I have few critical issues with the mobile theme.
When I publish a new post, even if I refresh the page, it doesn’t show me the last post, first I have to open it with chrome incognito and then it pops up.
The homepage slider, also, doesn’t not appear, it’s just a blank slot at the beggining of the page.
The menu doesn’t work, when I try to open it, it doesn’t do anything.
It’s critical because we have a lot of visits via mobile and we can’t offer this errors to our readers…

I’ve checked your site and found it’s an old version (the latest version is v1.3.0). Please make sure you’ve already update the them. You can follow instruction for updating the theme in topic ‘01. I already did, even before to ask you because I didn’t want to bother with stupid questions.
I’m using sprout child, child is not updated but supposedly, the child theme takes all the information from the parent, isn’t it?
As I said, if I access in incognito mode everything works fine, if not, you can see the result.
Please envirra, I know that you take everything seriously but notice that we are in a serious issue.
Could you please check it again? Now i see the latest version of theme and don’t found the problem as your describe.
If the problem is still, Could you please tell me how do you test this issue? (OS, Device name, etc.)

I think this may be caused from browser’s cache because the problem is not occurred in the incognito mode. Please clear browser cache and check again.

It shouldn’t be that because, I get the problem with new entries too.
I checked my phone and others and they don’t have any site data saved on its memories.
Also, since I updated again the template, feed doesn’t works properly, I get errors:
The URL does not appear to reference a valid XML file. We encountered the following problem: Your feed has an invalid character(s) in it. This may be caused by editing your posts with a wordprocessing program.
But the main thing is the mobile theme.
What can I do to solve that? You saw my screen, this is what the other phone get when they try to connect to our page.

For invalid feed, The error point is on the line 312 at column 25. It’s in a post content. Please make sure the post content of this post http://letsgeek.es/primeras-imagenes-filtradas-del-sony-xperia-z4/ not contains an invalid charater. BTW, Feed is rendered by wordpress, not from theme. You may disable all plugins and check again.

Im having a hard time configuring the buddypress and bbpress aspect of the site. Such as the register page, forum and everything else related to the forum social aspect. Is there any kind of documentation you can point me too as the documentation included in the theme had no instructions for them.

Is there away to make the infobox words darker? the words are coded for black #000000 , but the info box words still look more gray and dull the screens. I don’t want to bold it, but is there way to either darken the color or change a few of my info box colors to a different color? If so may I have the code to change that. Thanks again!

1. Yes, This theme is follow wordpress way to process data which you can use a caching plugin to reduce server loads.
2. Yes, Mega menu is also support 3rd-level menu.
3. This theme has 3 position for menu (top, main and bottom). You can add a menu item as you need.
4-7. No. These options is not available.

Hey 1 question. My home page pictures are still cutting off. Although i’ve made them the exact size they are suppose to be for the featured. Is there a code for the images on the full size not to cut off the heads of the pics?
Lastly the ticker won’t come back up. Is there away to have it come back via mobile? My plugging seem to making the ticker work on mobile view. Would really like that back. Thanks again!

1. You can change date format at “Settings > General > Date Format”.
2. The “post box with sidebar” has only right sidebar.
3. There is only big slider. Otherwise, You can add a custom section and use shortcode to display a slider from third-party plugin.

Hi,
Having trouble with content showing in Post Boxes when it’s Category has been excluded. It doesn’t always happen, but I have several pages set up using the VW Page Composer with either a Post Box or Post Box w/ Slider set to show posts from only a certain category.
If you look at my Home page (http://bullet-blog.com/) I a section for recent downloads at the bottom. At the top of the page I have a “Featured Articles” and “Articles” section displaying my blog posts. These are both setup to exclude the Downloads category and any child of it, but for some reason they keep popping up under the articles section. I have checked the settings for the post boxes as well as the post categories, both of which are set correctly, but it still happens.

Awesome theme! I need a little bit of help with some custom css, hopefully this is the right place to ask.
Everything on my site is in Chinese and it looks like the text in Chinese is smaller than the text in English. There are a few places I need help making it a bit bigger that aren’t in the Typography theme options section. I’m hoping you can let me know what I need to put in the custom css section and I can just play with the text size number until I get the perfect size.
I need to make the following things bigger:
1) The titles of widgets (both in the sidebar and the footer)
2) Items in regular drop-down menus in the main menu of the site
3) Items in the 4 column mega menu, both the sub headings and the links
4) The general text in the bbPress forum posts

I also need help with a couple more things.
1) In the 4 column mega menu the headings of the 4 columns are still the smaller text size, is there a css line for that I can edit?
2) I used Poedit to translate the theme as described in the documentation and everything’s translated great. The various bbPress pages though aren’t translated. My guess is there’s another .po file somewhere that controls all the bbPress stuff. Do you know if this is the case and if so where the file is?

I have purchased this theme and have it running and operational at The First Time Buyer. It’s a UK based site for information on buying your first home and generally tips and advice for first time property buyers.
On the front homepage, you can see some boxes or blog post shortcode. These are ordered by latest first. Is there a way I can order by earliest first please so that these steps go in order?
Can you allow this as an option when adding blogpost shortcode?

This code is working on v1.4.0. Please make sure your’re running on this version. Otherwise, Please make sure the Sprout Shortcode plugin is already installed.
I have just downloaded the version on Themeforest. Applied this to my live install and still this code does not work. When I check the version it is saying v1.3.0. Can you advise please? Where can I see the 1.4.0 update or get this installed?
Please delete the old version of Sprout theme from your wordpress and install the new theme.
I have done this on several occasions now and it is still not working. You have said version 1.4. If you look on the front page of this theme you have latest version 1.3.

There is no filter about post date. This may caused by some plugin. Please disable all plugins (except theme’s plugin) and check again.
Having problems displaying adsense ads on my site after installing this theme. I finally narrowed it down to the use of ASynchrounous ads and had to switch everything over to Synchronous Ads..
Just curious if you knew about this and if there were a timeline to have this fixed?

I have changed all of the “in-content” ads to Synchronous and that seems to have helped, but I am still having problems with ads displaying in the widgets and sidebars, regardless of being Asynchronous or Synchronous.
If you look at my home page http://bullet-blog.com/ there should be 2 – 336×280 ads appearing on the right sidebar (1 in the Page Sidebar, 1 in the Blog Sidebar). The second one (located under my Google+ badge) almost never shows when the site first loads. If you refresh the page, it usually shows after that. This holds true about 80% of the time a page loads with a sidebar.
Occasionally it loads but only shows text and the CSS is completely messed up and allows the ad to cover over the Sidebar Widget below it.
Any help would be great.. Love the theme by the way!

I’ve checked the ads in Chrome with incognito mode and not found the problem. Both ads is shown normally. I also tried to check the another point that may be a cause of problem but not found.
BTW, I think this may not be caused from theme because the ads code was inserted correctly.
Yeah… I’ve tried multiple different Ads, Sync & Async, different sizes and variations, and I still have it happening about 40-50% of the time. I also tried turning off all plugins, including cache and security, as wel as clearing browser cache and that did not work either. The only reason I think it might be theme related is that I have only had this issue since installing the Sprout theme..
I really love this theme and it works great for my site, but I do rely somewhat on these ads to help pay for the cost of the site..
One other odd problem is when I view the site on mobile, sometimes the header (banner) ad displays correctly, and sometimes it uses the wide 728×90 ad, which messes up the responsive layout. I placed both ad size options (728×90 & 468×60) in the theme options, but it does not always load the right one..
I’ve tried viewing the site on several desktops and mobile devices now, with the same results for both problems, which makes it really surprising you didn’t encounter the same thing..
If it helps, this is the error that Chrome gives me in the console:

Don’t worry, The message about ‘dppx’ is just a warning about css, not affect to any part.
For the Bad Request error, This is a responsibility of adsense system because the ads code is placed in the page’s source code correctly. This may also affected to the mobile ads on header.
I’ve also checked the code but not found any code that working with or block the ads code. Theme is just place you ads code on the page.
Could you please try disabling this option ‘Theme Options > Site > Enable Sticky Sidebar’ ?
Same results. “No form to register impression for!”.. I know you keep saying its not the Sprout theme, but that is the only common factor with all of this. If I switch to any other theme, the ads appear as they should on the first page load, sidebars and content, all ad types, every time. As soon as I switch back to Sprout, the same problem.
I don’t mean to offend, but I don’t find it possible that you checked and didn’t encounter this error at all. I’ve had over 30 different people in my network check this from their remote stations over the past 2 days and 100% of them confirmed the same problem amongst Chrome, Firefox, IE, and Opera.
I just can’t see there is anyway that the problem is with Adsense, as again, Adsense loads just fine in every other theme.
Is it possible something is loading out of order (Javascript, CSS, JQuery,??) and causing the Ads to not show or to break the Adsense Script?.. Several times I’ve tested it this evening and the Ads would load and then immediately disappear…

The only one possible case is from Sticky sidebar, because the sidebar will be detach and attach again for sticky and may caused of adsense.

Doesn’t seem to have fixed the problem. I have these plugins installed as requested; Sprout Shortcodes, Sprout Theme Options Panel and Simple Local Avatars. Do any of these activate the ‘views’ counter, or is it the theme itself? If I deactivate and reactivate the theme, will I loose my settings?

Hi, congrats for this theme! I have a problem with automatic thumbnails, because WP generate them with a crop action, so I’ve installed “Force Regenerate Thumbnails” plugin and now i have two formats:
- 360×240 (standard); - 360×152 (optimized with FRT plugin);
Now, how can i “say” to the theme to use only 360×152 instead of 360×240 thumbnails?
I need this configuration on “Block grid – 2 columns” layout and “Block grid (2) – 3 Columns” (Post Box with Sidebar sections).

Hello Last week buy the sprout theme. A week later I had to go back to my previous theme ( delicious magazine, WooThemes ) because I have lost 50% of my visitors . I tried to wait a while to see if it was temporary, but unfortunately it is not. I’m not sure why this loss of visitors. It seems that may have to do with repeated H1 and loading speed of the website. Everything seems to depend on the new Theme. My website is gabinedepsicologia.com
