Hello! Nice theme! This theme can I use it as subsilver (members form left etc) because already I have a subsilver forum style. Also if I want can I convert my subsilver data on this awesome style (prosilver) and see theme smoothly as should be? Thanks in advance!
Hi Thanks! BBOOTS is built from the ground up. It uses its own modern HTML5 structure. There is no prosilver or subsilver obsolete code in it. If you know how to work with HTML5/CSS3 you can definitely adjust it how you like it better. Can ads be put before the start of the categories or forums or topics??? Can the log be made responsive without loosing the aspect ratio?

If I purchase this theme from you, would it be possible to get a “raw” CSS file from you with just the basic classes that I could use with my content management system? I am a seasoned PHP/CSS/HTML5 developer and have a project that I am working on but just don’t have the time to finish integrating Twitter Bootstrap and my custom theme into phpBB but I need the main website using the CMS to match the forum and quite possible a store based on OpenCart. Header/Footer wrapping to match wordpress header/footer. I’m sure this can be done but I don’t see an overall_header or footer file? Are you using a different naming convention?

That’s my mistake, somehow I complete overlooked them in the template folder. I see them and will see if I can get this to work.
I think I could use some additional help here. I’m not seeing how to wrap the phpbb theme in my word press site. I’m going to continue playing with the header code but way off at this point. Any input you can provide would be greatly appreciated
Hi, This would be more of a freelance situation for me. All the WP templates behave somewhat differently from each other and not all follow standards. there is a lot of playing around on this matter that has to be done. The truth on this is that there is no really an easy way around at the moment. If I were me I would rather modify BBOOTS header and footer to look like my WP template. If you wish to pursue the other way than you’ll need to create some extra files to call the header and footer. Something along this line:

you could dig around and see hot it integrates prosilver. Then do the same for BBOOTS.
Basically is what I want to do is remove the header and footer of BBOOTS. I’ve removed the header successfully working on footer now. The basically place my header above the BBOOTS Home reference and my footer below the Who is Online area. Not within the wrap though. I still want the forum to look like any other page on the site.
Does that make more sense?
The you can just delete the <header> and <footer> tags. After that you can add some of your WP classes to BBOOTS/theme/custom.css and get a closer look to your main WP theme. Don’t forget to refresh the theme and forum cache to see the changes.
Thanks for the fast responses very helpful! And yes I have some knowledge and am aware of the cache folder and refreshing. Taking baby steps and so far I have the header and footer trimmed now just need to figure out how to place my WP header footer in the correct place. Thanks again!

Is this theme compatible with PhpBB v3.1_beta? I ask this because 3.1 will be released soon, and from what I understand PhpBB v3.1 will require a complete rebuild of all existing 3.0.x themes.
Hi, I’m writing it for 3.1. but it’s a slow process. The team didn’t really do a great job with the documentation. so.. as far as 3.1 being available soon that is not really the case. it really depends on how the continue with the beta version after that there will be the RC versions and then the final release. So who knows.
