Before I buy … What page builder are you using? I have been using Nevada on several client sites and theirs is incredibly fast, multi-features with no issues I can find.
I love your theme News and sticky rolling look but need to make sure it has speed in building and loading.
The last theme I purchased that had Visual Composer was slower than molasses and had a ton of bugs in functionality in admin and page builder.

1. Will it integrate with and a forum bbpress or buddypress? 2. I have the plugin Social Pro that is seats itself on the side and will stay in place a the page scrolls, will that work 3. Will Gravity Forms work? 4. Will CCGallery work?
The forum is the only one that I actually would like to have in here.

2. Can i do “more” with any text and so it appears as a link under the post announcement? Standart wp theme can do it, ex. <!-more My text -> .
3. Last problem. if I make a static homepage settings then ignored ”<!-more->” and all entries are displayed without announcement. Posts are output fully and take up much space

I have some rubrics and subrubrics. hi and thanks for your help. i’ve actually this website http://www.trendaholic.be/ with 6 menu (which is basically a category/menu) each article related to a specific category will appear under the appropriate menu. what i want to do is 1 recent New with the last 9 articles post, no matter the category. so for now i’ve just created a category recent news.it’s working but i want something automatic and i don’t want to have a category recent news. in the demo site you’ve http://themes.themegoods.com/venus_wp/?page_id=6742 recent news and trending now and i’m wandering how you did that exactly because i’m not sure and it’s not mentioned in your template documentations.

I just bought your theme, mainly because of the design and image quality..they’re beautiful! I’m beginning to go through the documentation and have a question. How retina ready is the theme? I don’t see a method for uploading an image.jpg and an image@2x.jpg, so it looks to me like I need a plugin to insure retinized display. Is that right? And if so, any recommendations?

You can upload retina image logo using Theme Setting > General and it should have double size of your logo size. For example 100×50 px logo will display 50×25 px in retina.
Thank you. I was actually asking about other images. I understand the logo is retina ready, but it appears that’s not an option at this point for other images. (I might want to selectively have retinized photos in other parts of the site.)

I just wanted to say how much I’m loving your Venus Theme but having a couple of issues with it.
1. No sidebar widgets are showing up on BuddyPress pages (activity, member and group directory, but they show up on the regular pages.
You told in an email that you can’t support all 3rd party plugins. I totally understand that, but BuddyPress is a very popular plugin and I haven’t had this kind of problems with other templates bought here at themeforest.
2. I’m getting a PHP Catchable fatal error for your theme.
In the error log I’m getting this: PHP Catchable fatal error: Object of class WP_Error could not be converted to string in /nas/wp/www/cluster-1658/queertownabbey/wp-content/themes/venus/lib/custom.lib.php on line 189
3. Loading time: When trying to access the homepage, you can’t help but notice a 7-8 second delay before the page loads.
I contacted our host for help and they narrowed it down to the theme in use.
They tested the blog with several themes without disabling any plugins and they got a much better loading time.
I sent you an email on January 9 about this but haven’t got any response back. This is not good customer service.

1. You need an application name “PoEdit” and you can download it for FREE here http://www.poedit.net/.
Once you download and install it. Open file /languages/en_US.po with PoEdit then translate it to yours. You will need to upload all files in /languages folder to your server once you finished translate.
