that is for company pages there should be a option to add the job openings. and if a company adds a job it should show on the company page and at the home page under classifieds under jobs. please see the screenshot for understanding. This make the website more user friendly.
. The same you can do for Events also, that is when a event is added in the company page, it can also show in the home page under classifieds, so people can easily see each event, without going to the company pages, which is more user friendly. Hope you understood it

it will behave similar to omega theme (but it will have a complete different code)

It would be kind of weird if we all had the same awesome features, but we all looked the same.
Are you going to work on this? If so, how?
Also, if you don’t, how would you suggest that we completely customize the look. PSD, HTML and CSS? Better be hiring a designer soon.

that’s why we’re building it as a plugin so that you could add it to a third party theme and/or restyle the css of the plugin + in terms of customization you’ll have unlimited colors, then of course by adding the right images, icons etc,,, you’ll get a unique feeling

Hello Everyone, thank you all for your interest in Globo, we decided to make a directory plugin which we will use for Globo theme, Glocal theme and Metrodir theme, so that we the same back-end for all our directories, this means that glocal and metrodir will be having a brand new back-end, all information will be easily transferred. we need approximately a month, we already have 40% of the work done as the directory plugin will be built on top of the careers plugin that we will submit this week. all this is going to look great so guys we thank you for your interest & support and will be updating you with the status within our new portal, hopefully that will be launched this week Cheers UOU

Awesome design !
I have a little suggestion about the ads. In the theme, the lists are listed with a title, a photo, and the first lines of the description.
It could be interesting to have the contact details instead of the description. Phone number, address, this kind of stuff.
You know, just like in the classical yellow pages, no need to clic to see the contact details.
If you can make something in the config panel of the thème to switch between description mode / contact details mode, this could increase the sales (and make me happy 
).
Anyway, good job ! I look forward to the wordpress version of this theme !

I like the design so much. Congrats to all the team who has worked for this. I would like to know when the wordpress version of the website is launching. Please let me know, I look forward for it. Can I able to get the wordpress theme before Christmas. Also I have a suggestion for company page is that, there should be a follow us / LIKE button, so users can follow the company page, this can be helpful for all companies to get more visitors to the profile and next suggestion is that under company page there should be a jobs, when companies can post the job openings. and if a company post jobs, it should come to the home page under classifieds listing under job category , so it will be more userfriendly. Also if the company is Hospital/ clinic, there should be a option to add a button like “book an appointment” and for hotels there should be a button for “reserve now”

thanks for sharing your thoughts we’ll have a wishlist section launched soon, and we’re about to launch this week our job plugin which can be reused in any theme including globo + as you can see we have in-house booking & reservation plugins, so we’ll have a whole set of addons that people can get on demand , we prefer to do it like this so that it offers more scalabillity
next week we will start our roadmap so i’ll keep everyone posted witha link so that you can follow the progress

One thing is all i am after! I am trying to find a directory like yours BUT one thing is missing from everyone of them, SOCIAL MEDIA.
Business listings should display it in my opinion!
You have them for the ‘Our Team’ but can you also have it on the frontend of the business listing, ?

well we’re really fans of App themes and Rob deserves the credit, it’s nice to see authors doing app oriented themes (well I just hope not too many are going to do them as competition is getting intensive, but if we could create of club of Directory themes and bundle them all for 1000$ I would say no )
so can you explain what do you mean by social media, are you talking about social network connects or are you talking about an internal social networking facility within the Globo theme so that companies can connect between them etc… ?
if you’re simply talking about the share button we can do something like this: http://uouapps.com/salam/search-results.html checkout the the share button on hover for every listingor
we can do it as the extension of the listing on http://uouapps.com/careers/jobs.html when you click on the + button then you can read more and see the share buttons with social networks

Hi there, some things I cant see on demo and would like to request for WP version..
1. for each listing page an area for business opening hours/social media links/ contact details / reviews / small google map and tag’able service keywords eg: vegetarian restaurant, kosher food, which can be found if term is used in search bar.
2. Premium Ad spots on home page..
3. Ability for business to claim a listing.
4. Ability for a business to reply to a posted review
5. Paypal or merchant payments options
Also would you know offhand if WP version will be visual composer compatible?

the ultimateclientmanager, is quite a robust platform I just think that it’s too big and will require too many customization from your end, while a script like the one above (I’m not necessarily pushing you on this one) but I’m saying that a script that is based on listings & classifieds would be easier and a better fit to customize it on a tailor-made basis

I just saw that you purchased & left a comment to the other author, to download the item you need to go to your downloads section, so once you’re logged in go to :
http://themeforest.net/downloadsthen once you’re on the item you click on the download button you’ll get a submenu to download the package or to download the license, so you need to download the package
if you’re experiencing issues in downloading it from envato then open a thread on TF someone from Envato staff will help you out (they’ll ask you to open a ticket so it’s better if you open it already)
let me know how it goes with the item your purchased from the other author, we also contacted him last week

If i purchase GLOCAL – Directory & Listings Wordpress Theme will Globo Wordpress theme be backward compatible?
In other words can I simply upgrade from Glocal to Globo one the WP version is release?
Hi, sorry about the delay,yes we will facilitate the transition so that all content posted can easily be exported and imported between glocal and globo, just one little clarification when we first interacted last month I told you that we would reuse th back-end of Glocal theme, while we decided to use a complete different back-end with redux framework so it won’t be the same back-end as Glocal Cheers UOU

you’re welcome, I hope not, I’m expecting the developers to have it ready in max a month but based on my experience with the deliveries, developers tend to be too optimistic about ETA
as far as I’m concerned, if Globo is ready before the 17th of december then we’ll publish it if not then we’ll prefer to wait for the first year of January because during Christmas period activity is a bit low on TF and we won’t get enough exposure so all i can say is that Globo is num1 priority and is linked to the careers plugin (job plugin) it will be built on top of it and should be submitted this week

trust me Globo is our big big priority it’s just that it will be powered by the engine of careers plugin which we’re waiting for it to be ready this week, we’re having a tough time with the reviewing process which is affecting our workflow process, they just approved our new real estate theme after 2 weeks of soft-rejections + we’re making some changes to our support process which should be ready this week-end then from Monday on i’ll be fully operational and will be providing the roadmap for Globo so i really appreciate your patience and apologize for the delay, i’m doing my best to have it ready before Christmas but we’ll keep everyone posted
