Hi, is it possible to make the post text full width instead of that boxed width?

Hi, could you tell me what the dimensions are for the header image? Thanks.

Answered in the support forum.

It has been four days. Still no response from you on my questions.

Hello, I’m going to try and explain this as simply as possible. I’m pretty set on purchasing the theme.

The way our website will function is we will have one major Topic, for example ‘My worst Job’ and within that Topic all our writers we write their responses. I’m trying to work out the easiest way for the website to function using your theme.

I like the layout of the archive demo page: http://themes.pixelwars.org/readme-wp/archives/

Could I change ‘Last 30 Posts’ to a topic and have all the supporting stories underneath, then further down another topic name followed by the stories?

We could always tag them as a category, but I’m not too keen on the rounded boxes around each category item, especially as some of the topic names might be long.

Let me know if you have any other ideas

Hi, post list style on the archives page is also same as on the homepage “latest from the blog”, and it is a shortcode and it has parameter for category, so i think you can create the page you wanted like this;

Category Name

posts list of this this category

Another Category Name

posts list of this this category

Another Category Name

posts list of this this category

Hi. How can I disable or remove the SHARE button that appear on top in every post?

You send me to a support forum where nobody answer… nice

Hi again, we will answer in your topic in a day, sorry for the delay.

I’m not asking for support. I am asking for clarification of your previous answer. What is this? You decide to make a clear answer difficult for me, now that I gave you money?

i guess this is a double post, replied in your previous message.

BECAUSE YOU DON’T ANSWER MY QUESTIONS!

all replied.

Just got notified of an update, but dont see any changes in the changelog?

Is there a way to organize posts by popularity rather than date?

Hi, sorry it is not possible by default, maybe you can achieve this with a plugin.

How does it calculate the minutes it takes to read? Length?

Hi, reading time is calculated by the word count in a post.

On the books page, how can I get that 3D design of the book with the spine showing after clicking ‘details’?

Hi again, please use our support forums for support requests, thanks.

Hi again, everything you see in the demo site is included in the theme, if you need help about setting up your theme please create a support ticket on our support forums.

Thank you.

On the ‘Books’ page, can those buy buttons actually lead to check out with PayPal

Hi, i think it might be possible with a plugin.

What about credit card?

there is no built in e-commerce system (paypal or credit card) in the theme, but it might be possible with a plugin.

Awesome work I might say. Going to purchase it soon. Also I just have 1 question in the home page the width of the div is 740px so is that fixed or is there ant way to use full width of the homepage? I guess you guys made it 740 because that is the way it looks more beautiful. Thanks for the awesome work.

Hi, yes it is possible make homepage full width. Thanks.

I’m going to purchase it today and maybe make it live soon :) Hope to get awesome experience like before, just improve your response time in support forum.

sure, thank you.

Hi. Is it possible to have users that can submit their own articles?

Okay thanks, and what if I have a self-hosted mp3 or video or youtube or image post? Can those all have image headers (with overlay text) like the regular blog post does?

Here are the single post views;

- self hosted video
http://themes.pixelwars.org/readme-wp/big-buck-bunny/

- self hosted image
http://themes.pixelwars.org/readme-wp/self-hosted-audio/

- post format image
http://themes.pixelwars.org/readme-wp/this-is-an-image-post/

this post (format-image) doesn’t have a featured image, but you can set a featured image, so it will have image header with overlay text just other posts.

Awesome thanks!

Hi, I’m considering buying the theme for my own portfolio, but before doing so, I would like to know if it is possible to implement the portfolio-page as a block on the homepage?

:)

That’s a nice idea we will add this feature in the next update. You will be able to add homepage modules to the portfolio page. Thanks for the feedback.

One last question: is it possible to center the heading and the underlying menu on the different pages (Gallery, portfolio, Books)

do you mean centering navigation menu in the header on some pages?

hi! i have installed the readme theme in http://revistaroulette.com but i don´t know how to modify the code to install a meta code in the web (the code are ads).

If you could tell me 1. which file i have to modify? 2. where in the text of the file should i paste the meta code?

Thank you so much! Alberto

I really like this template and I think I will use it for myself! Please I’d like to know if text and icons in “fun facts” can be linkable? Same question for “services” (on homepage on demo) Thanks by advance for your answer, and Merry christmas :)

Hi, that’s a nice idea. I will have that in mind for a next update. Thanks.

It is available now. Thanks

Hi pixelwars,

I purchased this theme but haven’t used it yet. I was just wondering if this theme has eCommerce or just Buy button in the books page?

Thanks.

Can you suggest me the good one… that suits my theme?

sorry, haven’t used any of them before. Btw, please use our support forums for future support requests, thanks.

Hey potential customers,
I bought the theme a month ago and I’m using it on my main website, so here are my two cents.

I like it overall, as it works just fine on a fast DV managed host, but be aware that you can’t change the link color, no matter what they say in the documentation. It just doesn’t work no matter how you change it in the customizer. I’ve asked them on the support forum multiple times to fix it and they never delivered. It’s been weeks of no answer and the latest updates didn’t change that.

Just saying, since maybe for some changing the link color is an important part of the branding and that unchangeable green color on the links is ruining it all.

Hey @pixelwars, I just checked the newly release 1.0.8 version and can confirm that the color change option works now.

I’m still wondering why hovering on the links makes it green? I haven’t selected any green colors anywhere.

It is the theme default, but we will add one more color-picker for it. Thanks for the feedback.

New version is available. Thanks

Hi, Where do I get all icon list? I like to chage the icon in short code. There no information in documentation.

Thanks

Hi,

Great theme! It looks as if you’re really paying attention to UX/UI trends and implementing them.

One element that looks off to me is the post with sidebar page. Would it be difficult to move both elements (the post and the sidebar) to the right, so the post is more centered?

Also, can the icons/sections for Services and Fun Facts link to separate pages? Can link hovers be a highlight color instead of underlined?

Thanks!

Hi, thank you, glad you liked it. They all can be changed with some custom css code. Thanks for the feedback.

Books section does not have a way to go to the entry? In the entry, there is a way to show the BUY button? I will only use that section as a blog. Thanks

I post something there. Other post get answers. Please, answer mine!

sure, replied in your topic.
