clear should work on node 12 but if you are on *nix, you can try using nvm with node 8

it has multiple versions like html version, vuejs version and vuejs + laravel version
which means, you have a laravel installation with vue files instead of laravel blade files.

yes it follows spark 7
we didn’ test spark 8 which is released few hours back but looking at announcement, that should work out of box.
How can you install the Laravel Vue components in Laravel Spark – the docs are very outdated! I did try npm install but I want to know how to get the resources/assets with all of the vue components samples (its for existing project so cant just overwrite which wouldnt work anyway as it is spark – the spark skin seems to be missing a lot of the vue components – which is what i bought the template for!

spark skin only applies clear skin to latest spark, and we added a guide of how to add extra components from clear to spark skin.
adding clear vue components to spark is never our priority neither we advertise that.
Where is the guide? The guide mentions bower which does not exist anymore as its using npm. (there is no bower files)

To use a .vue file from clear follow these steps: Run bower instal Copy the required .vue file from clear to “resources/assets/js/components” directory. Also copy the necessary css and js files to their respective folders. Then register the component in the “resources/assets/js/app.js” file. eg:
var app = new Vue({ mixins: [require(‘spark’)], components: { ‘invoice’: require(’./components/clear.vue’) } }); Then use the component in any of the blade files by using the component tag <invoice></invoice>

but i agree, documentation is not good…we will work on revamping it shortly and provide a better documentation soon.

I just mean, that in the spark skin there isnt any components, I can figure it but would be nice if they were there

but some pages like datatables examples, which uses jquery datatables plugin relies on jquery for obvious reasons.
If I want to use package like laratrust or laraplans, will it compatible to this vue template?
yes because we provide default laravel files with our changes.
but however we can’t provide any support for those packages

earlier we used to have good amount of jquery but we removed most of jquery part, especially all pages common code is not based on jquery now
only pages which are jquery plugins like datatables uses jquery.
so i can say it is less than 40%
