what would be the benefit of using Tag-it instead of Tagsinput? If Tagsinput have not enough features for you, you could also use Select2 for it.

When using datatables: is it possible to place the the dropdown with records, the search box and the paging below outside the widget-content ? Now all these elements are outside the datatable but within the widget content. I think it is cleaner when these elements are outside the widget content.

Great theme, I just bought it. One thing I did not see is drag and drop portlets.
I would like to enable drag and drop portlets – allowing the boxes of information to be re-arranged by drag and drop as well as positions saved after moving boxes for the next time user logs in.
Is this a capability in the template? If not, is it something I could have special code to enable?

So in other words, this project started out hot and died due to lack of time. That is sad, such a great theme and now I have to hand update, I guess in order to progress further, best of luck with everything, hope it all works out.

Since Melon is just a template with static pages (without any logic behind it), you can use it whatever you want. So basically: Yes, you can also use it as frontend if you’d like to.

Hi Simon,
I have another issue with sorting. So it works perfect with text but it doesnt work with numbers and date. It is sorting numbers alphabetic as letters.
Example:
Does this: “9”, “810”, “7”, “577”. Instead of: “810”, “577”, “9”, “7”. See what i am saying here? It is sorting by first digit instead of sum. Same thing applies to decimal numbers and dates. It does not understand that it’s a date or it’s a decimal number.
I would really appreciate your help!

to your first issue: This is an intended behaviour from Uniform. You can simply call this after you checked the box with jQuery:
$.uniform.update("#myUpdatedCheckbox");
If you don’t mind updating all Uniformed elements or just don’t specifically know which element to update, you can just leave out the parameter (see below) and Uniform will update all Uniformed elements on the page:
$.uniform.update();
Regarding your second request: What do you exactly want to have? Can you give me some examples please?

This is a good template, but does not display properly in IIS and IE11, IE11 when updated to support it?
This error must add files to IIS will appear, if only browse the HTML pages in IE11 will not appear.

Hi! I’m about to buy this template. I noticed a PDF-export thing in Dynamic tables- > TableTools .. which worked in the demo.. Is a PDF-export thing included in this template somehow? thanks

the PDF-exporting is done by the DataTables-plugin TableTools. So if I understood you correctly: Yes, this feature is supported by Melon.

Can the form-components files be combined with the chart files? Am asking as in another admin layout I faced problems, doin’ that.
Secondly, is it easy to have 2 or more charts of the same type on a single page?
And does melon have the feature of incorporating an image with text in a select box?

1. I don’t exactly know what you mean. But you can use form components in the same widget you have charts.
2. Yep, definitely. You only have to initialize it twice with different IDs.
3. Yes, because I’m using Select2, which supports images with text.
