Hello again, I’ve installed template, but is very confusing the way it was created. I can’t see in the admin view any widget to modify the slideshow. My clients aren’t going to edit the code. Also, I can’t see the widgets in the lower part and on both sides of the first page. In demo, it has blocks with categories, recent views, best sellers, etc. What can I do?
Extract main Mj_Simple_ecommerce_package zip file and find Help Section folder and open Installation_Guide.
Read installation guide and after then install theme step by step.

Best slider image dimension minimum 1000px x 650px. Wordpress will generate other mage dimensions programatically.
For the slider, how can we remove the “Shop Now” and “Special Pricing Button”? In another word, I just wanna show the Product Name, Description, and the image on the slider. Thanks.

From Wp-admin->themeeditor locate home.php and if you want to remove “Shop Now” and “Special Pricing Button” then remove code line No 31 to 33.I read in a previous post that another user had an issue with this. Yet I am curious if a newer version of this plugin has corrected the issue. At the moment I had to revert back to the Option Tree plugin Version 2.0.16 in order for it to work.
When I go to Appearance > Theme Options and change/update the settings, then click Save, it will save the new information in all three tabs (General, Footer settings, and Woocommerce), yet it won’t show the changes on the Live View of the Website.
It also wont change the color of the background either.
Any idea on how I may be able to correct this? Thanks.
Please Check the latest version released today. We have added condition for option tree plugin so when it is not activated the custom function should will not be called up.

We are not providing any images with template. The images only appears in demo.
You can upload your own product images for the product in sample data.

How can I fix this? I’m lost on how to fix it.

Ok, I have been making progress on the dev site inparkgate.co.uk
a) Ecwid has been connected ok and got it showing in the store page
b) I have managed to change the site title via customise.php
However…
c) No other option in OptionTree will saved, ie the number is still 99999, I can’t change the tagline, colours, I have uploaded a test header image, no idea where that shows…
d) How do I edit/remove the 3 column footer – Navigation – Get In Touch etc
e) I can’t see how the left hand side sidebar menu is controlled at http://inparkgate.co.uk/about-us/

Thanks for getting back to me, but I am afraid for a $55 premium plugin just telling me to roll back option tree, with no link to help is not good enough. I have located 1.1.8.1 of the plugin and installed, but all options are empty. Surely everyone must be experiencing it, and doesnt it render the theme impossible to customise?

Just installed the theme on a fresh install, wp3.6, all plugins disabled, click activate and I get a black bar, fatal error, call to undefined function qtrans_getLanguage() ...../MJ-Simple_theme/header.php on line 72…and I was following the simple installation guide..

You mean you want to change the color and you are not able to do that? What color you are trying to set?

I updated the option tree plugin to the latest version and now some of the changes that are visible in the theme options are not visible on the front end. eg. the favicon has been set and after update your favicon and footer note is visible and not the one I changed it to earlier.

I do not think that is good enough. Your theme is dependent on Optiontree, so if there is an issue with Optiontree then obviously it is going to impact my website. Can you help me with this or even provide me with the older compatible version of Optiontree?! thanks

Hi, I have reverted back to the previous theme version for now. However the main issue I still have is that sometimes the products in the featured and latest products on homepage, they become disorganised. As I have mentioned in a previous comment above.
So I just checked your demo version on themeforest, and you have the same issue on the live demo version. So I t is not an issue with my images etc. I have taken screenshots and can send them to you to verify that the issue is also present on your demo.

I am hoping you have a fix for this issue today because the website looks really bad with big gaps between products. The images are the same size so that is not the issue. Also your demo has the same issue.

I have uploaded some screenshots of your current demo, as you can see the products are not aligned correctly. Sometimes they are and sometimes they are not. So the issue is not just with my site but also your demo site, and maybe everyone else who has purchased aswel.

I am using ECWID as the shopping cart. However, there is no documentation on how to implement this. I want to know how I can put products from ECWID into the home page’s slider.

Thanks for being our valuable client.
You can go to admin side and open “Product” Menu and click on “add Product” menuitem.
Once you are done adding product details, Check mark right side ” Product categories” in “slideshow” category. Once you add couple of more product this way you will be able to see slideshow.
Ideal way to use this theme is to setup home page and menu using Wordpress and All product pages should be managed by Ecwid.

Randomly sometimes, some of the products in the featured products homepage tab, they move two or three rows down from the rest of products. Then when I refresh the page the problem goes away. What is the fix for this?

That is not he question I am asking you.
The question is:
On the website sometimes the bottom products in featured products leave a very big gap between the top product and the one below. Then when I click refresh the problem is fixed sometimes and not other times. If you provide me with your email I will send you screen shots of what is happening.

The slider on this page appears static to me. By static I mean it doesn’t switch automatically the images, it’s necessary to click on the arrows to switch them. Do you have an automatic slider example?

Background of the slider image is width:271 and height 270.
If you want to change image of the slider , change the mj-template.css in the CSS folder line no 330 and line no 55 and also put the image in the image folder.

I can not find a way to add the “products” on the home page, under “featured”.
How can I do?
1) Go to the admin side and click on the Add product tab.
2) Add the new product and its detail
3) Go to the product tab and click on the “star” button of the particular products.
4) After that you will see the featured product on the home page.

in the product detail screen, if i click on the picture it will open “full image” on the same window, how can i do to open in a new tab? is there any option?

It does open up the image in pop window only. It may open up the image in same windows if the page has not finished loading up.
Can you choose to not show a specific category; such as the slideshow category under the products category in the left sidebar? If so, how do I do that?
