You can also adjust the portfolio pages settings such as filterable, pagination and …

Thank you for your interest in Vertikal! Unfortunately I can’t tell an accurate time for WooCommerce support right now. Honestly I got some great feedback from Vertikal clients and I’m working on my previous item to upgrade it with the same framework now.
After this two week project is done, I’ll start to add WooCommerce to Vertikal. Maybe one month or maybe a little longer.

- Filterable Portfolio
- Portfolio without filters
- Carousel view
Also you can choose what categories to be shown on each portfolio page. So you will have multiple portfolios without the categories selection at the top

First of all Congratulations for a nice and clean work! The theme is special and really easy to work with.
However it seems that I can NOT find my way around the code and to find the single.php standard file or where to grab the code to customize some new post types (the single file and archive file) that I’ve made in addition.

Actually I’ve put a directory in theme, named “layouts”. In layouts, please find the “blog” directory then “content-post.php” file is what you’ll see in single blog post.
I would recommend to make a child-theme before editing the theme as I hope I can release newer versions in next weeks

Hey Alex,
There are three more files which you need to work on if you want to change the full layout. But please use if ( is_single() ) { .... } in them since these files are also used for blog index page too.
The files are in the same directory with these names:
- no-sidebar-blog.php
- left-sidebar-blog.php
- right-sidebar-blog.php
These files will use for no sidebar, left sidebar and right sidebar layout.

I am sorry for the multiple messages, but I still have trouble. To make it a little more clear:
I have created a new post type and I want to customize it: the single page and the archive page for this custom post type.
I have used the child theme you provided, but when I place a single-mycustomposttype.php in the root folder, the theme is reading, but the page looks wierd.
Please point me what files to copy and modify to propper integrate my new custom post type in my theme. I think it will be easier that way and will save a lot of time.

Thank you for purchasing Vertikal! I’m glad that you like it
For the first question, Please enable Visual Composer on your page by clicking on its blue button which is above the WordPress editor, then you can make your layout with Visual Composer.
After that, you can add some rows and columns in it and insert your preferred item (such as accordion, tabs and …) in the columns.
Now you can create some elements in them too. If you want to have icons in them, you should add “Font Awesome Icon” element inside it and it’s done!
Seems too much steps? Don’t worry, I’m gonna create a screencast for it and will submit its link very soon
About the second issue, I’ll check it right now and will fix it in the next version which I’m gonna release tomorrow

If you want to use icons from other libraries, ( e.g. Icomoon ) I would add this option in next updates.
But if you want to add your own images as Icon, I think we can do this by some Custom CSS works. Please send me your site URL, permission on your WordPress (if possible) and one of these images (It should be transparent PNG file) and I’ll try to make it for you

Is those menu buttons so sensitive? Pointer of mouse just goes around the site and those sub-menus just pops out a lot of times. Pointer is not even close to the menu when it happens

The mouse over effect fires when you move the pointer over the menu item block not only the text of it. Maybe this is the reason that you think it’s opening even without your mouse pointer get close to the menu items.
Of course my some small CSS customizations, you can make a delay in menu open effect and this way, the menu will open after for example 500ms that you keep the mouse pointer over a menu item.

Where can I edit the Portfolio Navigation settings on individual portfolio pages? The “Back To Portfolio” button goes nowhere. (#)

Thank you for purchasing Vertikal! I hope you like it You can set the portfolio main page URL “which you see it as Back to Portfolio”, in “Appearance – Theme Options – Portfolio Options”.
In this page you should choose your main portfolio page in “Portfolio Archive Page” section.
By doing this ”#” will replace with the URL of this page.
You can also change the wordings of the “Back to Portfolio” by editing this file:
/wp-content/themes/vertikal/single-tmq-portfolio.php
then on line 129, replace “Back to Portfolio” with your desired string.
I would recommend to make a child theme and copy this file in it then edit it in child theme. This way you’ll easily update your theme whenever I release a newer version.

Thank you for your reply. If you don’t want to have e-commerce features, then current version will suit your needs and you will be able to use current portfolio for showcasing your products. And you are right. The portfolio post type supports page builder too so you can easily add any elements such as tabs, accordions or any other elements that you wish in each product page (originally portfolio item).

Thank you for your interest in Vertikal! Actually it’s not possible through the theme options.
As Vertikal menu is sticky and is following the visitor when they scroll the page, it doesn’t looks fine if you open the sub-menu items below the main menu items and on small screens not all of the menu items will be visible.
What you need can be done by some customizations. If you’ve purchased Vertikal right now, please first make a child-theme for it, then customize it. This way you can upgrade to the latest version whenever I release an update without loosing your changes.
