It seem like the it is overlaps behind the logo.

hi Dahz, where do I control the rating of a recipe? Lets say some user is messing with it giving lots of low ratings or someone asks me as administrator to change his vote. Where do I manage the rating votes? By the way, great theme I enjoy working with it very much Thanks, Oren
unfortunately you cant, the database is controlled automatically by wordpress system.
Hi Dahz, I’d like to remove the Reviews tab from the Recipe pages and instead have the Comments listed at the bottom of the page below the About Chef section. The look I’m going for would be similar to how the Comments are laid out on the bottom of a typical Post or Page. Is this possible? If so, how can I do this? I’m not the strongest when it comes to php so I may need some assistance. Thanks so much.
you need to edit it from single-recipe.php, copy the code in tab-3, and paste the code below div cookinfo. after that you can delete the tab-3.

HI, i want to show all the recipes in the archive page. Now there shows only 10 recipes.
that’s weird, the default is 30 posts. but if you want to change it please open template-archives.php then change the number in this code
'posts_per_page' => 30
with the number you want.
But there is no ‘posts_per_page’ => 30 in template-archives.php. pls help to fix this problem. thanks in advance

you received the revolution slider in your download package, please login to your admin panel then go to [appearance] -> [Install Plugins] and choose to install revolution slider there
is it possible to use the shortcode [recipe_list] selecting a single recipe with his post_id?
unfortunately no, you can only use taxonomy and categories for the shortcodes. but you can create a category and assign the recipe you want to this category, then call it by the shortcode.

I have the same problem as kwf36 : I ad : [recipe_grid post_page=”3” taxonomy=”recipe_type” categories=”poisson” orderby=”date” order=”desc”] The 3 correct recipes show up but they are not right next to one another. The first one is ok but the next is bout 3” further down the page and the next one is down the page….

Hi, I recently purchased the theme and now I’m tweaking it to fit my needs. Can you tell me where the #navigation is being constructed? I can’t find it anywhere. I need to place a div with an image directly underneath it.

Ive just purchased this theme and will most probably have suggestions and also need some support in the future but for now have a simple problem which i cant work out. In the theme settings Ive added a background image and have it on repeat and nothing shows up, even if I add a background colour it still wont change?

for your question, please uncheck Disable ALL Custom Styling option first, this option can be found in general styling tab of our theme options.
note: custom background only works in boxed layout, so dont forget to enable the boxed layout too.

Hi i don’t know if you can help. when i set a page to be “front-page” when i go to settings->Reading , all my widgets on the sidebar disappear. However if the page is not set as “front page” the widgets appear. any ideas why this is happening ?

I recently purchased the theme and am adding a recipe. The ingredients section does not seem to work for me. Every time I click the + button to add a second ingredient, all it does is take me to the top of the page rather than adding a second field to add a second ingredient. So now all I have is one ingredient listed. Any help would be great here. Thanks.

for your problem, it seems an issue with plugins, please try to deactivate it one by one while testing the + button.
Unfortunately, that did not fix the issue. Do you have any other ideas that might help?

Thank you for helping fix it. I had to upload the theme myself and I guess missed the file clone.js. It’s now uploaded to the proper folder and everything seems to be working just fine. Just a couple of things.
1. When I enable the widget for recent Posts, no Images are showing, I want it like you have it on the live preview.
2. I uploaded the woody background image, but its not showing. I tried it with custom CSS switched and off and it doesn´t show either way.

1. we use text widget for that, rename the title to recent posts then use this shortcode

2. background image only works for boxed layout, so you need to enable boxed layout in your theme options.

I have a problem with my tags. Indeed, when I click on a tag, the website always answer me that no page exists (for exemple : http://www.mon-gateau-au-chocolat.com/tag/amandes/).
Here is a tags cloud : http://www.mon-gateau-au-chocolat.com/recipe-v2/rechercher-une-recette/ You can see no tags works. That is the same when I click on tags on the admin panel.
Do you have an idea of what can I do ?

I have to say, it’s very frustrating that there are so many typos throughout the site; while the theme looks good, the language makes it read as though it’s riddled with errors. Net result is that it feels unprofessional. A couple of examples: 1) on the “submit recipe” screen, there’s a dropdown for “skill level,” and one of the options is “advance” (the correct word would be “advanced”); 2) on a recipe page, there’s a section called “ready in” that gives a number and nothing more—”ready in 60” means nothing (of course it probably means “ready in 60 minutes,” but it’s a glaring omission). These are just the two I’ve found in the first ten minutes of trying to figure out how to use the theme. I previously noted the problem with the listing of how many items are in the cart at the top of the screen.
The language barrier extends to the documentation, which I find extremely difficult to understand. It’s just not written well, and I have to say it’s obvious that you’re not fluent in English. I wouldn’t nitpick on this point except that English is the only language in which this is offered, so I’d think you’d want to get it completely right. I can’t recommend highly enough that you find a great writer who is fluent in English and hire that person to fix all the coding and documentation errors. Otherwise the site is all but unusable for someone who wants to be taken seriously with this theme. I’m really sorry to be so harsh, but these are serious problems.
