How do I get a featured image behind the large header text on the testimonials page and blog page? I have set a featured image for all of the other ones and it works, but I’m not sure how to set it on these two.

When I upload the live sample xml, the Testimonials page doesn’t seem to be there. I am trying to set up a testimonials page like yours (http://renovation.progressionstudios.com/testimonial-type/), but I’m not sure how to set it up. Can you please help?

The Testimonials page is built automatically. You just have to link to it in the navigation. Check out the documentation under “Navigation Menus” if you need help adding it to your menu.

Where do we get the Demo Content XML file for the Renovate Theme?
It is included in the download. Just unzip the initial download from ThemeForest and check out the documentation. We have a video that covers how to install the demo content, it’s super simple after watching the video.

How to make portfolio thumbnails to be vertical not horizontal? Or change size of the thumbnails? In Function.php I have changed add_image_size(‘progression-portfolio-thumb’, 338, 600, true); but it doesn’t help
If you update the add_image_size function, you will need to add-in the image again OR use a plugin like this that regenerates the thumbnails automatically: https://wordpress.org/plugins/force-regenerate-thumbnails/

Is it possible to have multiple photos per project page? For example the portfolio page http://renovation.progressionstudios.com/portfolio-type/swardson-residence/#prettyPhoto has one photo. Even when clicked on, it seems to open a gallery of sorts but only with one photo.
1) Is it possible to replace that one large photo with a grid of photos that can be enlarged in a lightbox?
2) Can the gallery of sorts – when opened – display some text explaining the photo?
My client is looking to add renovation style projects as well where he can explain the work being done in each photo that is tied to the project.

Yeah, you can create a gallery multiple ways. Here is an example of the most simple gallery: http://renovation.progressionstudios.com/portfolio-type/jones-kitchen/
You can also have on featured image, and then add-in a gallery of images below in a grid that all open in the lightbox.
By default, you can display some text. The lightbox plugin we are using supports some basic captions if you wanted a line of text.

Hello there! Love this theme! One thing I am struggling to correct though, the revolution slider looks like it it trying to pull 2 sliders on my main page, however I can only find the one that is working, which I created. The other (on top) is giving me their error:
Revolution Slider Error: Slider with alias renovation-slider not found.

Yeah, you can select a custom image on each page. You can also set a random header image if you want to do that as well. Both options are built-in.

I am interested in buying the Renovation theme, but first, I would like to know: -what is the (maximum) response time with technical issues? -can I use the pictures from the demo version?

The maximum response time in our support forums is 24 hours. During normal business hours 8-5pm we respond very promptly, usually within a few hours. The images used in the demo are from stock photography websites. If you wanted to use them, we would provide you the location in which to purchase the image license.

This vulnerability was patched in February of 2014 (Nearly a year ago). This is not a concern to any Progression Studios buyers as we started using the Revolution Slider in our themes after this was patched. Hi, I’m having trouble with widgets. When I add the single highlight and featured work widget to the sidebar in the customize section, I see the changes with the text on. However, when I view the site, I only see an image and no text. How do I fix this please? Thanks!

Hey I have a roofing and contracting company that I’m using this theme for, is there any way to display their suppliers that they utilize?
It depends on how you would like to display this content. I would check codecanyon.net and wordpress.org if you wanted a map with a list of suppliers. If you just want to include supplier information, you can use the services post type OR portfolio post type.

Great theme! I’m able to create and customize the sliders, but there’s padding between it and the bottom of header image that I can’t seem to get rid of. There’s no padding above the slider in the settings. Any ideas? (This is happening in my portfolio posts)
