Hello,
I’ve changed the theme so when you visit the website on a mobile website it renders as seen on a bigger screen. This is how my client wants it to look like.
The problem is that when the page is loaded the small boxes are placed on top of the bigger one on the right side, just like this: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/16036802/ubergrid/box-bug-before.PNG If you scroll down (to activate the “load more boxes” function) the boxes are re-ordered and placed correctly: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/16036802/ubergrid/box-bug-after.PNGHow can I fix so the the boxes are ordered correctly directly after page load?
I’ve also altered the CSS so the boxes have an auto height, maybe this is the causing the problem?

this is some issue with your customization and you should probably put fix height for this custom box.

I just wonder, is there some JS function (or similar) I can call to trigger a re-order of the boxes after the page has been fully loaded?

Hi, we’ve used jquery masonry, which is bundled with wordpress, plugin for box positioning. So you can consult plugin’s documentation and see if there is some ‘refresh’ method.
Important is that masonry plugin version, which is bundled, is pretty old (v2.1.05) and that newer versions of plugin (v3+) have some new and advanced options. Good news is that wordpress 3.9 (which will be available for download from Apr 16th) replaces old masonry plugin with new one, so all new goodies are going to be available.

I have bought UberGrid, and it’s great but I’m having difficulty adding a right sidebar. Under menus I ticked and added have a right menu. Under sidebar I chose 100 width. I have also selected have right sidebar. None of these is creating a right hand sidebar where I can then put in an opt-in form and links and adverts. Please let me know what I am doing wrong.

you already have possibility for right sidebar http://themeforest.net/item/ubergrid-responsive-grid-wordpress-theme/full_screen_preview/6383212You can use this right sidebar on every page of your Website, and it’s a widget area so you can add what ever you want (links, adverts, signup form and etc..)

Hi, it looks like that dimensions, of the embeded iframe which holds video, are 1024×576, you should try to put embed code with some lower values for width (and height). Content width is 695px so there is no reason to enter higher value for video width.

thanks!! It works great on the computer but on smartphone it still shows bands black… do you have any idea why? Best!
That’s due to the different width/height ratio on smaller screens (smartphones).
Player width and height are set for the computer screen resolution and now on smaller screens you have black bands for the same reason you had them in the first place on ‘computer’ version, this ratio doesn’t fit smaller screens and vimeo player doesn’t resize properly.

Also I can only get widget sidebar to show up on the front page but not on any other pages how do I fix this?
You’ll need to make simple change in your template files and delete <?php get_sidebar(); ?> from all pages other then ubergrid/page-tamplates/template-homepage.php

The Oswald font is imported directly by style.css from the theme’s fonts directory – is there any way to prevent this in a child theme to prevent loading those files if they’re not used?

Hi, I work with Cesar theme but I want to change for a them which have the “Grid view” option applied for categories. Your Ubergrid Theme have that.

Hi guys! I’ve have another question, now with Gallery format posts.
I use home page Grid layout, infinite scroll, etc. etc. In order to not load all posts’s gallery images to draw the slider, I use secondary image. And it works: it loads only the secondary image in the box gallery format posts, without slider. Then when I click the image or title and I go to the entery post, it works: it loads the slider so well, but it adds the secondary image to the slider … and I want to have in the slider only the images I’ve defined in [gallery] inside the post.

Sorry, but I’m so active adapting my site to Ubergrid, because I like your theme so much!
Now, I would like to have a ‘down direction arrow’ at the bottom of the page when home page with grid posts and infinite scroll is On, in order to let know the or advise visitors that if they go bottom down, the page will load next 6 (or how many you define) and so on… An arrow or a text (like ‘Go down in order to load more articles/posts’)...
