I have purchased and am using the Abrel theme. It is working great for the most part, but I am having trouble trying to have the body go over the header image with opacity. Any ideas on how to make that happen?

If I understand you correctly, you need to remove the image from the header and the transparent background.
You need to remove the image from this block in the .html file and comment or remove out one line in the css/main.css file.
