Nextgen plugin current version which isn’t stated compatible with WP 3.8. It looks like their latest beta version gets the fullscreen script running. It’s still in beta so i don’t recommend upgrading the plugin but looks like it’s coming with lots of fixes.

I’d recommend voicing this over their support forum as the supersized script powering fullscreen slides is a popularly used script as well.

Support forum is primary location for support.

Codes and syntaxes don’t render well here. Support forum threads can be linked , tagged, searched and referred to others. So It’s much user friendlier. Any mistakes can be corrected while my editing capabilities to correct the refered codes here are limited within a time period. This will lead to theme errors if you copy the code from here and difficult for me to keep track of them.
