Hi Luca, thanks for reaching out. It looks like the form is working on the front end. So it might be something to do with your server config. You could contact your hosting support to see if they can see why you’re not receiving the submissions. Or, if you would like me to take a look you can email me your hosting details (email in the documentation).

Hello MP, thanks for the awesome template. I own a company called Brutal Security, it kind of just worked out. But my issue I am facing right now is that I simply cannot get the contact form to work. I have changed all the details in your support doc, I am not a novice to simple PHP mailers and have tested my own script to confirm mail is sending outbound from my domain and hosting provider same as the SMTP. Could you possibly do a quick code review for me as a sanity check please? I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi there, I really like your brutalist theme but had a quick question. While trying to install within wordpress I’m getting an error stating it doesn’t have the style.css files necessary. I’ve noticed the stylesheets are named “main”, have you run into this problem before or have any suggestions? Thank you!

Hi Jon, BRUTAL is an HTML only template. It is not a WordPress theme so it can’t be used with WordPress without some customisation. Happy to process a refund via ThemeForest if you request it. Or, if you prefer you can email me and I can help you with the customisation.
Thanks for the great template. Wondering if you can help me. How do I turn off the lazy loading in the owl carousel for the products section photo rollovers? I cannot resolve the slow loading times with any image file format or size in space and dimensions, they all load at the same interval. Would like them to load instantly.

Hiya, thanks for purchasing my template. You can turn off lazyloading for the carousel images in the /js/main.js file, line 132. Change ‘lazyLoad: true’ to ‘lazyLoad: false’. Also, make sure you are loading main.js in the footer, not main.min.js. I hope that helps!

Hi there, this is a HTML template only, so won’t work out of the box with Shopify. You will need a web developer to adapt the template for you to make it work.

I downloaded this template intending to use it with my hosted wordpress site at siteground. However, I just realized that it is not a wordpress theme. Can you tell me how I can use this theme on siteground without the wordpress managed site? Note that I will be using it for a one day event coming October 1. So, a single page setup works just fine.

Hi there. When you say “edited to my liking” do you mean I would need have all the content thought out and edited, or do you mean layouts and such? I would love to be in a position that I can edit content over time. I’m fairly good at editing text in HTML pages without screwing up the whole works, if that is necessary.

Hi Greg, yes, I was referring to you adding your own images, text etc. Instructions for editing the HTML are in the template documentation.
You won’t be able to upload the template to a WordPress installation as this is not a WP theme. But adding it to a standard HTML website directory on Siteground will be fine.

Hi Michael, I am customizing your template right now. Great work, all very organized, very nice to work with. Thing is: I’ve put myself a YouTube video on the page first thing, all great. Problem is, if I swicht to drag mode, the video suddenly becomes super small, not filling out it’s container anymore. Any idea what that could be about? Maybe the alternatively loaded dark css messing with the YouTube style?

In fact, most of the css changes I do won’t be active in nightmare, even though I copied them into the nightmare css…

Hello. My current sites have embedded video from my Vimeo Pro account that are domain-specific, not “public”. The design of your site is great, I’d like to buy and use it to replace one of my filmmaking samples sites. But, will the template support a “private” video link from Vimeo, like this:

Hi there, the download version is exactly the same as the demo version, but the content is replaced with placeholder content to allow you to replace it with your own content. And yes, the text will resize depending on the device screen size to ensure it is fully responsive and displays well on all devices.
