Hi, wonderfull theme.
I got a couple of questions.
1) I can’t find the flags that your demo has on the top bar menu. 2) How can i center the sub menu when i use the CSS menu-full-width? It’s always set at the left og the screen. I want to show only two columns. When i use it with 5 columns all work perfect. 3) I want to change the shopping bag for a shopping cart or something else, what can i do?

If you go to Captiva Theme Options > WooCommerce Product Details and delete the text in “Delivery and Returns tab title” the tab will be removed.

Hi there, I bought the theme the other day and have been running into issues with getting it working because several of the required and recommended plug-ins are causing problems.

A white screen normally infers a php error which you’re not seeing because WP_DEBUG is turned off.
We’ve not had any other reports of this error so I cannot tell you what it is from the information provided thus far.

Also, I am noticing that most of my pages work (when the plug-ins that I listed above are not installed), but the “Shop” and “Cart” pages don’t show up for some reason.
And two more things – the shopping bag picture is not showing up, and there is a message saying “Your theme has bundled outdated copies of WooCommerce template files”..

The Shop and Cart pages are probably not working because they’ve not been assigned to be those pages via WooCommerce->Settings

Not at the moment – you would need to either modify the main template (not recommended) or override this via child theme.
The other (possibly simpler) option is just to hide it with css
e.g.

display: none;

Hello-
I am trying to find a theme to match a new business we are starting. I need a site that will sell our products but I do not want that to be the only focus. I want to the items and prices not to show on the home page but rather keep all of it in the “shop”. I want the website to focus and the lifestyle and information we are supplying. I want to be able to show videos, pictures, blogs, news articles, self generated marketing pieces, contests, etc…... So, I need a theme will supply the upfront appearance of an experience while being able to handle ecommerce on a high level because we will be selling a lot of product as well. Will this theme be able to help me?
Please, let me know if you have any questions. I am not a computer guy so I may not be explaining my thought process properly to you.

Captiva will do exactly what you want
You can easily remove the eCommerce elements from your homepage or use one of our other homepage templates that doesn’t display any ecommerce elements on the homepage
e.g. http://captivatheme1.commercegurus.com/homepage-5-corporate/Captiva is a lot more than just an eCommerce theme (but it does do eCommerce really well too!). It will have no problem making your site contents look great.

What course of action should I take if any? I’d like to keep the site humming along any advice would be great.

Hi, I’ve just bought this theme after battling with the Jupiter and Trego themes. They were just not what we were looking for in functionality. I get an error message: THEMEFOREST_CAPTIVA_PACKAGE Stylesheet is missing. Research tells me to FTP the style sheet. I am not comfortable with this. On the layout of Captiva it said “free installation – we’ll do the install”. I need help with the install please.

Captiva comes with .po and .mo files in a language folder for easy translation of English strings to any language. The Codestyling Localization plugin – https://wordpress.org/plugins/codestyling-localization/ is another option which makes translations straight forward to do

I think you’d need some sort of membership plugin for WooCommerce so only people with accounts could log in. You could then collect orders by ‘Cash on Delivery’ as a payment option and bill people by printing off their completed orders in the backend.

on the CORPORATE Home page towards the bottome there is ‘Company News’ and three boxed pulling in info from the posts
Ive divided that row into halves and put a twitter feed in one side – the other id like to put the company news BUT can i just have two post show there so they fit more neater then the three that are squashed in for some reason?

At the moment we don’t have an option to change the number of news items to display. We’ll add that suggestion as a potential future update.
I’d suggest changing the grid to perhaps 2/3 and 1/3 or even 3/4 and 1/4 – it might look neater then
