Why doesn’t your documentation make it crystal clear how to import the Sample Content goblog.wordpress.2014-03-19.xml file?
I am not asking you how to do this, I searched Google and figured it out. It is simply something that should have been in the documentation.
I thought if a person is using WordPress he knows how to import data because it is really simple and basic WordPress function. If you found it tough then I think I will have to add it in documentation.
Personally, I am very new to WP. I realize it seems like a basic thing, but I had to go and search for it.

Another question… Is It possible to disable the comments just for one page on my site? I’d like to do this on my contact page, because the contact form + comments is simply to much. I want to have a page just with the contact form.

Yes, you can hide it on create page screen. Just disable the comments and trackbacks there. If you don’t see the option to disable the comments, you can turn this option on from Screen Options at the top of create page screen.

I got 3 issues though i cant figure out by myself:
1) The ..meaning the part between header and post box, where it shows which site you are on is a bit annoying because the reader can already see which site he is on in the header. Can i remove this part somehow? Because it just steals space in my case..
2) Is it possible to make a full page landingpage as the homepage? This is a Blog Theme after all. Id really like to have a full size landing page for my readers to opt in.

3.) How can i change the title code for the header php. because when im using the seo plugin by yoast it doubles the name of the page in the tab.

1) It is called breadcrumb and you can disable it from theme options.
2) You can create a page and set it as your homepage.

Im using the “wordpress seo plugin” by yoast.
Another thing: is it posible to hide the title of pages? At least on the homepage? I tried to just leave the title blank, but i wont have it in the menu.
I will be adding option to hide page title because users are demanding option of landing page. For time being you have to keep title blank but in the next update you will be getting option to hide it.
You may remove the blog name from plugin title settings. I will be modifying it in next update.

I would also really like to have control over how long the excerpt is above 55 characters…not sure if that’s in the latest update.
You can download and reinstall the theme. You will not be required to make changes again. You can also take backup of theme options before reinstalling theme.

My page was reported to open very slowly lately- mainly because of image loading. The photos are downloaded in full resolution, not as thumbnails. Some tests were made, results are accesible here: http://www.webpagetest.org/result/140804_0N_11RW/;
The first open loads cca 130 images, 7 MB data and lasts for 16 s.
I already lowered number of post on first page, but I would like to keep images on first page.
Is it possible to load only thumbnails on page load to shorten loading time and then load image per click?
Do you perhaps have another suggestion?

It loads thumbnails only and full size images are loaded on click. You can install WP Smush it plugin to compress images if you use large number of images on single page.
This report says it loads full size: http://www.webpagetest.org/result/140804_0N_11RW/ All the images are compressed before uploaded.
Where in report it says that it downloads full size images? I can see all thumbnails are loaded (150×150).
I’ve just found the solution myself – I’ll do the standard format and it fixes the problem completely!!!
Yes that’s what you can use. It’s not good to show too many galleries on home.
Love this template for my blog – a few questions:
1. What size should my photos be in order to fill up the space on the post (width)? 2. What size should the videos be in order to fill the post space (width) 3. how do you get the author icon like in the demo (the blue circle next to the post)
Width of images and videos need to be 768px wide. Images can be wider than 768px.

Menu has problem with fixed header when there are large number of links. I will update the menu or will add a new one.
how do i add a plugin to the site? if i go into theme / customize it won’t allow me to save the changes to my primary sidebar. i tried applying a different theme, adding the plugin, then re-applying the GoBlog theme but it didn’t work. thanks for your help.
Don’t use customize thing. GoBlog has its own Theme Options for making any kind of changes.
You may add plugins from Plugins -> Add New

Hello, on my page http://kliker.si/ the gallery doesn’t work properly – it’s not possible to browse the photos next/prev as only one photo appears. there is no > or <. Please help, is it something with the settings, where? Thanks!
You are using tiled gallery. You may select slider gallery if you want next/prev button.
Huh, but until the last update in May I used tiled gallery and it was still possible to open a photo in Lightbox and then browse the Lightbox with next/prev button. That was really cool!!!

What should I do it works in version 1.2.1? Now it’s even worse, no Lightbox anymore .
The Gallery format works perfectly now. But the gallery added through Add Media in a standard format is now not a gallery and doesn’t show in Lightbox at all .
I just checked your blog and gallery is working fine here. You may need to clear cache of your browser.
Nop, not working, tried on many computers in many browsers . Here: http://kliker.si/po-sonce-na-setice/ at the bottom if I click a photo it opens directly, not as a gallery in a lightbox with previous/next possibility . In version 1.2 it opened as a gallery in lightbox but without prev/next.
Lightbox effect is only for featured gallery but not for gallery added inside article.
But this is a standard WP feature, a gallery inside article … worked perfectly before latest update (except prev/next). How can I have a gallery inside a post? If I choose gallery post format the page is very slow.
Gallery is standard but not the lightbox. I’ll see if it is possible to add lightbox to standard WordPress gallery.

No idea about your sitemap. You may try Google XML sitemap plugin if yoast’s plugin is not working for you.

I can’t say about this because every theme has it’s own structure and working. You may try activating it.
If there is no special functionality inside articles then you may not face any difficulty.
