I’m getting the following error in the chat module. How can this be cured?
Uncught TypeError: e.chatAddMessage is not a function at HTMLFormElement.<anonymous> (be_comp_chat_alt.min.js:6) at HTMLFormElement.dispatch (codebase.core.min-3.4.js:6) at HTMLFormElement.m.handle (codebase.core.min-3.4.js:6)

Hi Hamad, please have a look at your inbox, we just replied to your email.
Hello, I bought your template and I’m looking for extensive documentation… For instance, I tried to use without luck Codebase.helpers(‘notify’, { align: ‘right’, // ‘right’, ‘left’, ‘center’ from: ‘top’, // ‘top’, ‘bottom’ type: ‘info’, // ‘info’, ‘success’, ‘warning’, ‘danger’ icon: ‘fa fa-info mr-5’, // Icon class message: ‘Your message!’ }); How can I do ? Is there a user forum somewhere ? Thanks !
Hello, many thanks for choosing Codebase for your project! This helper is for Bootstrap Notify plugin and you will have to include it in your page before trying to use it. Please have a look at the JavaScript section in the Docs at the Bootstrap Notify row for instructions. There isn’t a user forum, feel free to contact us from our profile’s contact form if you need any additional help in the future!

Hello, pixelcave! I’m one of many satisfied customers. The theme is really great and your support team is wonderful! I was looking through the comments and I saw a fellow client by the name of Golemsan asked a few months ago whether you had any future plans to upgrade to fullcalendar 4.x and your reply seemed to indicate that no, there were no plans for this upgrade. With fullcalendar 5.x looming on the horizon, I was wondering if that has changed at all? The reason I’m asking (perhaps a bit insistently, sorry ‘bout that) is because I’m a little concerned that when we upgrade to new versions of codebase, we’d have to overwrite the dependency with fullcalendar to use their latest version… I might be mistaken but it seems like double work. Anyway, it’s not a deal breaker or anything, I just thought I’d ask to know where we stand =)
Hi, thank you once again for your kind words, we are so happy you like Codebase and we were able to assist you. Yes, there is a good possibility that we will integrate FullCalendar v5 in the future, so stay tuned
That sounds awesome, I’ll stay tuned. I have another question: I was wondering… to your knowledge, is there a risk in upgrading codebase to 3.4 but still use Laravel 6?
That would be absolutely fine, feel free to use the Laravel version you want with newer Codebase versions!
Great! Thanks!
do you have react version ?
Many thanks for choosing Codebase for your projects! A React version is not available at the moment but we might create one in the future.

Do you plan to create a react version?
Hi, thank you for your interest in Codebase! We don’t have any plans at the moment but we might in the future.
Pre-purchase question:
I need to add a “signature” field to a form. I have seen some plugins like the following to achieve it. Can I install such plugins in this software?
http://szimek.github.io/signature_pad/ https://willowsystems.github.io/jSignature/#/demo/ https://github.com/bencentra/jq-signature https://www.jqueryscript.net/other/Signature-Field-Plugin-jQuery-jSignature.htmlThanks a lot.
Hi, thank you for your interest in Codebase! Codebase is an abstract template and you can easily add similar plugins to your project or others, based on your preferences.
I’m very happy with this theme / package. Working with it now for a couple of weeks, but I’m new to laravel mix / webpack. I’ve got the zip when I bought the theme, but is there documentation somewhere to see how I get a specific plugin working on a page? E.g. the password strength thing? I’ve also send you an e-mail with some of our code.
Many thanks once again for choosing Codebase for your project! Please have a look at your inbox, we just replied to your email.
Thanks. With a push into the right direction from you I’ve solved the problem. The password strength meter now works like in the example pages.
We’re glad it was helpful and you’ve made it work. Wish you all the best with your project and happy coding!
Hi,
Does this only work with Laravel? What does it come with if I were to buy?
Thanks!
Hi, thank you for your interest in Codebase! In the package, you will find 2 main versions, a PHP and an abstract HTML one which you can use with the framework of your choice.
Additionally, you will find a Laravel Starter Kit which is helpful if you would like to use Codebase with Laravel and a Get Started version as well, which can be helpful for starting out your page designs. Hope that makes sense but let us know if you have any further questions!
Hello,
Thanks for your reply with detailed info. Do you mean this can work with any PHP framework?
And it comes with a pre-made Laravel PHP code which I can use?
Which do you recommend for beginners to try out? Do you have docs to follow too?
Can I make a GPT site based on this if I have the knowledge in future?
Thanks!
Hello,
May I also know the following:
What’s the difference between this and One UI?
Does One UI come with two versions, where I can choose between PHP and Html framework as well as a laravel starter?
For Codebase, can I customise the login page similar to One UI and adding a remember me for Sign Up 1?
Thanks!
You’re welcome, let’s have a look at your questions:
1. You could use the HTML version with any PHP framework you like. You would just have to integrate the design into your templating system just like you would with any abstract design.
2. The PHP version is a perfect starting point for custom PHP projects but you could use it to get inspired and create similar functionality in any third party PHP framework.
3. If you are planning to use a PHP framework, we would suggest to check out the Laravel version which includes a great online documentation. We include a detailed documentation to get you familiar with template’s structure but you have to be familiar with the framework to use it.
4. You could make any website you want, as long as you have the knowledge to code the functionality you need.
5. OneUI uses similar technology but follows its own design approach and provides different page examples. It includes PHP/HTML versions and a Laravel Starter Kit as well. It comes down to personal preference and feature availability!
6. You can customize any page to match your preferences and project’s requirements. The template can assist you with the User Interface aspect of your web project but you will have to code the backend functionality.
Hope that helps, thank you!
Hello,
Thank you for the in-depth information. Really appreciate that.
I believe there’s support coming from you too when I purchase it right?
Does the support follows with the support on envato or I’ll get lifetime?
Thanks!
It should be able to work with this if I choose codeigniter right?
You’re welcome! You will get 6 months of support with your purchase by default but you can extend it to 12 months if you want to! Please have in mind though, that support does not include customizations or assistance with custom integrations/development. You should be able to integrate template’s design with any custom app but you should already be familiar with HTML/CSS/JS (it’s also better if the app is friendly to UI customizations). Thank you!
Hello,
Thanks for the reply! Greatly appreciated!
This panel can work as a front-end and admin panel for a GPT rewards site? Like the administrator or moderator can switch to their own sub account such as members?
Will this time also work with scripts found on codecanyon such as AdLinkFly or Adflex?
Hello, you’re welcome! Yes, it could work as a front-end/admin panel for such site or with other scripts but you must have the coding skills to integrate the User Interface to existing tools or build your custom GPT site. Codebase can assist you with the UI part but you or a web developer should code/integrate the functionality you want. Hope that helps!
Hi, Thanks for the reply again! But if I would like to figure out how it works and try to build something out of it should be fine right? But if I were to need customisation or need some help with web development, I cannot contact you guys and pay?
Of course, you should be totally fine, Codebase is easy to work with and was built with developers in mind! Unfortunately, we are not available for freelance work though, but thanks a lot for considering us
Hello, I use this theme for an admin app. Great theme and easier to customize. I don’t find a option in the config.php to do not show the sidebar only for a tablet in portrait layout. Could you help me? Thx
Hi, thank you once again for choosing Codebase for your project and kind words, we are glad you like it! There are 2 available options you can set for screen widths smaller than 992px and larger than 991px. The design will adapt correctly based on these widths and by default there are no further visibility options (for the sidebar) without custom CSS customizations. Hope that makes sense!
Hello, i really like the theme, it’s really well crafted. I’m using it for my Laravel project and it’s really nice that you provide a starter kit ! Just one question : do you have plan to upgrade FullCalendar to v4.x ? Or, why do you keep the v3.x version ? King regards
Hello, thank you very much for choosing Codebase for your project and your kind words, we are very happy you like it! We are so glad you like the Laravel Starter Kit as well!
The 4.x version was made to be mainly used with an ES6 build system, so we decided to keep the 3.x version for now which offers more usage options. Of course, you could easily install it through npm and and use it since we already have an ES6 build system in place for Codebase. Hope that makes sense!

Hello, thank you for choosing Codebase for your project. For support requests, please contact us from our profile’s contact form, from the Themeforest account the purchase was made and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Thank you.
Laravel Form Validation doesn’t seem to be working, can you show how to enable it?
Hi, many thanks once again for choosing Codebase for your project! Please have a look at your inbox, we just replied to your email.
Nice theme. When will we get angularjs update?
Hi, many thanks once again for choosing Codebase, we are very glad you like it! Angular version is not included and there are no plans to create one at the moment. If something changes, we’ll make sure to let you know.
Amazing job! I’d really love to see this page https://demo.pixelcave.com/dashmix/db_hosting.html integrated in this theme too. Would it be possible to add it? it would allow me to proceed with the purchase.
It would be also nice to see a Frontend for such an amazing theme
Thanks so much for your kind words and interest in Codebase Andrea, we are very happy you like it!! That would be a nice addition, thank you for your suggestion, too. It is easy to be implemented with the features Codebase already has and you might see it in a future update!
Regarding the frontend, one was used to be included but unfortunately, it is not allowed anymore. If you decide to go with Codebase though, we could share a couple of examples if you need them
Thanks for getting back to me. That’s great to hear! It would be also nice to see an horizontal version for SaaS. Waiting for it then!
Thanks a lot for your interest and suggestions once again! Be sure to also check out the horizontal menu example in corporate dashboard
Any way we can buy this outside of ThemeForest? They keep adding hidden charges.
Hi Joey, thank you for your interest in Codebase! We’re sorry but unfortunately no since it is exclusively sold through Themeforest.
Hi, I’ve a previous version of codebase 1.3.0. I want to know if the code of version 3.1.0 is compatible with my version or I need to reconvert all the code used.
Hi Giorgio, many thanks for choosing Codebase for your project! You shouldn’t come across any major changes and all of them are documented in the changelog. Feel free to send us a message from our profile’s contact form, from the account the purchase was made, if you need additional help and we will get back to you as soon as possible!
