Forgive that I write here, but I can’t send a question through your system of support. Several months ago I bought your theme of “Beautyshop” for opencart. Unfortunately, just now it became clear that it has certain problems in the opera browser. In particular, it is impossible to enter a private office (occurs nothing after data input), and also upon goods purchase it isn’t reflected in a basket (an empty basket). Please, help to correct it. The issue is that you advertise this as being compatible with Chrome. But I’ve just come across the above which DOES NOT WORK in the latest version of Chrome. So this effects everybody who has bought this product. I don’t think this is an individual problem, no? Thanks

I’ve purchased one of your opencart theme ‘BeautyShop’. I guess there’s a bug on the theme. If I select ‘show prices after login’ on settings, home page fails to display “new products” or “featured products” modules.
I’ve also tried with giving price to any product 0 (zero), homepage fails too.

Hi, I’m very interested in this theme.
I’ve highly modified my current theme, making product images larger and moving the price/available options details to the right side, so that product pages have an image which is 700px by 350px.
I also have edited the php to show an image for each category in the menu bar instead of the regular text.
I’ve never worked with a responsive theme before, so would it be possible to implement these kind of changes in your theme?
How difficult is your theme to customise (as in the html/php etc)?

Only your knowledge and experiense depend on this. Code is just code, it the same for most of all themes (by difficulty).

The idea of including custom menu, footer and content blocks is nice but useless for multilingual sites. Many sites offer customers several front-end language options but the custom menu, footer and content blocks have only one language entry field. I have another responsive opencart theme that has the same custom theme setup with tabs for each installed and enabled front-end language.
Different themes have different features.

does this theme overwrite any of the default files from magento? If installed and want to uninstall and simply delete all before uploaded files: will it break any functionality of Magento or are all files genuine to the theme? In case of installing another theme beside beautyshop without uninstalling it: are there conflicts especially in javascript with the files that beautyshop comes with? thank you DYP
Theme does not replace core files. You can just delete theme files if you need to completely uninstall it. But in any case you should made backup of your site before you install or uninstall any theme.

I bought your awesome theme this morning and am going through things slowly and getting used to it all. I’ve been through your instructions a number of times but nothing I do seems to get the mini sides next to the main slider. They always sit underneath. I even tried putting in your images to make sure the sizes were exact. No modules are set to Column-left or right either. Any ideas? Sorry to bother you again dedalx, but since there isn’t a newsletter extension for this template, which good extension would you recommend to download and install that is compatible with template? That’s understandable. Can you tell me then, if I purchase an vQmod extension and after installing it it does not work, can I easily uninstall and remove it with no problems. In other words, will installing or uninstalling something like this break this theme’s functionality? Thanks
You should ask about this from module developer, not us. We cant know answers about modules we never use.

Hi Dedalx,
I’ve noticed that your main dropdwon menu does not work smoothly with IE 10. If you go ACROSS the menu slowly, the sub-menu does not drop down. Instead a small box the size of the padding given in li appears on the left side of the menu. The sub-menu only drops down when you enter from the top or bottom of the main menu, or if you enter and then re-enter again. Also, the sub-menu only drops when the mouse hovers over the text and not the whole li. Can you please be kind enough to look into this and let me know why this is and, more importantly, the solution.

This is common IE10 bug. You can check that default OC theme work the same.
Yes, you’re right!!! That is strange. So is there no solution, work around, or hack that you know of dedalx that might solve this? I can’t find any online articles or forum links that provide a solution. Is there anything you know of?

I think you did not get my point. I mean when you click on the “Click to Zoom Image” Button and the picture pops up. I get your point. We used not that cloudzoom version that you shows. Old version does not support feature that you want and can show only first image in popup. If you wan’t to have latest cloudzoom version with this feature you need to pay around 1000$ for its developer license (and we can’t pay it for you and provide as a gift). Latest version does not allow to use it for free with themes.
thanks for your quick response. It would be nice if it is possible that at least after clicking the second image that this can be also zoomed when clicking on it. For example below site also use cloud zoom v1.0.3 and you can not only hoover each single pic but also click first and then click zoom each pic. I found no information about uploading item photos in various sizes. Is there some name convention on pictures and sizes and the theme load the proper images automaticaly? (wish list image, cart image, slider images, etc.)

Of course I did it before I asked here. I saw only infos about image sizes but nothing else, e.g. where should I to place them. Have you got newer documentation as I have?
You can check our demo site to check what images sizes you should use for slider, etc. How to change slider images described in theme documentation. If you wan’t to change other theme icons you should check it url’s and replace with images with same sizes.
I have really no problem with banner or slider images. But there are a lot of picture sizes they shurely made not on the fly because the aspect ratio. I can define more pics for a single webshop item:
Category: 50×50 Thumbnail: 250×271 List and compare view: 188×204 ...and so on.
How should I define them? There is no upload possibility or at least I did not find it.
Sorry, I don’t understand your questions (you first who ask questions like this). You can see product image sizes in demo site. You can use the same aspect ration for your product images. What you mean in upload possibility? I don’t understand you. You can add photos to your products from OpenCart admin panel.
I thought, I should define images for the shopping cart, for the comparsion page, etc. In the document I saw various picture sizes and had no idea, how to and where to upload them.
OpenCart automaticaly take care of product imeges, just set all settings by documentation and upload your images to products.
