Ofcourse it’s a custom code, but this simple table (even if I try 2 rows and 2 columns) errors. When I try 5 other themes, nothing is wrong with it, so it must be in your .css code and that’s why you need to support this problem.

I manged to find these but for some reason it does not work. I have a flash banner from an affiliation website i am trying to work with but when pasting the code there it does not show up on the website.

1. Go blog widget 300×250 does not show your default png ad banner image. Hot sure why.

2. Text wigged does not show as well the sfw file that is in the affiliation code.

Thanks for your help but still not working. I copy pasted and swf banner still does not show on ad widget on website. I get title only displayed but not the swf banner as it should.

Code is showing in html if i inspect this with web developer ad don from mozilla but does not show physical on website.

Its not bug. Your code is not formatted properly. Do this – Repalce all quotes and type quotes again then it will work for sure.

Sure, will do. Have another issue that i cannot find fix. I want to take out the border for the banner that i added. I found a way but it takes out all the borders for all widgets added and i want to take it away for only the added banner. Should i add this in css or can i do if from dashboard?

I can’t see any border for banner but for whole banner widget.

Yes, the border of the widget, but only for recently added text widget, rest should stay with border.

You can add following CSS code in Custom CSS textarea in theme options:

Worked. Thanks. Other 2 minor issues:

1. For some reason i noticed that the banner is notdisplayed ad 300×250 as it should doe to this css rule

img, video, object, embed { height: auto !important; max-width: 100%;}

If i disable height: auto !important; the banner is begin displayed at the proper size. How can i overwrite this from css, basic same process but I am not sure about the code i should write there.

2. banner is not centered. Is a little bit on the left. There is no margin or padding added to it. Why is not displayed on center of the widget?

Please wait for the next update. I will be modifying the ad widgets and you will no longer need to use text widget for such flash ads. You will be able to use separate ad widgets and it will be centered too. These widgets are added in my latest UBlog theme and these will be available in GoBlog too in next update.

1 – Had the same question as Cecilia7 regarding banner ads appearing under the Header – more specifically, can the slider be used and if so – how would the size be controlled

2 – Is here a way to control the number of posts appearing on the summary page from the standard 10? (If so – where would that be set)

- do you explicitly support banner ads and if not – can your slider below header be used for that – didn’t notice any settings or documentation on size settings

- is there a way to have some other date format in a post besides just day/month in block form – seems it’s either that one format or nothing

- can the number of posts be defined to override the standard 10 posts which can turn things into a very long page if graphics are used

- had another question about the side bars but can’t remember what it was anymore

1. Yes, banner ads can be added in sidebar, footer and in post detail page (below post title and post content).

2. Currently, only this date format is possible. In coming updates, I will be adding option to add more date formats.

3. Yes, you can show as much posts as you want on a single page.

4. You can ask it whenever you recall it

Was looking for a full page banner ad – either on summary page or single post (preferably one which can be control by page to over-ride any general setting). – Same concept as your current slider below header. That might even be usable if there was some info as to size of graphic that could be used

Question about number of posts was to limit the number of posts shown – didn’t see where that would be set for example from 10 to 5 etc

As for date – the current format only makes sense for someone who has posts from a single year since there is no other way to identify them – would they at least be presented in the correct order since only the day/month is shown (i.e. Dec 1, 2014, June 1, 2014, Dec 1, 2013, June 1, 2013)

Graphic banner of any width can be used in slider.

Setting number of posts is default WordPress function that’s why it is not shown in screenshots. Only theme specific functions are shown. But you can set the number of posts from settings.

I am already planing to add or modify date format in next update.

Thanks – forgot about the WP # of post setting which I remembered afterwards. Theme I’m changing from had it as an option directly within the theme over-riding the WP setting.

Re: slider – does it repeat the graphic used or can it made static? If the graphic doesn’t repeat within the slider – then it would be perfect for rotating banner ads

Re: Date – any idea of how long before that is implemented? What kind of change are you planning to make (i.e. as a configurable date that can be included with author etc – as an alternative to block mode?)

In the current version, the slider repeats the graphic but in the next version it is changed to cover the space and not repeat itself.

Date is also modified for next version. Added two spaces for date in post – One in post header and other in post footer. Year also attached to date in current post date in header. This update will be released soon now.

Just to clarify – when you say add spaces for date in post header – do you mean directly in the current Date Block or something that is generally found in most other themes – underneath the header on the same line where the author would appear (if selected). Not used to a date taking so much space and focus in a post title – date is typically just an information item in a sub-text line.

Sorry for all the questions but prefer to go thru key items before purchase – have wasted too much money in the past finding out about limitations after the fact. Only reason I’m planning a theme change now is because my current adsense enabled theme is not responsive.

No I mean new update has these two modifications for date:

- Added year in current date block in post title area - Added another space for date on the bottom where you see post icon, tags etc. Fornat of date in this space can be changed from WordPress settings to any possible format you want.

First – provide some doc about a recommended size for a graphic to be used as a non-repeating slider so that it gets centered (take up the full width of the slide) – am assuming that would work properly regardless of whether full width or boxed mode is selected (or at least documentation regarding any limitations that may apply between the two formats) Second – add a YouTube Social button so can link directly to a Youtube channel (something useful for How-to or Product review type blogs)

I have fixed the problem by resetting every section of the theme options menu to default. Please make notice that manipulating the default WP theme sections delete the theme settings.

Which settings you changed? I changed many settings here but theme works fine.

i changed to the boxed version of the template, using the genuine WP settings in the left menu (not the theme settings) under “weergave” >> this causes a complete failure of the template design. I had to restore it by manually resetting every section in the theme options menu.

You might be doing something wrong. And there are two reset buttons – one for section and one to reset all sections. If you want to reset all sections, press the other button.

Yeah shure, i know something is going wrong. I figured that out myself. Listen, i can show you if you want to: i have a completely set-up WP site with this template and when i manipulate the genuine WordPress settings instead of the added template settings, the complete template goes corrupt. If you want me to show you, ask me 24 hours in advance please, so i can setup a copy of this project on another hosting. I don’t feel like losing a project again…

I’m sorry, i cant give you login details of a online client to investigate the collapse of the theme … i’m just telling you that manipluating the genuine WP settings causes a crash of the template.

Sure! When the theme is completeley installed and customised (widgets – menu – pages – ...) i clicked to the template page displaying all the available templates. > then the blue button on the template itself, called customize (i don’t know the exact name, we work in dutch)

Then you enter a different settings menu then the “theme options”, but with similar settings. I changed the setting under layout type from full width to boxed and back again to full width. After that the template collapses.

No, theme don’t have any error. 500+ purchases and no other user facing this error. So something must be wrong on your end. I need your functions.php file that is changed to check the issue.

But it is specific this theme that causes this error, when I change the setting to the default Wordpress theme, everything is working fine. How is it possible that my functions.php is changed when I did nothing? I try to upload functions.php very soon so you can check.

It may happen because of some plugin. Sometimes plugin may add such code to functions.php file. I want to see what code is changed in the file.
