Hi,
My theme is displaying the Upcoming Shows/Upcoming Events in a bizarre order. I need it to show the the closest date first and the furthest date last… in that order. How do I do it???

How do I get the update with events manager?
If you have 1.0.3 versions you must replace file/folders.

your menu on the preview has a slide menu, how did you do that? Your home page has big text above the picture, how did you do that? How do I change the homepage layout from home page to homepage blog? Am I missing some documentation somewhere?

hard to say, since we never worked with it.
I am really stuck. I purchased this theme with the idea that I could have several muscians each having their own page with their own blog, CD’s and music for each CD, videos and events. From what I’ve gathered so far I can’t really do that. Can someone clarify and maybe explain how I can do this. I tried creating a page “artist” then a page for “dean” with parent = artist, then i created a page for music and a page for videos and made dean the ‘parent’... but this is not even close to what I wanted as it’s not really working out this way. What I want is to be able to click on each artist, then have a “discography” page with all their CD’s and each CD links to a “music page” where they can sample then be redirected to buy the CD.
I really could use some help as I’m really lost. Should I be using the custom side menu for each artist? and if so, how do I create those?

Firstly, great work on this, it’s a very powerful theme you’ve developed.
Secondly, I’m having a slight issue with the ‘Blog’ element of my site. I’ve created the page to house all the ‘Posts’ articles and added it to the menu fine, it’s just when I click on an article the form to leave a comment isn’t appearing at the bottom, under the article (content). Any ideas.?
I’ve enabled comments etc on the site and for the article(s) but nothing is appearing.

1- Where do i find the nginx.conf file?
2- How do I remove the thumbnails over the image in the portfolio? I don’t like the little thumbnails laid on top of each image in the slideshow at the bottom. I know this is a new addition since I upgraded but I prefer the old version where there are no thumnails over the image.

I keep getting this error every time i try to upload an image to the slider on the home page

Please help.
If you’re getting 413 Request Entity Too Large errors trying to upload with Nginx, you need to increase the size limit in nginx.conf . Add ‘client_max_body_size xxM’ inside the server section, where xx is the size (in megabytes) that you want to allow.

you mean some plug to Wordpress? Because the template doesn’t have the Events Calendar. In this theme you have Events Manager.

1) Does that mean I can disable the frame around the images if I wish? How?
2) And does the portfolio template automatically shrink and scale the images if I link to the full image size, or do I have to upload the exact thumbnail size. I want to keep page load sizes down for those on slower connections!

2 If upload the exact thumbnail size the template automatically won’t be changing dimensions. If you want you can change the compression ratio in Pendulum General settings.

What image sizes would you recommend having under Settings > Media to best fit with your theme?
In a related question, if you select a large size for the portfolio image does this slow down page load times compared to selecting a small image size (I won’t be using the lightbox – although I wish I could turn this off but switching off auto lightboxing doesn’t seem to work)

auto lightboxing – is only working with images added through WP media libary but this option doesn`t works with Easy Images. If you want disable ‘lightbox’ function in Easy images – get in touch with us through our contact form.
Hi, This theme is great. However – I am having a problem with the blog… In Settings > Reading I am using a static homepage, and the posts go to the blog page.
When I look at the blog page, the posts display just fine – but the sidebar does not appear. I’ve tried to change the template (using Homepage Blog), but when I change the template it does not effect the layout. Is the blog layout hard-coded somewhere, because I can’t seem to make any changes in the template file… Thanks!

2. Select sidebar e.g. Default

The problem is on the name of mail domain. So the problem is on the domain name, PHP can’t send the email because the sender email domain is invalid. Try change your email address in theme settings, and try again.
