have tried the theme with no plugins and an updated wordpress platform. I called my hosting server to see if there is something wrong on their end, but they did not see any glaring errors. Nothing is working as of yet. Please help.

The theme has options to change only the base color, links color and background color for the page – no option to turn the whole theme dark (without using Custom CSS).

Media Library does not work properly.
Hi, I have an issue with the media library. A) It does not display any images and 
it will cause problems when I try to set a featured image for a blog post.
I deactivated/deleted all plugins. That was not the issue. The Media Library works fine with the Twenty Twelve theme. Could you please advise?
P.S. I also have problems with opening Screen Options at the top of the page and switching to Visual in the post editor.

Hi, I purchased your theme earlier this month. I’m having an issue with the menu, for some reason after I create a menu then populate it with links it doesn’t use the theme parameters. The links will appear as blue text on the home page on the left sidebar. Is this an theme upload error? or maybe something else?
