How do I display content on the homepage? I can only see the fullscreen gallery, but when I put content on the page, it doesn’t display it. Also how do I change the font size?

Hey there! Is there a way to display content at the bottom of the fullscreen gallery page where the captions are?
Ideally we would put content there that wouldn’t change with the pictures.

Hello – I have a pre-purchase inquiry. This is a awesome looking theme, great work!
Can content on a page reside in a boxed area instead of having a full screen dark overlay covering the background image? So the box would be a tint over the full screen photo, but outside the box would have no overlay.

Good morning I am interested to buy your theme but I have some doubts. 1º In the portfolio (projects), the works are divided by tags such as branding, product … Is it possible to have 2 portfolios? independent of each other. For example one of them have only videos and in the other only photos. And you can access each portfolio for different buttons on the menu as Porfolio1 and Portfolio 2. It could be possible? 2º the black color of the background (on each page) I change it to white? Thanks so much.

1. Portfolio currently doesn’t have tags – it has work type categories.
2. You can have independent sets of portfolio items by adding them in different parent categories. ie. One with videos and others with images. You can generate portfolio sets filtered with categories or display all of them.
3. Adding custom menu items to menu is possible. You can add portfolio1 and portfolio2 by adding their pages to menu.
4. Theme supports dark tinted page color over white text currently. It’ll be as seen in demo. But this can be changed if you’re familiar with CSS.

Hi, It’d be great if you can use support forum. It’s easier to followup, reply and post codes where sometimes codes are rendered wrong here.
You can switch off responsiveness by editing /css/responsive.css and removing all codes.

Hello. I have a few questions. On the home page: 1) can I put a slideshow with no tile/captions? 2) can I load each slideshow image from a URL? 3) can the slideshow images have filters applied (like the ones in the iCarus or Digon themes have: pixels, dots etc)? 4) The + sign in the menu bar hides the menu, but if you hover over with the mouse you can still click on menu items. Can that be fixed? 5) Is there any difference between the light and the dark version besides the menu bar? I would like to have black fonts on a white background in blog posts and pages. Is that possible?

1. Yes. You can leaves titles and captions empty to have them not display. You can apply this per slide as well. Some with titles and caption others without.
2. No. You need have the images uploaded to WordPress Media manager.
3. Yes. Overlay options as there in theme options.
4. I’ll check on this.
5. It’s currently as seen in demo. The dark and light mode inverts the menu. Pages are transparent – you can change page color but with dark transparent tint with white text as seen in demo.

Thank you for the slideshow fix. Please how can I change the permalink of the home menu to http://www.rccgamazinggracesk.org/ instead of http://www.rccgamazinggracesk.org/home/. I want people to see the home menu by default anytime they log on to the website. It is presently showing the wordpress default home menu page that I have deleted.

I was able to figure out how to display slideshow for both the custom home menu and the home menu I created but I wasn’t able to figure out how to display slideshow for other menu pages (the church, departments, events, location etc).

Lastly is there any harm in deleting the custom home menu?

1. Deleting menu items won’t affect how theme works.
2. You’ll need to assign some images to the page and select image attachments as background slideshow choice from page options.

I have a couple of questions about your beautiful theme:
a) I’m viewing the Ken Burns slideshow on Firefox 26 on the Mac. Last night, when I was viewing your theme, most of the pictures were moving in an and up/down direction, except one, the one with the extreme close up of the girl (with only one eye showing), that was doing a zoom in, I think. This morning all the pictures are zooming in or out, which I prefer much better. Is the direction of the motion something that can be chosen/adjusted?
b) Can the width of the navbar be adjusted to be made skinnier? Can the opacity of the navbar be adjusted?

b. Yes those can be adjusted using CSS. If you’re familiar with CSS it’ll be very easy.

On your demo, the Ken Burns slider is only going up and down. Are there other options for the Ken Burns slider?

Your Demo does not appear random. Is it possible to make it only zoom in or out?
Hi, It is random. There is no set sequence. Try setting different window ratios. You’ll need to modify the kenburns jQuery script to make it work only zoom in and out. It’s possible through modification.
