Hello, I purchased your theme awhile ago, am still using version 1.5 and its working fine. It’s a very nice theme perfect for my type of use. This is not really a support question, and I see my support has expired anyhow, it’s just a general question. Today I noticed your new 1.9 upgrade so I wanted to ask: Must I absolutely install the new version? I’m using a child theme with many modifications and I realize a theme upgrade should not effect the child theme, but why take chances if its working fine now… unless there is a security concern or something I need to take care of. If I do upgrade and my changes are lost or messed up can I uninstall and go back to 1.5? Thank you.

Installing the new update, is up to you. The theme update / changelog can be see in the item description / above comment and in the readme.txt file of the theme.
As for the security, is always better to keep everything up to date and you can save the version 1.5, in case something doesn’t work as it should!

The main colors can be changed from Theme Options > Style Settings. Individual elements, will require changes via /css/default.css file. Is the file with all colors from the theme.

I just have very small problems after importing everything and setting everything correctly, so probably you might help me fixing them and continue to enjoy this experience with Mag WordPress theme.

1. That’s a default WordPress function, the same settings for all Themes: Dashboard > Settings > Reading > Blog pages show at most.
2. You can translate the Theme to your own language. The theme includes .po & .mo files for easy translation, please read the Documentation for more info.

Hello I have a question about the default.po t file. I translated the default.po file and then upload it back in to the theme/languge folder, then deleted all cache on the hosting, and then nothing happend Is this theme, supposed to be translated somewhere else?

Hello! Does the theme support the display of accented Latin letters and non-Latin letters (Chinese, Korean, Japanese?). In normal wordpress most of the fonts deployed have trouble handling accented languages like Hungarian and would not display accented letters properly in titles of posts, category names etc.(and this website [envato] also does not display them, tried typing now…) Thank you!

My Theme use Google fonts, in the demo you can see the “Ruda” font. Anyway the theme comes with a plugin with over 600 Google Fonts, and if the the fonts can’t display the accents you are looking for, you can always delete the Google fonts and use a default one.
Also, you can test a theme to see how the font will look, by leaving a comment, for example here.

Hello! The theme works nicely so far (www.xiaolongimnida.hu) but the only thing I cannot work out from the documentation is why the comment section does not work. It is enabled in the settings and appears under the posts, but it is not clickable. When I want to click into the blank field at Comment, simply nothing happens. It behaves as if it were part of the background and not a text field. If it is not resolvable, can I add Disqus instead? Thank you!
Additional information: the commenting seems to work in IE and Firefox but not in Chrome (which I use by default)

Yes, it seems I’ve made a small mistake adding in css -webkit-backface-visibility: hidden; thanks for the notice.
In order to fix this, please open style.css file and go to line 63 and you’ll see this:
* { margin: 0; padding: 0; -webkit-appearance: none; -webkit-backface-visibility: hidden; /* < google chrome / Safari fixed issues os bad styling and opacity bug for owl-c. > */}
Please delete webkit-backface-visibility: hidden; and save the file and upload it via FTP, also you can change the file from Appearance > Editor > and open Stylesheet (style.css) file.
The theme was tested and works with Disqus plugin. Regarding the CSS issue I’ll add monday an update with the fix, thanks one more time for the notice.

Currently It doesn’t support that. It doesn’t have an option to make is smaller, the theme has only one slider, and is the big one as per demo. You need to manually customize the theme files for that, so I would suggest that you seek the help of a web developer.

Hello, I just sent you an email about a bug I found but its kind of important so I thought I’d post here also. The 300×250 ad link does not work. I added this code in the 300×250 Article Right Box:

And the box does not link to Yahoo. I just checked your demo site and your 300×250 ad box does not link to anything either (but your 728×90 does).
I’m surprised no one else has caught this. Please let me know when this is fixed, either here or by email. Great theme by the way!

Excuse me but if you read my post and email I said that I DID change the code in the Theme Options control panel, replacing the # symbol with a link. Under the Advertisement tab I entered this code within the 300×250 Article Right box:

As you can see I am using your default 300×250 image and linking it to Yahoo.com, but the link does not work on my post. I’m not sure why you still think I have the # symbol instead of a link. I will email you a screenshot of my Theme Options page so you can see it for yourself or I can even give you admin access.
As for your demo I’m not sure why you don’t have your 300×250 ads linking to anything. You obviously included links for the 728×90 to show that they work so it would be nice if you did the same for the 300×250 ads.
- Please, read again the comment for 300×250 the part with the (edit).
- Also, click again this: http://sandbox2.str8m.com/test-post-4/ like you can see everything works perfectly (if you click the banner will go to yahoo), is obviously that your server is using a caching plugin, if you read again the comment from the above, you’ll see that I’ve said click “Ctrl + F5”, again, when I create a theme everything is tested, and tested and tested to make sure that everything works perfectly. Mostly when something doesn’t work, is because the user / customer is new with everything / WordPress / Browsers and caching things, with all due respect.
