Do you have any plans to sell the music manager as a premium plugin? I have several sites where I’m not able to change theme, but they would still benefit from the music manager, it’s by far the best one out there.
It is very possible, although we cannot promise since now we must finish our newest template, it is at the moment our priority.

im having problems with installing this is what im doing 1. download the file “pendulum-premium-wordpress-theme.zip” 2. i have wordpress 3.01 the latest one. 3. i tried installing from the back end in the upload so i tried the zip file from you guys and that did not work. 4. ive also tried ftp the file to my site and as per the instructions that doesent work either… what am i doing wrong?
Hello,
Once you have the Wordpress theme on your local hard drive, you have to upload it under the ‘wp-content/themes’ directory of your website. You have two options to do that:
- You can upload the .zip file of the theme in the ‘wp-content/themes’ directory via the File Manager and extract it online, or
- Extract the file in your computer and then to upload the content in the desired folder via FTP .
Now, that you have the new theme uploaded on your site in the right folder, you can see it in your WP admin panel and select it as a default theme for your site.
So I can export my data from the older version and import it in version 1.0.2 (as shown in the video tutorial?).
By the way what’s the best way to update the theme? should I delete the theme folder on my website and upload the new one?
Yes, you can export and import data but only in the system R-Panel 2.0, unfortunately importing data from the previous version isn’t possible. It is general problem of the import of associative arrays stored in the MySql database. Therefore we created the imort/export option in the new theme.
Best to open some text editor, to copy data from old theme then to paste in to new.

Okay I read the readme.txt and it says: “if you want to use an updated version of the 1.0.2 template you must supplement your data one more time.” what does that mean exactly? “supplement your data one more time” can you elaborate?
I saw the new 2.0 frame it is GREAT and NEEDED addition. Specially the Portfolio/Music pages filtering categories. Way to go!

Hello Yewsef thank you. Unfortunately if you want to use new R-Panel 2.0 you will have to one more time fill your data up (Portfolio manager, Music…). It is caused by the fact that we had to write the new system from the beginning. We used other way of showing data, this method is faster and more efficient.
We are recommending of course using the new system, we know around it is troublesome, therefore we want to apologise for impediments. Best to open some text editor, to copy data from old theme then to paste in to new. The new template has cool feature since can import and export data from every module (Portfolio manager, Music Manager, genera settings…), of course only from the new system. We are encouraging watching screencasts:
The flash music player isn’t loading anywhere for me. Tried two computers and two different browsers with the same result. Any ideas?

With Pendulum, how do I add comments to certain pages? They show up on the posts but I can’t seem to be able to get them to show up on a page? Thanks Jim
Unfortunately but in this template you can add commentaries only to posts
@heyitstom, the upgrade is the same way you originally downloaded the first file. Right under the price on top on the right hand side of the screen. that same “download it here” link, gives you the new file. Hope that helps you.

i have patched our theme from 1.01 to 1.02 using the new zip file. How do we use the custom fields for future dates on the Incoming Events posts (on the home page).
the custom fields still look like the default version on 1.01? i.e the only options are to Add new custom fields

In this moment, we implemented new changes in the new convention (with R-Panel 2.0) since we had to write the entire system anew. We will still prepare one patch for users using the older PENDULUM version.
Any specific instructions for upgrading or should one just overwriting all the old stuff?
Before you will start installing read ‘readme.txt’.
