hi there, just to confirm. when the home page is set to resume, there’s no tab for the blog.

First off, excellent theme! I have a few questions as I am setting things up.
1) Can the social icons be changed to SVG files? I have a set of icons that a web designer friend made for me and I’d love to use them. Here is an example: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/390016/rss.svg.

How do I make it to where blog articles aren’t fully shown on the index page? I mean.. how do I make them “read more” from the /blog page?
If you want only a part of the text to be displayed on the blog stream page, you need to add Read More buttom when creating the post. To learn more how to do it, read here http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/more-tag/
I gave you the last days my credentials to fix something. There must be something changed because I can’t add a link to images in my Post. So the link function is not working any longer. Could you fix this issue please? It’s quite necessary for me and it is not my fault.
To create links you need to use WP editor where you can find standard means to do this. Please, use them and you should get the result you want.
Hallo alpf0000, ist es möglich eine weitere Seite wie “Resume” einzubinden, das man dort Inhalte hinterlegen kann. Quasi einen neuen Akkordion / Section mit Icon und dem Effekt.
Momentan ist es ja leider auf 3 bzw. 4 Akkordions / Sections beschränkt. Kann man in den Functions weitere Akkordions manuell hinzufügen?

The custom post formats “gallery” and “image” seems not to be responsive on Android mobile phone and if resize the browser window. Is there a way to get them responsive?
The “gallery” post format was an caching problem – solved! The “image” shortcode dosn’t resize the image on small browser windows and on firefox for android.

Hello, first and foremost, this is an awesome theme, I so love it. Very easy to install and setup. My question. I recently purchased the All Grounds, background plugin because I would like to freshen up my site from time to time by being able to change the background (using video or static background images).
However, when went back to view your demo (located here on themeforest) I noticed that there was a feature that allowed you to change the background. Is that feature a part of this theme? If so, how do I activate it? If it is not, how can I purchase or download that plugin to change up our backgrounds? Please advise and again, thank you for this wonderful theme.
I would also like to recommend a feature for future upgrade – the ability to showcase video in the portfolio section.
Hi, thank you so much for your kind words. You can choose any background (image or color) in Appearance->Background. This option was available from the very beginning, we only added demo-panel so that our customers could check our its visual effect.
If you specify video url in the field “Portfolio link url” when creating the post – clicking on the image in Portfolio section will provoke the video playback in Lightbox

I found the function with “read more”. But when I click on it nothing happens. “Read more” doesn’t open the full article in a new window… instead it links back to the main blog. Does anyone know how to do that?
@imagenow to point 4) you have to open a new post and then two opportunities. create a “visual” or a “text” post. If you chose “text” you have to write ‘more’ http://gyazo.com/b0e4b475aee56e077a5bd4725ade2ec3 . If you chose “visual” you have to click on the icon right to “link”. Hope that helped you?!

Hi. Just bought the theme. I’ve the same problem as many and some questions: 1) need a fix for all posts that have date set to 1.jan 2) how can I change the icons (blog, profile…) 3) how can I get rid of the multicolor line on the header 4) how can I show excerpt on blogs and read more, instead of full article 5) is this theme using MENU feature at all? how can I manage different sections? (via widget?) 6) featured post images are cropped… do I have to replace them all?

1. This issue is not replicated during theme testing, please verify that wp date options are set correct (date and time formats, timezone).
2. In single.php file in line 19 replace user-icon with any icon from the list http://fortawesome.github.io/Font-Awesome/icons/ and please do the same in template-blog.php. Proceen to the template-resume.php and in line 26 change icon-pencil.
4. Please follow the instructions, that were provided by Cosmorist
5. The theme does not support menu.

I need to confirm something, the symbol for the blog, can I add “blog” as a text with that symbol. because I think that the pen symbol isn’t really enough to indicate that there is a blog on the site. If that’s possible I’d really love to get this theme.

I have set up my “professional” resume homepage the way I want it and I looks great. I just have 2 questions about editing/customization of the Blog part of the site.
1. Is it possible to change the name of the “blog” button to “Personal” and make the button open like the “profile” button is when accessed?
2. This might not the praise you want, but I feel that the blog page is a bit dull and not that elegant to look at. Considering things like: lines, thumbnails, post layouts. Summary’s. Anyway to edit or customize this?

Hi! The option to change blog title will be included into release today. About the 2nd question – it seems to be a total blog section redisign and can not be implemented now. Sorry for that.
