Hello Vasterad,
I’ve a minor problem with the comments on the blog page. When a comment is quite short (contains only a view words) the text is moving to the left under the avatar image. To recreate the issue please open the file blog_post.html and cut some words from the sample text on line 227 like the following:<div class="comment-by"><strong>Kathy Brown</strong><span class="reply"><span style="color:#aaa">/ </span><a href="#">Reply</a></span><span class="date">August 12, 2012</span></div><p>Curabitur lacinia neque non metus</p>
How can I solve that?
Hi, download update of Centum and replace comments section in style.css.
Thanks for the response. I’ve downloaded the Theme today. There seems to be no difference within the files. The quick test in the file blog_post.html mentioned above (shorten the text within a comment) fails as well. Did I miss something?
Are you sure you tested that on fresh and default files from ThemeForest? I fixed it in update as I remember.
Just did another download and test. After extracting the files show “17.07.2013” as date stamp. Problem still there. The same for the theme displayed here on themeforest (using firebug to shorten a comment on the fly).
Hi, I’ll provide you a fix after a weekend. Please contact me via email.
Did you receive my mail?
Hi, replied right now.
Hi, you probably missed my mail so I’ll add it here again:
thank you very much for the quick response.
I replaced “comment-desc” with the mentioned code.
After that I did a quick check within your dummy page “blog_post.html” where I changed one of the comments to
Hello World
<!I am sorry to bother you again with this issue but it seems to persist.
Hi, I’ll reply with delay. Send me an email. Sorry.
Done today at 09:50 am
Ok, please reply me now.
Hi
I need the menu to be sticky. In general i think thats a great plus for the usability of this website, unfortunately i can’t do it. Can you do it for money or with an update for all?
ezeee
Are asking about HTML or WordPress version? Anyway, sticky header is not available for Centum by default and we’re not freelance available.
Hello,How to compatible IE6.0?
Hi, sorry but IE6 is not supported.
So far I’m extremely happy with your template thanks so much, but when I try to add a caption to the third image of the slider by cutting and pasting the code above the page layout disconfigures, can you help me please? Thank you
Could you clarify a bit your question? Thanks.
Hi sorry for the delayed response. On the homepage template there are captions for the first and second layer slider images but not for the third. I’m able to get the caption by cutting and pasting the code but for some reason when I do so the formatting of the rest of the page goes out. Specifically, the white boxed content background disappears and I’m left with the outer background, I don’t know if there are other problems because I’ve been stuck on figuring this out. I reloaded the original code in its entirety as well as the css and still have this issue. Any help would be appreciated.
Here’s how it looks for Slider 3
<!- Slide #3 ->
<!- Background ->
This is a caption
Donec scelerisque aliquet mi, non venenatis urnas iaculis. Utea id nila ante. Cras est massa, interdum ateal imperdiet etean, gravida eu quame. Aeneana volutpat hendrerit posuere.

Could you provide me a link to your site?
It’s not live yet but I think I finally resolved the problem a stray at the end of the layer slider…?
<!-- LayerSlider / End -->
<!-- LayerSlider Container / End -->
Thanks for your prompt replies.
Ok, I’m glad you solved it.
Hi – Your theme is great. I just wanted to know if you have some instructions on how to customise the homepage slider so that I have have different transitions e.g. fade without the slide etc…
Thanks.
Hi, are you asking about WordPress or HTML version?
Sorry html version.
I’m asking about which version you mean because I can’t see your buyer badge and not sure if you’re going to buy or just didn’t buy. Anyway question you mentioned is described in documentation.
I can’t find any reference to the transitions on their site – I just want something simple where they fade. If you could point me in the right direction that would be great, otherwise I’ll get them to login and post the message instead.
Hey! Hope you’re good!
We’re adding a team page (from your about-us.html). I changed the one-third columns to four columns to get four per row. To get five per row, I tried to change it to one-fifth columns, but couldn’t. Any suggestions for getting five per row? Thank you!
It’s not possible to have 5 rows on page with this grid.
OK thanks.
I can’t seem for the life of me to get this template to work in IE10.. Have you seen/ heard anything about this?
I didn’t heard anything about it. Works as in Chrome or Firefox on IE10.
Hello Vasterad,
Two questions about the Contact form.
1. How can the Name field be changed to “Required”?
2. How can CC & BCC recipients be added to receive the messages submitted through the Contact form?
Thank you!
Hi, replied via email.
Great template! I’m configuring it for our first project using Centum.
When the site is adapted to mobile devices, the social icons disappear.
How do we keep the social icons available across all screen sizes?
Thank you!
You can enable it in media queries in style.css
Vasterad, thank you for the prompt response. Would you please provide the code to accomplish this and let me know where it should be placed?
Add this to CSS:
.social-icons {display: block !important}
That worked! Thank you Vasterad : )
You’re welcome.
Hi! How i can add “shop page” inside centum? Should be like your preview. Thanks
Hi, questions regarding WordPress please post there http://purethemes.ticksy.com/
how do you change the base p statement to make the font size bigger please..
Add somewhere in CSS:
p {font-size: 14px !important;}
Thank you…
Hey friend,
at http://shm.ucsd.edu none of my image-overlay-zoom divs are working. They should be on every image on the research page.
Any idea what is going on?
Thanks!
Hi, please compare code on demo preview (or package) with your, modified.
Hi, I’ve bought your template and have built my new website on it.. I’m having trouble with the mobile/tablet integration.. The website is being cut off on the right hand side and also pulling the navigation menu down over the slider in tablet portrait.. and I’m just not liking the way it sits in the mobile format..
I’ve tried deleting the media entries in the skeleton.css and also tried deleting them in style.css and that seems to work ok, except that the footer ends up in the right column, and the slider is tiny…...
Is there any simple way I can just maintain the normal design for those other devices, and allow the user to pinch their way to the navigation?
Could you give me a screenshot or something with that issue?
My website is at: www.fairweatherhypnosis.com It looks absolutely fine in normal viewing on PC. When I remove the media from the skeleton.css I get the following problems which you can see at: http://www.fairweatherhypnosis.com/hidden.html
Oh, and I returned the skeleton.css to its original format because of the above problems.. But even still I notice clipping on the right hand side on iPad, and some problems with navigation menu.
Any help would be appreciated.
Hi, in style.css at the bottom of file there are some media queries too so you need to remove them if you want normal design on mobile devices.
There is no help file for LayerSlider. I’d like to use different transitions but I can’t find the number codes.
Please contact me via email, I’ll provide you a documentation of LayerSlider.
I have used the Centum Template for in excess of 20 websites – each one customized for clients. Centum Template is clean coded and easy to edit. Thanks for making my job so much easier. Happy clients = $$$$

That sounds great.
OK here’s another one, no hurry. How do I get the sup code to work for the ® mark.
®
Or is there a way I can sneak into the css to command that all the ® end up morphing to a superscript?
I remember we did it on http://azomite.com/resources/claims.html with a subscript (second paragraph 2 – - – span class=”subscript”>2) but I don’t remember what adjustments we made elsewhere.
Thanks in advance!
Set right unicode (UTF-8). You’re probably editing files and saving with ANSI.
Hi Vasterad,
Hope you’re good
Have you heard anything about a flikr feed code update (like the twitter one). The gallery isn’t loading. Wah.
Thanks!
NEVERMIND. They are down for maintenance http://www.flickr.com

Hi
Thanks for a great theme – I just wondered if there is a way on the mobile version of having an option to view the full site (ie without the responsive code active?) as some people will prefer to zoom and pinch a full site rather than have the mobile format
Thanks
Sam
Hi, yes it’s possible. Remove all media queries in skeleton.css except basic 960px grid size.
H Vasterad or anyone who have managed to create a working contact form.
I know it’s been suggested to use another php code, so I’m asking what kind of php-code are people using for this contact form to work?
I’m only using the basic name, email and message tables but the php-code provided is not working the way it should. The message is sent to the right email, but after pressing the send-button the message stays in the message text area giving the impression that the message might not have been sent at all.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Once again great design Vasterad.
Cheers,
D
Hi, For most people this script works well in Centum, however as you can see sometimes there are issues. I’d suggest to check form on another hosting if everything is okay then we will check what’s wrong with your current hosting.
I wasn’t specific enough on this. The contact form is working, but I thought I had done something wrong that prevented the message from disappearing and the form from resetting after pressing the send message button. Just figured out the form was coded to work that way. Good thing is that the send-button is disabled once pressed to prevent double posting
I’ll leave it like that for now., thanks
Hi, I’ve bought this from you. Great to work with. I highly recommend.
I have a question. I’ve designed a site for a customer and I want to host it at my domain for them to preview before it gets hosted on their domain.
I’m just worried that if I upload it to my domain, I will have used the licence and then cannot then upload it to their domain.
Am I able to do this or not? I would like to upload it to (for example) http://previewcustomer.mywebdomain.com then when they’re happy with the design, move it to mycustomerdomain.com
Hi, sure you can but keep in mind that one license covers your one client.
Thanks for the reply. I’m fully aware of that and have no intention of cheating the system. I just wanted to be sure that if I did that the site wouldn’t be “stuck” to my own domain name.
