Awesome theme… I’m wondering if there is a way to duplicate the three coumns below the featured slider? A;lso, could it be linked to a regular page, with column instead of post?

You mean the 3 columns at the top module position ? Of course you can duplicate and you can enter the button: read more and be linked to another page (regular page)

Hi guys Sorry I am very new to Joomla. I am attempting to use multiple layouts on multiple pages but now sure how to change the layout for the site or more specifically for different pages. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry we were late to answer your questions.
We can only choose one Layout Profile at Main Position (Left + Main + Right) for the entire website. Our advice to get more variations in the layout of each web page, you can select the layout of 3 columns Profile (Left + Main + Right). So you can put the modules in left position only or in the right position only. Or it could put the module in both left and right positions at once.

Yes you can, go to directory CSS (..\intermezzo\css\ ) then open template.css search : ”#ja-header .main”
The default height is 30px, you can add it to max. 75px.

have you entered the google map key for your website address?, because it requires the module map google map key.
The google map key that we input in the quickstart is key only for our website at www.worldquests.com / Intermezzo.
You can get the key from here:

You need signup first to get the key. After you get the key, you can input it on Parameters in GMapFP in Joomla component Administrator.

Hello, Just recently installed Intermezzo template for Joomla for a non-profit website at www.cvylax.net, and have run into the following issues. Some solutions are probably very simple for you, but I really need your help…
1. Can not find the file where I can change the footer copyright text… please show me where?
2. IE displays a different header than what Firefox and Safari, which displays properly. Any hints?
3. How do I change or remove “WELCOME TO THE FRONT PAGE ” on my home page, both on the page, as well as the website title??
4. Most importantly: Pages that I build do not display… when I click the link to an article, it displays a blank white page that says “No input file specified. ”, that’s it.

based on your question:
1. we use a custom HTML module, do not use the module copyright. By using a custom HTML module, it would be easier for us to put the copyright text and logo in the footer. We recommend that you install the quickstart from the main file on localhost. So you can see and learn how to setup all the Intermezzo template.
2. We were not quite understand the question. Is the header on the frontpage? please explain it more detailed. Because after we check your website using the IE rendering, everything just looks like in Firefox and Safari.
3. To modify “WELCOME TO THE FRONT PAGE ” on the title in the main Web browser, go to Menus – Main menu * in Joomla administrator, and click Home, then click the Parameters (System) on the right side from the Menu Item: [edit]. You can change the Page Title. And to remove it from the frontpage, just select NO on Show Page Title (under the Page Title).
4. After we check the link on your website, it shows the broken link. There may be errors in the link set. As we suggested in the question number 1, you can learn it from the quickstart.

I really would like to have some help on the topics bellow:
1. How do I do to take off or just change the T3 ENGINE pic? 2. At the Contact tab I need to translate: “Your name”, “Your e-mail”, ” Your subject”, “Your message”, “E-mail a copy of this message to your own address. ” and the button “Send” to my own language mate. Actually I did instal the whole tema in my language but this topics still didn’t get the translation.

Hi Twincore, great theme, no problem on install and everything has been working great.
I have a question about the site slogan (when using a text title version instead of an image logo.) The slogan appears too close to the bottom bar that separates it from the menu bar, and “jumps” on top of that bottom bar that appears underneath the slogan, but not exactly on top of it, So it looks disalignend. I have no problem with the bar but with the fact that I cannot separate the slogan away from that bar, nor the slogan falls nicely and completely onto that division I am trying to describe.
I am developing locally, so I cannot show exactly what I mean, but if I am not clear enough please tell me how to send you a screen-shot I will.

Good news, colour changing is workling!!!
Thanks so much . . . now we have more work ahead to update our site hahaha. We are releasing a new K2 template this week and might even use this template for the demo, watch out for a link.
I have just one comment. Its great to have the template version info on the template configuration, but it is a huge list. Stupid as it may seem, but we have to scroll and scroll and scroll to get to change the theme, then the same to get back to the top to apply it. Unless of course you use the keybopard keys.
But congrats again.
Anyone considering buying this, take from us, its a great templateT3 is starting to grow on me. JATypo, its just replaced out long running favourite typo extension.

Is it mandatory for the T3 Framework to have PHP 5 ? My whole site and back end crashes when I activate the T3 Framework plugin.

hosting provider we use, uses PHP 5 . We do not know exactly whether T3 Framework requires the use of PHP 5 . Since there is no explanation about what the requirements in the use of T3 Framework.

But we recommend that you use PHP 5 and please ask to your hosting provider about this.

I just compared these two version of the download, seems that there a bit of change and update is confirmed in the revisions. Although the revision as been upscaled, dates not been changed so dont know when this was done so can only go by the dates of the zip creation.
The biggest thing I found was that the number of themes, names and missing ini files. I am sure you will know that already by comparing the previous image of the available themes shown.
So, uninstalled intermezzo, uploaded the new version, whole new list of themes selected ant_lightblue_dark_skin. Applied, still no change.
We have to give up at that stage and remove the template.
This is the first time we have not been able to get a template to work, most likely due to framework. But installations of this type should be easy and straight forward and work, sorry to say it had promise but if it does not work.

Sorry about the issue date of the update, we forgot to replace it, we just replaced his version.
About why change the new update files is too late and there are available on 26 nov, because the update files first must be reviewed by themeforest, so it may take 1-2 days to get the latest update file that would be downloaded in themeforest. So we may be too quick to write an update on the description on the our site Themeforest
File version 1.1.0 changed from 2 MB to 4.6 MB due to the addition of theme Dark Skin. For any kind of change, we also have written it on our site themeforest. We will write a description of changes to the version and date on the Theme Intermezzo itself. Thank you for your input.
Regarding the color problem, we just tested it again to try over and over again on other websites that we have and everything went well, even we tested almost all the colors and everything works nice and smoothly. There are a few of them which takes a little longer to apply the color. So it works, but takes a little time.
Sorry we were also confused, why is this problem can happen on you.
If there is a problem as you experienced, we usually apply the color we want and then logout from joomla. Turn off all browse that we use. Take time for coffee break then we go back open the browse and we get a color change that we want
Maybe it works on you too.

Please note! There could be several reasons why profile override settings don’t work when using SEF . Why? Within a Joomla! website, there could be several links to route to certain internal pages, and these links don’t always carry an Itemid value, but other SEF components like sh404SEF can solve the problem because it makes sure to route all these links with no Itemid value to the corresponding ones having Itemid=5 value. So having Itemid, T3 Framework will load the proper profile.

today, we have updated the template to version 1.1.1 regarding the color change problem, we have improve the profile color from Theme Intermezzo.
But be patient, as we have told before, the latest update files must be review by Themeforest. It maybe take one day.
And if it is approved, we will announce it in the description of our site Themeforest.

Just a follow up on the above issue. After spending a long time going through all the docs again, decided to make our own theme and followed the step in the help file.
- First step go to themes directory of intermezzo template (path: yourSiteName.com/templates/intermezzo/core/themes/) and copy theme folder : colorCustomize.
- Rename this folder that you want name your theme.
- Open info.xml file and edit fallowing code:
Modified the code, uploaded the new theme, does not appear in backend in the theme list.
Just redownloaded and noticed that there is a new version!! Having only downloaded on the 24th I dont see any announcement that there has been updates.
My download from 24th has a template zip date of 03/11/2010 size 2Mb with a CRC of 45CDFCB2 The new download today date of 26/11/2010 size of 4.6Mb with CRC E4E33891
Thats a big change!
Whats frustrating is there no where on TF that allows devs to show current file versions and upload dates.
Maybe you can explain what the changes are please?

I too am having problems getting the themes to change, I also followed the guide you list in the comment above.
If I change the default to any other theme, using all pages, it does not change.
All plugins are installed and enabled.
I tried this on our main site, then used a clean Joomla install and both cannot change.
Normally I use Firebug to be able to check this kind of problem, but due to how T3 framework is set up, its not identifying which theme is loaded, or at least, i cant see it.
Despite having the cache in the framework set to disable, I still had to clear Joomla cache as T3 was list, then I got some colour change, but only light versions. I am trying to get the same colour as: http://www.worldquests.com/intermezzo/?profile=Ant_Blue_dark_skin

K2Joom is pleased to have chosen this template to become the next primary template on our website.
Its uploaded at the moment, but not functional due to the T3 framework requirement, which is causing conflicts which existing extensions. This is not Twincores problem, but another issue with JA integration with K2, a knew we kept away from JA for a reason
Anyway, once we have this up and running, we will post a link to show it and provide potential buyers some additional feedback.
On the face of it, this is a value for money template, thanks in part to all the extra shortcodes that have been added. We use YVBBCODE for extra and easy styling, so we are going to port Intermezzo shortcodes into that css file as well just to make our life a little easier.
