two things I noticed when working on this theme:
1. The Z-Slider is causing an error (404 Not Found). Please check the screen shot below from your demo store
2. The styling for labels and options for downloadable products is missing. Please check the screen shot below where a downloadable product is compared with configurable product from your demo store
It would be nice to have the label and options list style for downloadable product styled in the same way as configurable products are already.
Could you fix both in a next release?

so, here is the documentation to import demo content which seems a little tricky to understand:
Demo Content You are able to import the demo content into your site. To do this, firstly download our demo content. There are 8 database backups and a folder with media content. To install one of our demo pages, follow this steps: 1.) Firstly you need prepare your database: it must be clean, without any table in it. 2.) Choose the database you have for magento, go the ‘Import’ page. Choose the needed .sql file (v1-v8) and press ‘Import’ button. 3.) After importing the sql tables in the database, copy the clean magento on your FTP. Than copy the files of ‘progressive’ template. Final thing is to upload the ‘media’ folder from the demo.zip archive. 4.) At this time go to the installation page of the magento and configure it. Remember: The demo content will be installed only on the clean database. If you already have your own database with products, static blocks, pages etc, make the back-up of your database.
MORE SO, how about all the work we’ve done up to the point that you let us know that DEMO CONTENT IS REQUIRED just to get the static boxes as shown in your DEMO. I can NOT stress how many times I’ve asked for a refund AND how many bugs there are in your theme. Every person above that has something good to say has only had the theme for a few days. Wait until they have to go through numerous “bug patches” and also figure out “one day” that things like shipping radio buttons don’t show selection on customer page, etc.
It’s just never ending. More so, every time you act like you’re helping, you don’t DO anything. You just send us to some github or stackoverflow thread about security issues. If sacrificing site security on an ecommerce site was required, you should let us know BEFORE purchase.
I’m sooooo sick of this.
YOU indicated that you would do minor customization for the first 50 purchasers – YOU HAVEN’T. You indicate that something is on my end, then week later you send some half baked excuse and a link to stackoverflow threads. You send me a skype request and then Cancel it and include a disclaimer about not being able to talk.

We have read you post from the beginning to end, but didn’t find any information about issues, that still exist on your site.
We have checked both of your tickets and found, that we didn’t get a reply from you for 7 days. They were closed according to terms and conditions, specified at the top of ‘Ticket Submit’ page on our support site .
As for static blocks… They don’t require import of demo content. Demo content is required for those people, who want to have a site similar to our demo with all settings, pages, static blocks, products, images etc. If you don’t need demo content, then just copy and paste content of these blocks from our documentation .
As for github and stackoverflow threads… You asked us for help and we provided you required information for solving the issues. Information in specified threads is not related with Progressive theme. It can be useful for users, who have some issues with Magento at all.
As for skype… You asked us for skype and we provided it for you. Did you use it? No.
Obviously I tried to use it since I posted that you haven’t accepted the contact request OR provided a time. I have not responded because it has been long enough and I expect a refund. You have provided absolutely NO helpful information, but I am glad your grammar has improved enough to understand your reply. Hopefully, you’ll start focusing providing answers, instead of making excuses or stating that you’ve provided answers instead of just linking to the same documentation that you include with purchase (which is as poorly written as this theme).
But for those suckers who continue to buy your theme, let’s make this simple:
Here is one of the MANY bugs (that is a DEAL BREAKER and make this theme USELESS for anyone with a REAL store and REAL traffic).
Shipping radio buttons do not reflect selection. So, when a user selects ground shipping or next day, etc. the radio buttons don’t show results.
Majority of customers will abandon shopping cart.
PLEASE tell me HOW THIS IS MY FAULT or WHAT I HAVE TO CODE TO FIX IT or WHERE THIS IS IN YOUR DOCUMENTATION or A SCREENSHOT OF WHEN YOU PROVIDED AN ANSWER to the previous times I’ve mentioned this bug.

We have fixed radio button issue in Progressive theme v1.1.3. You can find this information in changelog.
We can’t create a ticked on http://support.itembridge.com/ The page keeps prompting each attempt with the message “The license number is incorrect. ”, although the licence number is correct.

When viewed in mobile portrait orientation on resolutions like 800 * 400 the search options completely disappears. Please note this is the case with the ‘search box always visible header option also’.
Another issue when the category page is viewed in tablet with 1280 * 700 resolution in portrait mode, the filters and siderbar contents appear first and the product list follows afterwards. This is not very useful and can confuse viewers. Either it should display side by side as in desktop view or collapse as shown in some themes here.

There are NO static blocks included with this theme. Apparently they expect you to code ALL of them! The whole purpose of buying a theme is so that I don’t have to code. I WANT A REFUND!!!

Moreover, you don’t need to code all of them. Just copy and paste content of required blocks from our documentation.
Your documentation lists incomplete syntax for the static blocks. ALL of it is truncated! I should not have to load 1.5G of demo data just to get the static blocks! You guys should really learn from Ultimo on how to build and document a theme! I still want a refund. I have already purchased the Megatron theme and will not use yours.

I purchased this theme because the demo looked well designed and complete. the documentation seemed complete from first glance.
THIS is as far as “good” goes. I waited 2 days for a response, just to not get a real response. it’s been 5 days and STILL no response worth anything. DON’T BUY THIS THEME unless you are very skilled at Magento coding. I have years of experience with Magento, html, css, etc. etc. and still there documentation is written in such poor and broken English that it is not understandable – even if it was complete (which it’s not).
I’ll follow up later with more detailed information (the mageslider / z-slider pro is so buggy that it’s not worth it, unfortunately, according to the documentation, the entire static block system is dependent upon something that doesn’t work. you can’t even uninstall it and reinstall it through magento connect). SO many issues that I don’t know where to begin.

Loading your demo content IS NOT the answer. You should just complete the code that you sold. NOT start selling stuff that is half done. Then, just ignore us or worse, after days of waiting for responses, just give us half baked, poor responses that get NO WHERE…. Here is a perfect example: I have to go back to your ticketing system to check for you to SAY NOTHING of substance – because YOU just CUT AND PASTED a RESPONSE from SOMEONE ELSE above. ARE YOU KIDDING?

1. You didn’t specify any information about required customization. So, how can we help you?
2. Documentation for Progressive theme is available here . Please provide us information about all unclear moments in it and we’ll make it better.
3. As you can see Progressive theme was sold 70 times at this moment. Only 3 our customers let us know, that they have problems with Z-Slider. So, maybe the problem is not in slider?
4. These static blocks are available and can be imported with demo content. We are currently working on import of static blocks without other content and have plans to add this information in the next release of Progressive theme.
5. This site is available for every our customer. We do our best for helping customers to get similar site as our demo.

Ok so I really wanted to like this theme, but if you are going to use it on a production site then be warned, it is not production ready.
Pros: 1) It is a nice looking theme. 2) There are a fair number of configuration options. 3) Parallax is nice
Cons: 1) It is an early release. As such, there are MANY bugs. Be prepared to troubleshoot and open support tickets. 2) Support is lacking. This might not be an issue with a polished product, but this theme is not that. Expect to wait one day+ for a response and hope that they are willing to address. My first request was answered promptly, my second request was never updated. They blamed me for the problem, when the issue was clearly with the theme. I am not a Magento novice. 3) They will ask for admin and/or FTP credentials to your site to evaluate and make changes. Perhaps this is necessary, but I am wary of giving out this information to an unknown party. 4) Their ticketing system is very limited. They ask for sensitive data via that system, yet their tickets are public by default. I would not trust them with confidential information. Be careful. 5) Documentation is thorough, but technical. This theme is not for a novice as some configuration (e.g. categories and mega menu pages require coding and or xml configuration)
Some of my issues: 1) At first the category pages were throwing 500 errors on the server. This was a known error that they never made me aware about. I spent a day troubleshooting only to find it was their problem. To their credit, they were able to fix it, but they should have emailed everyone with the theme and prompted us to update. 2) No products were showing in any of my category pages. They blamed this on me. They did so, because when I deactivated their theme the problem continued. This would be understandable if their theme did not also add Code to my site. That code continued to run even after their theme was deactivated. Be warned that this theme uses a hacked version of the Magehouse Slider. This is a good extension but has some known problems with later versions of Magento. The theme developers purposefully hid some of the slider’s configuration options from the Magento admin. In my case, the layer.php file in the slider was looking for min and max values for the slider. It couldn’t find them and so no products were showing. The developers were unresponsive and now I have to fix this problem myself. That’s not what I call good support.
In summary, the theme looks nice, but it is not ready for prime time. If you are an experience Magento developer/themer then it may be worth the price. If you are hoping for a polished theme like Ultimo, then wait a while as this theme isn’t anywhere near that yet.

It seems that this template is one big bug!! Most of the template files are not correct implemented and doesn’t work in a Multi store/language environment. For an reason, most of the templates are not loaded from the package but from the base package. If got a error log file of 1.6GB. The site has become SUPER SLOW. I think it’s because of all the errors which are generated. In short – because the Magento rules are not correct implemented, this is not ready for sale and it will take a lot of work to make a proper working template of this current garbage.

All “bugs”, that you have specified in the ticket on our support site were related with your inattention, unwillingness for reading carefuly documentation and using third-party extensions, which we didn’t specify yet as compatible with the theme. You ignored our desire to help, when created a first ticket. We closed it because you didn’t reply for 7 days.

As for 500 error… It seems, that you didn’t read documentation carefuly. You didn’t create a static blocks, as it is described in first steps of installation guide. That was the reason of this error. We created required static blocks and it solved this issue.
As for styles of login and registration pages… ‘One Step Checkout’ extension, that is currently installed on your Magento, overrides styles of Progressive theme. We already solved this issue for you.
As you can see, we are currently working on solving issues for you. We want to solve all all of them and make your site work.
That’s what we want to achieve because every our customer is very important for us.
Please be patient and we’ll do our best for solving all issues, that you have specified.
The main aim is to warn people not to buy this theme because it’s not what it seems to be. I have de-installed it and changed to on other more professional theme.
