I installed BBOOTS and everything works quite fine, except ….
When I am logged in, Main menu (Profile, Messages, Settings, Log Out) doesn´t work. If I click any of the links, nothing happens.

Hi! I’m interested to buy this theme knowing you are working on a phpbb 3.1x version. I would like to know some thing before I buy this and the mini cms. Is the update included when I buy the current version? Will mini cms also be compatible with phpbb 3.1.x? I really like the layout if this theme with all the functionalities but using a dark almost black theme now. will it be hard to use custom css and make everything dark instead of white? Got some knowledge of css and html5 but javascript and bootstrap is mostly unknown for me. Header image can be changed I presume?

Darn – I wish I’d have known it didn’t do 3.1.x before I bought it. It looks like a great theme, but this is my first time messing with phpBB and I didn’t know about the 3.0.x/3.1.x differences. It might be good to make that more prominent.

Alternatively You can use local host on your PC but its bit tricky to set it up...FYI:

Hi, I love your theme, it simply blows all the others out of the water.
Pre-sale question: How hard is it get the forum up and running without much coding experience. I’ve used only Wordpress up to this point.
Also, do you need to have a domain name and a host to test out the forum like the way you do with Wordpress?

I am having a very hard time trying to install AutoMOD. I follow the instructions to the T, and when I point my browser at wdwnorth.ca/forums/install, I get this message..

Hello – I am struggling with the last 2 steps. I upload BBOOTS folder manually to the root folder via ftp. but nothing new shows up in the ACP panel for styles.
What do you recommend?
Upload the “BBOOTS” folder contained in: MAIN-THEME/Bootstrap3x/001-ElectricBlue/BBOOTS to your styles folder of your forum root (Where the index.php resides). From the Administration Control Panel (ACP) and within the “STYLES” tab choose BBOOTS (previously uploaded) and install it. Make BBOOTS the default style
Never mind – fixed it! It seems to work on 3.0.13 – are there any major issues here i should be vary of?

I have installed the latest version of phpBB with Softaculous and just bought this theme, but it is not compatible? Is there any way to install it without AUTOMod? Please help me, I’ve trying for hours without luck!

Its not a fix, its a rewrite . I don’t have a date yet. I’m working on the update. FYI, honestly speaking there is no rush to update. Once you go with 3.1.x forget about any customization level you are used to see with the 3.0.x and this will be a default for a very VERY long time thanks to the phpBB team in making things impossible to develop. If there are no events that you need you cant create extensions… Customization is extremely limited.

Well I purchased this theme a while ago and I’m only just getting around to installing it. How do I install it without using Automod? I’ve put the BBOOTS theme files in the correct directory (checked and double checked and I’m 100% sure I’ve done it correctly) but it’s not showing up in available themes. Any idea how to get it up and running?

I don’t have a fixed date yet. This is mainly due to two important things.
1. I write my themes from the ground-up 2. I had to wait for 3.1.x to be a more mature and tested software – Between the first release and the 3.1.3 version they changed many things and therefore the updates was just a waste of time.

2. By when do you plan to release a version for 3.1.x? Will this be a free upgrade for the ones who buy any of your themes now?

Mainly design, however the is some structural changes between the two. They both share the same AMD loader and other common proprietary techniques unique to my styles. To put this simply, Minimalist is FLATBOOTS where post content is the the king. BBOOTS is for forum Admins who needs lots of info displayed at all the time.

Oops sorry I missed that!. I’m writing the framework for 3.1.x as we speak. I just don’t have a fixed date yet. This is due to the facts I write my projects from scratch compared to other author who just simply add some CSS to the original prosilver template. (Which I can assure you is also the most poorly written theme there is). I figured it out i only have one issue. The website is not appearing correctly on mobile when the phone is upright. Ads and name appear incorrect and the page is only 25% full. When it is tilted to the side it fills in 100 % of the screen how can we fix this…
