Hi, this template come with a preset colors, but you can also customize it at app\assets\scss\_variables.scss.

I so hope you can help me… I have spent more than 4 hours trying to integrate this template (the starter) into my Rails 5 app. I’ve done everything Rails-like to make the assets play nicely and worked through all errors in the console related to asset files not being found. There are no errors yet no matter what I do, I cannot get the dropdown menu, quick-nav right-hand menu, or anything else to animate or function.
I am so frustrated because there is nothing in the logs and this is a completely new app that I just generated from scratch so I can’t imagine what the conflict could be. I loaded jquery and poppler before bootstrap, and tested that jquery is working properly. I’ve confirmed everything in vendor is accessible and the page is rendering exactly like the demo… but yet nothing actually works.
I’ve copied the load order for both css and js to match exactly what is in the starter template.
What on earth am I doing wrong? It has to be something simple but after 4 hours, I am so close to giving up.
Can you confirm that if I’m just wanting to get the starter template to work as HTML and non-compiled css, I can avoid using the ‘scss’ directory at the start? I will use it soon, but right now I’m just looking to get basic functionality working.

Hi Nate, thank you for offering a refund option. I will do that if I cannot get this to work with a little more time. Can you provide some tips on what might cause the behavior I am seeing? For example, a certain css file not loading or some js being loaded multiple times? Does the menu animation occur via jquery? does it require jqueryui? or is it 100% native CSS? Does it rely on animation.min? Thanks for helping me.

Hi Nate, I’m too far from being live with this app so I cannot provide a link link or repo at this point. If you’re still willing to, I’d like to take you up on the refund. Your template is very good and I wish it would have worked out for me. It is definitely not a template problem as it works locally in Chrome, but isn’t playing nicely with the Rails pipeline. I could troubleshoot it for hours more and probably identify root cause but at this point it is probably best to cut my losses. Please issue a refund at your convenience.

I have an issue on Internet Explorer 11 and Microsoft Edge… In the side menu, the level 2 links are not displayed properly : big spaces between them and seems like the list-style-type:none is not working.

Hi, we will fix this in next update, for quick solution, you can remove background: rgba(25, 37, 50, 0.5); from .side-nav-dark .side-nav .side-nav-inner .side-nav-menu > li.dropdown ul.dropdown-menu app.css:1918.
It has issue with loading.
I inspect that, this is happening for multi select drop down. Can you please fix this issue? Many customer is not selecting this theme only for this reason.

I have a problem In Task app. When I drag task container to non empty section, it runs fine. But I drag task container to emtpy section, it does not run properly. Task container goes back to old position. How do I fix this issue.

I looked at the Bootstrap 4 website (https://getbootstrap.com/docs/4.1/utilities/spacing/) and it has the syntax of {property}{sides}-{size} for spacing. But yours seems to using a double dash format and not sure what the “v” represents in this example. Are you using your own defined spacing modifications? Can you please clarify. Thank you

You can add .side-nav-folded beside .app class to make it collapsed by default.

Hi, some of the page have its own js file to reduce the load, but you are possible to inline them and compile in one.
