I’m looking to find out how they are awarded and where they can be awarded i.e. to comments, recipes, users etc.
And I assume that these can be then set to be featured on the home page to see most awarded area?

Is it possible when the user submits a recipe to upload his own video (not a youtube link)?
Do you have different colors for the theme or we have to do it with css?
Also I don’t want the guest to submit a recipe. Is it possible?
Another important thing is the top recipes of the day or week, recent recipes, most rated. Are these included in the theme?

At the moment only 3rd part hosted videos will be supported out of the box.
We have not decided whether multiple color schemes will be included yet.
Guests will not be able to submit recipes.
We will have widgets/shortcodes for top recipes, recent recipes, most rated etc.

Few questions: 1) Can I put an image slider on home page where “Welcome to SocialChef!” is written, instead of static image? 2) Can I reduce the default height and width of main page welcome image/slider.
This is a HTML theme and comes as is. You can add anything you wan there as long as you know how to customize HTML.

The html version is just html. The WP version will be the one that lets you and your users enter and manage recipes. The HTML version does not.
