Sir , can buy this template to use my application which i gonna develop ERP application and upload codecanyon , please give me a genuine answer .
Hi,
Unfortunately, not. There’s not any license for this purpose which is redistribution.
Cheers.
Hi; Times New Roman font template when I was running.
Hi,
We load Open Sans font from google fonts. Probably you open the website in your device with file:// protocol right? And that’s why it can’t load the font from google. You should open it in your local host or anything that load it using http:// or https:// protocol.
ok works… thank you
Hello, I’m trying to find the simplest admin template. I also emailed you about MetroLab. I need a template that is compatible with excel for the data base and quickbooks. Also can you help with the database set-up?
Obviously I’m new at this. Thanks, Michelle
Hello,
Here, all of the templates are HTML template and can’t use with excel. To connect them to a database, you need a server-side developer. So you can’t buy these admin templates and simply use them for your purpose.
At the time composing a mail does a lack a CSS, which you removed the own, source: bootstrap-wysihtml5 \ bootstrap-wysihtml5.js, makes a call to /lib/css/wysiwyg-color.css
It’s default css file for wysiwyg to load custom styles. If you want to get rid of this error, you should change $(’.wysihtml5’).wysihtml5(); to $(’.wysihtml5’).wysihtml5({“stylesheets”: []}); in flaty.js file, or send me an email through my profile page to receive updated js file.
Hi! I am looking for a wp-admin responsive theme to can see woocommerce orders in a smartphone
Is it possible with your theme? Thanks Regards Juan
Hi,
Unfortunately, no. It’s html template, you can’t use it in Wordpress.
I have downloaded FLATY after pay the money. I try to customize it. I found that when I click to request a new page from the left menu, it is very slow to load a new page.
What can I do to speed up them?
Pera K.
Are you running it from your computer? outside of localhost? And are you connected to internet? Becaus FLATY load fonts and jQuery from internet, if you’re not connected to internet it has to wait for not responding error to load from local host. You can remove the following line from your files to load jQuery locally:
<script src=”//ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/2.1.1/jquery.min.js”></script>
Hi, theme looks to include CSS files and JS files. Is it possible to get styles in LESS format? What JS files are containing (is it helper functions or are they required to use this theme)? Application on which I want to apply this theme is already developed. It’s not possible to change javascript code at this point. But obviously, we’ll change html templates to use proper classes. Also, it says it’s easily customizable. Without less files, how can I change globally colors, sizes, ...?
Thanks
Hi,
Unfortunately, I didn’t write it in LESS at that time, it’s a plan well-commented CSS file.
The flaty.js file is required, it take care of sidebar, menu, theme setting, initializing some of plugins, etc. But you can omit flaty-demo-codes.js file based on your needs. This file contains codes to config some plugins that may be used occasionally (i.e knob, charts, form wizard, etc.). You may use this file based on the components that you put in your pages and you may require to change the code to fits your needs.
I applied this theme to an existing project for a customer a couple of years ago. So I suppose you won’t encounter to any specific problem.
Thanks for your answer!
My other concern is about charts: does the theme support chartjs library or only flot?
No, it doesn’t support chartjs by default, but I suppose you can add it easily.
Hi,
In sidebar menu, Is it possible to have a single-expanded item at a time? I mean, if I have an expanded item A and click in item B,it will expand B and collapse A.
Thaks Roberto
Hi,
We don’t support this feature, but you can simply add this functionality to your theme by editing flaty.js.
Open flaty.js and add following code before line 158:
$(this).parent().siblings().children('.submenu:visible').slideUp(400).siblings('.dropdown-toggle').children('.arrow').attr('class', 'arrow fa fa-angle-right');
So you’ll have something like this:
...
}
$(this).parent().siblings().children('.submenu:visible').slideUp(400).siblings('.dropdown-toggle').children('.arrow').attr('class', 'arrow fa fa-angle-right');
submenu.slideToggle(400, function(){
...
very good. working like a charm !!! thank you
You’re welcome
Hi there,
Out company recently bought a copy of this template.
I have a few questions though:
1. How do you install this? I installed it From the NuGet packages and coppied teh style sheets and the .js file. Do i need to copy over the assets folder too? I have bootstrapmvc installed currently and JQuery. But there is a whole lot of items in the assets folder not installed.
2. What is the update procedure with this? If you made some updates to the templates due to a bug lets say. How do we get that new copy with the bug fix?
I am a bit reluctant to copy the assets files out right and would much rater it being installed via nuget so i can run updates on those packages if I need to.
Can you give me some recommendations on how to install this properly?
Thank You. Shane
Hi,
1. How did you install it using NuGet?!! This item is a HTML admin template and we haven’t put in NuGet!
2. You will be notified by email if we update the template. You can download and replace css, js and assets files in your project.
This template is not installable, you will use it to design the front-end part of an admin area for your project.
Ah ok cool thank you for your reply. We installed TwitterBootstrapMVC.Flaty.MVC4 for support with our Razor views.
Hello author, do you any plan in update this item with most recent libraries? Thank you in advance
Hello,
I didn’t have any plan to update it, because it’s stable right now. But let me see, I’ll update my local repository to new versions and if it was still stable, I’ll release it
Cool! Just a way to let us know that you don’t forget us
It’s updated right now
Everything looks fine! Thank you so much!
I was trying to add a dropdown selector to our application and for that purpose I used the same methods as shown for the horizontal menus: http://shamsoft.net/flaty/ui_horizontal-menu.html
There is an issue, though: we also have a sidebar navigation menu, and I didn’t know we could only have one of them in small screens.
What happens is that the sidebar menu takes precedence and the dropdown selector in the horizontal menu at the top is hidden.
Is there a way for us to show both menus on small screens?
Hi,
Unfortunately it needs a lot of css change. But why you simply don’t use a drop-down menu instead of horizontal navbar? Please take a look at ul.flaty-nav > li.user-profile. I guess it’s what you need
Well, I wanted it to have the same look and feel of the user menu, so I went for the horizontal menu, which would give me exactly that.
I’ll have a look at those CSS rules, see what I can come up with.
Thanks!
I tried using the user-profile class but that doesn’t work either, because that way the actual user menu disappears.
To put this differently: is there a way for us to maintain the sidebar menu and the user menu, and add another dropdown menu on the top navbar, pulled to the left?
I meant that .user-profile is what you need to implement, but not exactly with that class and .hidden-xs wrapper.
Please send me an email from my profile page (http://themeforest.net/user/ShaMSofT), I’ll send you an example html file.
Hi, I want buy this theme. But I have one question. Is this Template also supports right to left?
Hi. No, it doesn’t support RTL.
Hello author, My site has one year with your theme. It was the best option. Thank you for support this item. Recently, I have adquited a ssl certificate for my site, and I just want to let you know a note. It is better keep this protocol for the font:
@import url(//fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Open+Sans:300,400,600,700);
instead of
@import url(http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Open+Sans:300,400,600,700);
SSL certificate will block all content particially not encrypted. So, if it happens, your site wil not render the font propertly (“captain_planet” had a similiar problem but locally). Just keep in mind. Author, thank you so much again.
Hello,
I’m so glad to hear it from you. Also, thanks for reporting this issue
Everywhere we have a label that takes more than one line, the label and the corresponding input field get misaligned vertically.
This can be verified in http://themes.shamsoft.net/flaty/form_component.html
Labels of smaller length are aligned with the vertical middle of their input field but if you scroll down to the field that says “Prepended and appended input”, you will notice it is not aligned like the others.
There are other fields like that further down on that page, all of them having multi-line labels.
The pattern I see is that this happens everywhere a label is long enough to get broken into more than one line. It looks like either the input field gets pushed up a few pixels, or the label gets pushed down
Was hoping it would be an easy fix
Each label has a 7px padding top. It’s from bootstrap! Do you have better way to vertically align labels?
So you don’t see this as an issue? <confused>
http://i.imgur.com/wWI0u13.pngThe solution would be if it wraps to 2 lines to vertically align the top of the 1st line with the top of the input field. Then it wouldn’t look so strange.
The problem is that there is not any pseudo class in css to figure it out that your label is broken to two lines! If it was possible, I’m pretty sure that solution would be implemented by bootstrap.
Ok fair enough, just checking
I’m obviously not a CSS dev.
It sounds like this answer would work:
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/17845864/twitter-bootstrap-vertically-align-input-with-label-inside-control-groupThis solution will stretch label horizontally, if it’s too long. In this case, controls are not aligned equally to the left (you can see demo). I don’t accept this solution as a general solution which should be used by all customers. But if you want, you can simply add the code to your css.
Hi,
We are getting troubles with safari if the theme is using horizontal menu and is in small mode.
The problem happens also in iphone.
Can you send a patch?
Hi,
Sorry for delay. Is it just opening menu? add following code to flaty.css:
#nav-horizontal.collapse.in {
height: auto;
}
Insert it after ”#nav-horizontal” selector.
Hi, Thanks for the reply. The problem happen when you have submenus. The submenu appears at the back of the menus.
Hi,
Please send an email to me (you can do it from my profile page). I’ll send you the updated files.
horizontal menu not auto collapsed is possible resolve ?
submenu.slideToggle(400, function(){
Add following code immediately after the line (inside function):
if (!$(submenu).is(":hidden")) {
$(this).prev(".dropdown-backdrop").on('click', function() {
submenu.slideToggle(400);
});
}
Not result effect please see partial code and your code :
//Horizontal menu dropdown
$('#nav-horizontal a.dropdown-toggle').click(function() {
var submenu = $(this).next('.dropdown-menu');
var arrow = $(this).children('.arrow');
if ($('#nav-horizontal.nav-xs').size() > 0) {
if (arrow.hasClass('fa-angle-right')) {
arrow.addClass('anim-turn90');
}
else {
arrow.addClass('anim-turn-90');
}
}
if ($('#nav-horizontal.nav-xs').size() == 0) {
$('#nav-horizontal > li > .dropdown-menu').not(submenu).slideUp(400);
}
});
submenu.slideToggle(400, function(){
});
if (!$(submenu).is(":hidden")) {
$(this).prev(".dropdown-backdrop).on('click', function() {
submenu.slideToggle(400);
});
}
if ($('#nav-horizontal.nav-xs').size() > 0) {
if($(this).is(")) {
arrow.attr('class', 'arrow fa fa-angle-right');
} else {
arrow.attr('class', 'arrow fa fa-angle-down');
}
arrow.removeClass('anim-turn90').removeClass('anim-turn-90');
}
submenu.slideToggle(400, function(){
});
Here is the complete code:
//Horizontal menu dropdown
$('#nav-horizontal a.dropdown-toggle').click(function() {
var submenu = $(this).next('.dropdown-menu');
var arrow = $(this).children('.arrow');
if ($('#nav-horizontal.nav-xs').size() > 0) {
if (arrow.hasClass('fa-angle-right')) {
arrow.addClass('anim-turn90');
}
else {
arrow.addClass('anim-turn-90');
}
}
if ($('#nav-horizontal.nav-xs').size() == 0) {
$('#nav-horizontal > li > .dropdown-menu').not(submenu).slideUp(400);
}
submenu.slideToggle(400, function(){
if (!$(submenu).is(":hidden")) {
$(this).prev(".dropdown-backdrop").on('click', function() {
submenu.slideToggle(400);
});
}
if ($('#nav-horizontal.nav-xs').size() > 0) {
if($(this).is(":hidden")) {
arrow.attr('class', 'arrow fa fa-angle-right');
} else {
arrow.attr('class', 'arrow fa fa-angle-down');
}
arrow.removeClass('anim-turn90').removeClass('anim-turn-90');
}
});
});
Hi. I’m migrating my ASP.Net website to this template. When the page posts back to the server, it breaks the Sidebar menu (I can no longer expand the menus etc). I know why this is – I usually have to rebind javascript functions manually after postback. Is there a JavaScript function that (re)initialises the sidebar menu? Thanks.
Hi,
No, there isn’t any reinitialisation function to call, but you can simply make it. Open flaty.js and go to the line 133, where sidebar codes begins. You can simply define a function to execute all of the codes.
Hi. Great template. Is there a way to add another menu depth to the sidebar? I currently have:
Menu ......Sub Menu ..........Sub Sub Menu
But would like:
Menu ......Sub Menu ..........Sub Sub Menu ...............Sub Sub Sub Menu
However when I add a third depth it doesn’t render correctly. Many thanks. Sorry – new lines aren’t working in these comments!
Hi, thank you
Unfortunately, I have to say no. As you know, there is just three level of menu.
Hi,
I sent you an email to support@shamsoft.net regarding the charts.
Hi,
Answered.
Would it be possible to provide some styling for fieldsets??? Thanks.
Unfortunately no, because we don’t have any plan to add new features
