Sorry. My use of the code tag in my comment didn’t work as expected.
If you try adding a selector list element with the ampersand symbol, you will see the problem.
Then, if you correctly use the HTML encoding of the ampersand symbol (i.e. with amp; appended to the ampersand symbol), you will see that problem.

Sorry for the inconvenience. We have just fixed the ampersand problem. We will update it soon in the next version. For now, please change below two lines in js/theme-scripts.js.
Change .html() to .text() on line 149 and line 155. So the lines will be as followings.
line 149: tjq(this).next(“span.custom-select”).text(tjq(this).children(“option:selected”).text());
line 155: tjq(this).next(“span.custom-select”).text(tjq(this).children(“option:selected”).text());

Sorry for the delay. I didn’t receive the notification from ThemeForest that you’d updated this thread.
Anyway, thanks for the quick response! The recommended changes worked.
Technically, instead of the ampersand alone, the HTML encoding should be used in the HTML code (so the items should contain amp;). However, that still doesn’t work as expected. But it’s OK. We just modified the items to contain the ampersand character alone and it works well.

I have two issues:
The selectors (select controls) do not SHOW updates after using either JQuery or Javascript to change the selected index. If you tab to the field so that the list is pulled down, you will see that the new item has been correctly selected, however, it is not reflected in the field when the drop down list elements are not showing. So, if the user never expands the list, then what he is submitting is not actually what is being displayed.
Also, the selectors show & amp; in the field when the & symbol is contained in the selected item . It appears correctly in the list items.
But,having a & symbol in an option is technically incorrect HTML anyway. It should be &. However, when this correct version is used, it gets worse. The & now shows in the list items and & shows in the selected item.
So, both ways are broken, but I’d prefer to do it the correct way. Any idea on how to fix?

Hi thevman, Actually change event doesn’t get called when the value of <select> is set by javascript. Please check this topic You can use bellow method to change value by javascript: $(‘select’).val(‘something’).trigger(‘change’);

Nice Theme. I am thinking about making a purchase. I think the gallery tabs are not working. If you go to any of the gallery pages. I was on the 3 column. I clicked on any of the tabs, All, Country, Adventure, Island, Beach, Ocean Park and the gallery photos do not re arrange. I guess my question is. Are the photos supposed to re arrange when a person clicks on any of the tabs?? Thanks for your help…

Thank you for your interest. I understand what you mean. Please remember this is only html template. If we rearrange images, we should use ajax and integrate with server scripting languages. But this has only html files. You can develop server scripting code which gets images in the selected category and integrate it with our template. Please let me know if have any other questions.
