Hi,
We have a query on Registration Form.
1. Can we modify the fields in the registration form. We only want Email, Password, Confirm Password. Also there is no activation link sent to the mail id, how do we enable this.
Even in login, we want Email Id as the input field rather than User Name. If User Name is the key attribute for the profile, we can copy the Email Id value (given by the user during registration) to User Name field and complete the registration. That way, login will also be taken care of.
Is this possible, if so, how can we achieve this. Please let us know the code changes that are required to be done?

The impression I got on this theme is that it’s very good for normal screens but for mobile users it might become a nightmare… too many spots to get where you need to be, too many tabs to hide in order to see what’s underneath. In other words, it wouldn’t be wise to activate all widgets and sidebars from Wordpress. Performance speed is the key in a directory theme (I think) It would be useful that Envato puts a device choice to test the theme on smaller monitors, because I’m really interested in this theme.
One question: do all demos come with the package?

First of all, all of demo data are included and you can import them whichever you want. we have been working on mobile parts. I believe mostly fine. this is responsive style. therefore widgets, sidebars are showing on mobile. I know it’s little long on mobile. we will keep working on it to make it better.

Hi, Pre-purchase question please. Is it possible to have all categories and sub-categories for each city? For instance xyz.com/city1/maincategory/sub-category/ xyz.com/city2/maincategory/sub-category/ xyz.com/city3/maincategory/sub-category/ and so on… and also can the business listing come under the city, e.g, xyz.com/city1/some-resturant-name/ what im looking to achieve is to list the businesses in sub-catagory. so that all the sub-categories and main categories would be same for each city. Hi Guys, the Keywordsearch in http://javothemes.com/directory/demo2/home-2/ is looking for Categories. Is there a way to set it that it will search actually for existing listings in database.?. I can not find it on one of the demos.. 
( if so could you provide link ?)
The same KEYWORDSEARCH Bar … what options do I have for Search settings? since I see its locations, pulls from Google.
Can I set it as a ( Universal Search) no matter what terms I punch in . ? Lets say if I punch in a Cityname or a Category or a actual listing by name ?

the categories and locations will be filter from actual database.
The single search form has 2 options. you need to choose one of them (keywords or address).
We tried but it was not easy to combine.

Hi Javo, I may be purchasing your theme shortly as the theme I am currently using (from one of your competitors) is now INCREDIBLY SLOW. It was fine initially but now that we have 1500 listings the site speed is unacceptably slow despite using Cloudflare. With no signs of this changing soon (and with our plans to treble or quadruple the listings soon) I would like answers to these 2 questions when you can please:
1. Do you have a ceiling/limit of listings that you advise/recommend with your theme? 2. Can we import our existing site listings to your theme if we purchase?

1. I am not sure about Cloudflare. however we have tested that much and it works fine on maps.
2. You need to find a plugin to import your data. I have heard wp all import and wp ultimate import plugins work fine. however if you have too many, you may need to separate them and import.

WooCommerce seems to be the core to many great features.
For example: Add voucher/coupon to the listings by using:
WooCommerce Product Vendors and WP Job Manager – Products
(By the way this felxibility ist the strength of your competition Listify)
I rather prefer your theme – and hope you get the effciency via WooCommerce-compatibility

Is it possible to only search and list “Deals” (aka events) via homepage?
Also filter; Featured; Favourites should show “Deals” (aka events)

Just 2 quick pre-sale questions:
1) Is it possible to use the category / drop down / location /keyword search tool (as shown on this page: http://themeforest.net/item/javo-directory-wordpress-theme/full_screen_preview/8390513) on the homepage too? Is that a widget or shortcode form that can be slotted in where you like?
2) Is there a way for the admin to have pre-publishing approval option for the submit an event / listing by users? Or can any user simply publish anything without it being vetted first by the site admin?

I just noticed that the link goes to the demo load page. I think I saw someone ask this before and it’s one of the shortcodes you’ve got listed? Yes?
And further clarification on question #2: if I am offering users to submit an event or listing for free (not charging them to do so), is there still the “pending publishing” option so site admin can check it before it is published for all to see on the website?

1) I am not sure how you want. by the way, the search form on demo homepage is a shortcode which you can place on pages.
2) Yes there is an option to have publish / pending after being submitted. so if you set “free / pending”, new posts will be pending.

I love this theme. I have buy this package and now i have 2 question:
1: For translation i use localization plugin. But, i realy don’t find the word that i want to translate. For example, on the “Add item” page, i want to translate “ADD ITEM”words, i just goo to: Tools==>>Localisation==>Javo Directory ==>>Rescan, edit and then i search the word but i don’t find it. Any ideea where it’s my mistake ?
2: I just want to remove the ” FEATURES ” fields from “add item”page, but i realy don’t know how.

Featured Listings should NOT show the company profile, but their “Deals of the week” or their events.
And search-results in common should concentrate on the deals, less on the company.

MY GOAL: My site should list companies, which show their “deals of the week” in the city/region of the user. In other word: It is not so much about a company to get simply listed. It is more about the deals/offers they have, which will expire after a certain period ot time!
Therefore I need an option for a company to set “Deals”.
Can the admin set fixed restricted start and end period of “DEALS” in packages, for which the user can register?

Unfortunately there is no a front-end form for posts on blog. I think there are some plugins for it. but it needs to create some individual pages. if you purchase our products, you may need to find the plugin and work on it.
