I will highly recommend you to delete the existing / installed copy of Candor Theme from your website. Once deleted then kindly scan your website with a third party plugin and re-upload a fresh copy again because this could be a malware infection.

I am so sorry for the delay in replying. It is not possible as there is no option on backend to prevent new blog entries to show up on homepage because it is a blog theme.

However, if this is very important for you then it is possible by code level modifications for which you can post your requirement at : https://inspirythemes.com/theme-customization/

Furthermore, you can also create a static page and set that as homepage to get rid of the default variations of Candor Theme.

So, You can override this CSS using same selectors but changing the colors to your own colors. You can add your custom CSS to Quick CSS as guided in documentation http://candor.inspirythemes.biz/doc/#modify-styles

All set thanks. The problem was that I had not created any tags yet, so the dropdown did not appear at all. I would suggest adding a conditional which will instruct the user to create and assign at least one tag in order to proceed.
