Hi!
At the section-works I have a few articles, each with a slideshow of around 8 images. I seem to be unable to find out how these images are sorted; they are now random and I need them to be sorted (preferably by file-name). Is this possible? See: sanneknoll.nl

Hi Sanne,
The slideshow could be added from the articles you are displaying. Please edit the articles from backend: Content > Article manager > Your article > Images & Links > Caption (intro or full)
What says this field? perhaps something like:slide:images/something-else/
Which means the slideshow is build by adding the images located in that folder in your site.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I figured this. But how can I change the order in which the images are shown in the slideshow? Now they seem te be in a random order, but I would like to have a specific order.

By default seems is using the creation date of the file or the name of the file.
Example, try renaming the images in the following pattern: 1.jpg, 2.jpg, 3.jpg etc
Check if the images are being displayed in thats ame order.
Yes, I also thought it’s sorted on creation date or filename, but this doesn’t seem to be the case. I’ve tried both ordering on creation date and filename, but it still displays randomly. I cannot find out what causes this… Hope you can help me solve this.

Hola Garcia, me parece que la documentación es muy deficiente ya que no explica con suficiente detalle el uso de la plantilla y sus módulos, o al menos indicar cuando se realiza la compra que el uso de la misma requiere un nivel avanzado o mínimo de conocimiento en la programación de paginas web. Recuerde que existen muchos usuarios de paginas web que no necesariamente nos dedicamos a crear paginas y lo único que nos interesa es crear una pagina y poderla administrar nosotros mismos. Al no tener respuestas a mis “preguntas obvias” te puedo decir que fue una mala inversión de mi parte y espero que no les paso lo mismo a otros usuarios. saludos

Para asociar los artículos con los modulos como Last Works o My Isotope configura dichos módulos, en el parámetro Category elige las categorías de artículos a mostrar.
Crea modulos, y manualmente escribe en el campo de posición de módulo el nombre: services (como ejemplo). Esto mostrará este contenido en lugar del mensaje “You must set at least a module in the position services”

The google map position is created, you can created again if is your case.
Not sure if you mean you deleted something. Please try assigning your map or other module to the position googlemap Type manually in the module position field of your module.

You can go to Extensions > Mdule manager and search the modules with the word “About” in the name.

Another pattern is not installed … Modules and castom CSS installed by default when installing joomla and included in the template SimpleKey.

Hello! Need your help with social-icons, I would like to add (change) social icon witch is not included in your template. I would like to have the correct description of the icon, let say I will swap the tweeter icon for mine in EI-elements.png, I will use tweeter class to make it working but the description will stay tweeter. Please tell me where I can set up description I would like to have. I have seen some settings in layout.css, but it is somwhere else, I cant find it. Thank you in advance.

You can do that by editing the image file UI-Elements.png replacing the twitter icon with your own in the very specific place.

A question: how is possible to have the right link to open a portfolio item? In my website the arrow link doesn’t work. I also created a hidden menu with a link to the category but nothing. I’ve activated the SEO settings and changed the .htaccess as usual but it still doesn’t work.

The template doesn’t have an option to disable it, maybe you can try removing the media query code from the CSS files (inside the folder templates/vg_simplekey/css/). That may works but not sure if will work as you expected.

When I click the isotope items, it opens the overlay window for details, however all the browser freezes for seconds then it shows the content. Once i close the window, the website doesn’t scroll anymore and I cannot open another item in the isotope portfolio.
